*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW I recently got a birthday cake from here and had a no-issue experience! When I called to place my order, they warned me about it being a shared kitchen, but that they do what they can to avoid...

cross-contamination risk. Normally I would not risk it, but this place was very highly spoken of in the "Denver GF" Facebook group - so I gave it a try! I ordered a GF small white rosette designed cake in the GF better than sex flavor. Everyone at my party loved it (both GF and non-GF folks) and nobody got sick. upon picking up the cake I also had a GF maple glazed donut and GF chocolate chip scone - the GF donuts are held on the top two racks of donuts, and the scones have their own jar. The cupcakes are with the other cupcakes in a display case, but are in front so likelihood of crumbs dropping it lower - they have their own tower / stand within the display. I asked the woman to wash her hands before grabbing my items and she happily did! I did not get sick from any of the three items I tried! The cake is nice and moist, donut was a little dense but good flavor, and the scone was superrrr dry and dense but that's pretty common of GF scones.

Had them make my gender reveal cake! Not as neatly decorated as seen at other places and past experiences but it was still a really beautiful cake. We did see the color of the frosting from the outside of the cake a bit so we knew what the gender was before actually cutting into it.. which was a little upsetting but we just played delusional a little and it was still a really exciting time. They were great to talk to and speak to over the phone. Very organized.

I am from out of state and needed a cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. I had a vision for what I wanted and the designer captured my idea perfectly. The cake was moist and not too sweet. The bakery was accommodating and professional to work with.

Made exactly the cake I asked for, even during the super busy Thanksgiving season. The cake looked perfect and tasted amazing!

Posh cakes came recommended from a friend who gets her cakes from here and I tried it at her event and knew I had to order here next time I needed a cake. I went ahead and ordered my son's first birthday cake which was a "rookie of the year" / Texas ranger style since we are fans of this team and it came out perfect! The strawberry champagne cake was incredible!!! The 8 inch cake was plenty for about 20 people and they provided a free smash cake which was like a baseball. The shop was easy to find and I was able to place the order over the phone a few days before I had to pick it up! I will definitely be back to order in the future!

Very good bars, I got a mango cheesecake and a lemon bar. Both flavorful and decent size, the lemon one is very sweet but I liked it. Service was also excellent, thanks ladies!

We used Posh both for our apple pie for this year's Thanksgiving & we had them make our gender reveal cake. In both instaances, pricing was competitive, the product tasted great, & the ordering/pick up process was seamless. Everyone at my gender reveal was very impressed with both the look & taste of the cake. I had found a picture on the internet & Posh was able to replicate it exactly. I will definitely use them in the future for any specialty dessert needs & I'd love to try their individual cupcakes.

My sister got her birthday cake from here this year and it was delicious! I'm not a giant fan of cake but the Better Than Sex cake here was fantastic. Dense, moist, chocolate cake with delicious caramel filling and just the right amount of buttercream frosting. The frosting was not overly sweet like other store bought frostings which was great. I'd love to try more items from here!

I am new to the area and wanted to try a local bakery for my son's confimation ceremony. I sent an online request for a cake with the Lutheran rose and it allowed me to upload a picture. I got a call the very next morning from the baker who went over all the details with me. She helped me choose flavors and design. When I picked it up a few days later I was so excited. It was beautiful and they were so kind! At the ceremony the next day the church guests were astounded by how delicious and beautiful it was! The frosting is so tasty but not overly sweet. The cake is moist, fluffy, and perfect! If you need a cake, I can not recommend them highly enough! read more

Hmmm.. debated if I should say anything but feel I must. 1. Hilary is hard to get in touch with. I finally got the new email & then after a few phone calls got another person who works there & took my order. I wanted a Batman cake for my 4 yr old grandson. Included pics & description. 2. cakes are expensive. I can see spending more on a wedding cake but $150 for a kids cake is ridiculous. I've done 3 cakes with Posh Cakes. My mistake. 3. this Batman cake was a let down, just ok but very last minute as it wasn't ready when I came in. 4. the 2 layers of cake were very good but not worth it. 5. hubby tried to get a cake for my b-day around Xmas but finally gave up, unable to get a return call. 6. I think her wedding cakes are beautiful & probably worth the $ but anything else is just not worth it! 7. Remodel is very cute but miss the pastries & cookies! read more

OK, so this is almost 2 years overdue, but I have to write a review for anyone who might be in the market for wedding cakes. This girls are amazing! I love these ladies!! I sampled their cakes and cupcakes at one of the wedding expos downtown. Out of all the different bakers in attendance, their cakes were the moistest and the filling was amazing. So, when my now husband got back from deployment in Kuwait, we went in for a tasting. We tried just about ever combination possible that they offered, my husband more than me since i think he was a little deprived of quality deserts! We settled on white and strawberries and cream and chocolate with raspberry filling for the cake. Their strawberries and cream is DELICIOUS! Its fresh and so light! Not to be outdone, the chocolate and raspberry was hands down the almighty winner, with its rich chocolate-y goodness and hit of raspberry. Our guests loved both! (we got 1 layer of white cake, and 2 of the chocolate) Besides the chocolate-y goodness of the cake, they did a fantastic job creating the cake we wanted. We had picked a bright royal blue color as the main color for our decorations and they ended up creating a blue and white swirl effect on the cake based off the ribbon swatch I had given them. Everyone loved it, and it was almost to pretty to eat! (Almost!) To top everything off, they were professional, accommodating, and they even made us a recreation of the top tier of our cake for our 1 year anniversary. By far I loved how easy they were to work with, no hassle and no worries! Thanks ladies! PS...the red velvet cupcakes...OMG....and the strawberry champagne cupcakes.....*sigh* =) read more

I was looking for some one to do a 90th Birthday Cake for my mom. We had family fly in to celebrate her special day. I cannot express how absolutely beautiful the cake was! I just said to put Happy 90th Birthday Mom but what they added was just.....well there are no words! Chocolate cake, chocolate icing.....beautifully decorated with real flowers and beautiful delicate glitter! Absolutely, hands down, the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. The cute little Posh Pastry shop took me by surprise. After eating our dinner a few doors down, we caught a glimpse of the pastries sign and headed over. At first, I felt a little rushed when the lady behind the counter asked how many cupcakes we were going to get. It appeared.. she was trying to size up our box. In the past, they have waited for me to look around and put my pastries aside until I'm finished. Love the variety of options at this darling bakery in Parker! Just popped in for gluten free week, and the owner had fresh baked gf donuts! And, let me tell you, this is a delicious treat!! We also find Posh Pastries at their pop up location Sunday mornings at the Parker farmer's market! She usually has some gf scones or something to kickstart our Sundays! And, if gf is not your thing....she has plenty of gluten full deliciousness available!! Go for the cheese & cherry danish! read more

I placed an online order for 3 dozen cupcakes for a 50th birthday party. I appreciated that the minimum order for each flavor was only 6 so I was able to get a wide variety of flavors (the Better than Sex was a crowd favorite). I received an email confirmation for my order and showed up on the designated day/time to pick them up. They were ready for me and carefully packaged for travel. The cupcakes were tasty and moist- all of the guests commented on how great they were. People even took home leftovers (ever tried pawning off leftover cake- impossible). They are a little pricey but they are decent size- too much for one person really. My only suggestion would be to offer mini/smaller cupcakes at a cheaper price. read more

The icing was definitely the highlight - good, but nothing extraordinary. The real letdown was the cake itself, which was dry across the board. The minis were especially dry, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. On top of that, the flavors just didn't stand out. Nothing really wowed us or left a lasting impression. After seeing so many people leaving with only ice cream, we kind of understood why.

The croissants were buttery and fluffy, the fruit tarts were divine and the baguette was perfect. They were surprised this bakery was right around the corner from their house and insisted on the address as they said they'd want to come back to check the place out. I told them there were lucky to have such an amazing bakery so close to their place. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop in for a treat. One to share, two for me! The employees are always super friendly and helpful too. Definitely a place to check out! It will become a favorite!

Ordered my youngest son's first birthday cake and cupcakes from Posh. We chose four different favors (chocolate with chocolate mouse, vanilla bean, strawberries and champagne, and bananas foster). I showed Hillary a picture I'd found online of the style I wanted. She made an absolutely adorable cake, even better than the picture, and at a much better price than other bakeries had quoted me. She even decorated each cupcake with a little fondant piece of food to match the cake and our Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. I got tons of compliments on how great everything looked. But the best part was eating the cake and cupcakes. They were divine! Moist, rich, and full of flavor. We were thrilled and so were it guests. Let me just say I think this place is wonderful! I had a beautiful cake made for my girlfriends baby shower and it could not have turned out any better. I had never heard of this place until i visited the Asian bistro next door and i thought id try it out. There cakes are a bit pricey, but are well worth it. I would recommend booking way in advance as it seems that there last minute availability is not good. I have not tried any of their pastries yet but do look forward to having them bake me another cake.!! Received the Wedding cake with several cracks and the top layer leaning. Attempted hiding all the cracks. 2 hours later top layer started to lean more. After the initial cut... Nothing to save. The cake top tumbled. NO THANK YOU POSH Pastries. NEVER RECOMMEND YOU AGAIN ! On top of this, the flavor was WRONG!!! THE BEST CAKES I've ever had! I have now had their gluten free cake and the regular vanilla cake- with the buttercream frosting...absolutely OUTSTANDING! I wish I had found them before both of my daughters weddings...they both had dry, expensive & tasteless cakes compared to POSH!
