I recently visited Posh Nail Bar for pedicures and overall had a really nice experience. The massage chairs were amazing--definitely one of the highlights and super relaxing. I went with the Pearl pedicure, and it was good. Everything felt clean and well done, and the staff was friendly and attentive. That said, for a $65 pedicure, it felt just a little overpriced for what you get. It wasn't a bad experience at all--just didn't fully match the price point in terms of extras or overall wow factor. Walking into the salon no one stated how much gel polish would be, the paper with all the pedicure options listed never stated the price of gel and the ladies who did our pedicure never stated gel was an extra cost. Per person, they charged us $85!!! How is gel polish an extra $20!? This salon is too expensive for a basic pedicure and service. absolutely horrible. i asked for a fill in and had to tell them multiple times to reshape them because they were crooked from her only shaping one side. i asked for a simple design on 2 nails and they had to have someone else do it . (which is fine) but they did not put a color coat before doing the design so you can see my nail underneath. i got them done 1 week ago and the sides have chipped on 3 different nails. i've worn acrylics for over a year and have not once had one chip. then to top it off my bill was $75 for a fill in will not go again. If you like to over pay, be spoken to rudely, and treated as if something as simple as a French tip is asking for the world then this is the place for you! I would be giving 0 stars if I could. This was the WORST nail experience of my life. Went in and asked for almond French tip, with a nude clear base, simple request most would say. Apparently for them it is not. They kept giving me every shade of pink base you can think of, even after showing pictures of what I was wanting. Finally I got handed a book and told "to figure it out on my own". Once I just settled for a color, I then got told I could just leave because I asked them to reshape a nail that was crooked. Finally after over 2 1/2 hours I had to pay $90 for these nails, which for someone who has gotten their nails done since they were 16 is CRAZY and OUTRAGEOUS. End of story do not waste your time here unless you want to over pay, be rudely treated, and have to settle for your service. read more

First off let me say the host was super accommodating, sweet, and helpful. I was in there for quite some time before anybody gave me a pedicure or touch my nails which is what I came in there for. I came in there with an overlay that I needed to get filled or taken off and re-done. I was told that it would be about 40 maybe $45. I understood because I had to remove the overlay on my hands already. I noticed that a lady had a basic pedicure with a French tip they looked pretty nice and I told him I wanted that. How was originally gonna get an overlay with two different acrylics and two different colors and serve a simple French tip. While the lady was doing my toes, A young man came to look at my hands. They had been sitting in acetone for over 20 minutes and by the time he got there I had already scratched off all the old acrylic from my fingers. I informed him that my nails were super weak and thin but I wanted to keep the length. He said OK I told him that I wanted an overlay with a French tip. He pulled out two different acrylics powders. Put the plastic tips on, And cut them right before my nails. I'll let him know that I did not want them long ,but he already realize that at the link that he cut them. He put the acrylic on the counter and file them down..... he would be cutting my nails now. My nails are not long but I have been trying to grow them out. So they are long for me, they added the tips and told me that now they were long and it would cost me five dollars more. Keep in mind this is nowhere close to half the length of the popular style that is going on right now. I can close my fingernails in a fist comfortably. They told me the longer that I get them the more expensive they would be. But I said I don't want them long at all I'm just trying to protect my regular nails from breakage. I told them they can remove the tips and do overlay if that's easier. A lady came to try to explain it better to me but it seem that every time I would take something away to make it simpler it cost more. I was sitting there with plastic tips on and said it should be cheaper if we just do my own fingers correct, they said no it'll be five dollars more. I said OK it should be cheaper for just one color on my nails instead of a French tip which I didn't want. They said no it'll be five to $10 more. It started getting to the point of street confusion. I already brought my own fingernail polish, so I said how much would it be to have a basic clear acrylic and just paint my nails. It seem like it was still $50. On top of my toes we were getting close to $100 and my nails still hadn't been touch when I had already been in the shop for over an hour. You could see that the employees were getting agitated, because I was changing what they told me was a good price and what they wanted to do. I end up soaking off the tips they had put on while getting a design on my toe. So I soaked my hands yet again so over 45 minutes in acetone today with already brittle nails. When he took them off he use the drill to file off the rest if the plastic nails and then filed my nails on top of that, which burned. They ended up getting $60 plus tip for the design and my nails are more brittle with no protection or design. I ended up going to Sally's and spending $30 for different items to make my nails stronger. Came home and finished doing my nails myself. Please make sure you know exactly what you're paying for at this place. There should be no reason why people are paying this much for a basic pedicure or a full set it's crazy. This is the first time that I had to leave a nail shop after spending over an hour and 30 minutes inside then going home and doing my own nails absolutely crazy! read more

So, when they asked me which drink I wanted, I, of course, said, "white wine please!" I wanted to be nice so instead of pointing out that the white tip was TOO BIG for a french manicure, again and again, I just sucked it up and told the lady that it's okay whatev; I'll just hope to like it eventually or get it changed next week. Giving 2 stars because the design is beautiful however it's not what I wanted and was overcharged. They brought me the ticket of $90 when I asked why it was so much they then added the flames, they look nice but mind you I didn't ask for that design at all, I asked if they could show me any diamonds/decals they had to SEE if I liked any before adding them on. I don't mind the price as I usually pay $70-80 but these didn't even last me two full weeks so i'm extremely disappointed in the application. I have been coming here since I started school here in 2016. I have never paid more than 45 for anything on my nails. Today I went and I was charged 55 dollars for a "specific shape, white tip kit, and 10 dollars extra for using pink color instead of white". On top of that, I asked for a manicure and didnt get one. For prepping my nails all he did was drill off my cuticle. When he was done with my nails all he put on cuticle oil, did not clean off the extra color, and did not give me an arm massage like they always do. Wow- this place is so nice it felt like I was in a big city. It's all very new, and you can tell- everything is shiny and clean. The actual space is HUGE- at least 30 pedicure stations and 20 manicure stations. They even have cute smaller pedicure chairs for kids. What a great idea! We made appointments a day before to get manicures, and I'm glad we did- it was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. We got there a little early, so we had to wait a bit, but it gave us a chance to pick our nail colors from their extensive color wall and pick which manicures we wanted. They offer you a free drink (sodas, water, beer, wine), and everyone was very nice. I got a regular manicure with the organic package (I chose cucumber) and my friend got shellac with an organic package as well. That was definitely worth the additional $10- delicious smelling scrubs and lotions, a hot towel wrap, as well as a nice hand/arm massage. I can imagine it would be great to do the organic pedicure and get that treatment on your feet! I once loved posh but am seriously disappointed. My nails were thin and ugly . I requested to get a specific person but they went ahead and gave me someone else and my mom got who I wanted . I wasn't too upset because i knew my moms nails would at least be good. Not to mention that the guys are always very rough.. I get cut literally every time I'm in there . I'm usually not one to complain but they could do a LOT better. My soda was also gave to me hot and my mom never even received her drink. I wouldn't be upset but the fact that they call the place a nail BAR but don't ever pass out the drinks is disappointing. I'm really confused on the low reviews for this nail salon. I have been here many times and each time I have had fantastic service! I would definitely recommend making an appointment because they have always been busy each time I came in; however even without an appointment they still made time for me. I have gotten acrylics, a refill, and pedicure services from them and have been in love with the work each time! The pedicure was so relaxing I almost fell asleep! We have been coming to this salon for years and have always had great service. However, today my husband was demeaned and humiliated for having psoriasis. My husband recently spent a month in the hospital for chronic health issues due to medications that were inappropriately prescribed and almost killed him. He needed a pedicure and a little R&R. The technician did even treat him with the dignity of speaking to him but cam to me and said they couldn't give him a pedicure bc his LEGS (not feet!) would get infected if they gave him a pedicure. His psoriasis has gotten bad bc we were unable to treat it in the hospital. However, the dehumanizing way we were treated is unacceptable!!! Not good. At all. The clear coat isn't even on the sides of the nails. It's just dull powder. She didn't clean up the nails at all. Sides of my hands are red - and this is after scrubbing. My pedi looks worse. She didn't scrub my heels so they're still nasty looking. The $100 was a complete waste. They didn't get the cuticles and cut the toenails to the quick. Oh and the receptionist coughed the entire time. If I get covid I'm gonna be IRATE!!! One lady got up and left citing the lady coughing. Then another employee started coughing. Out of town visitor, I went to get a set of dip nails. Went on a Saturday and by the next day my thumbnail had cracked, and by Tuesday three more nails cracked. They are extremely thin and I feel like they would have held up more if they were a little thicker. Pedicure was average, I was seated quickly. I gave a two star, since I feel that was the whole reason for going was to get my nails done. I am disappointed that the nails did not hold up very long. I intentionally picked out this place based on the yelp reviews. I feel that I was not rough on my hands. I've had two other techs there when I've had to come on Tracy's day off, and they were both good. I have gel nails, and I usually get a pedicure. Very disappointed in my visit here today after reading such good reviews prior to going. I usually don't write negative reviews, but this was bad. I got a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. The first issue was that they had two technicians performing the mani and pedi at the same time. I appreciate their effort to expedite the visit for me, but it proved difficult. They placed a pillow on my lap on top of which they placed the soaking dish and UV shellac dryer. Moving my feet in and out of the pedicure tub caused the bowl/dryer to move and so I was constantly being told by each technician to reposition to make their position better. The dryer even fell off my lap at one time and would have fallen into the water if I hadn't grabbed it. Thankfully my nails didn't get messed up by that, but I was scolded by the nail technician for grabbing it because I "could have messed up my nails"... not ok. The technician who did my pedicure cut up my cuticle on my big toe so bad that it is still bleeding 30 minutes after it happened. I've had many pedicures before and have gotten a few nicks here and there, but nothing like this! She kept putting stuff on it to stop the bleeding, but even that didn't work. I finally just asked her to stop and that it would eventually stop bleeding. I'm really hoping it doesn't get infected. On top of that, she did a poor job of cleaning the excess polish on my skin around the nails. She was very nice and apologetic, but did not offer me a discounted price or anything for her error. Honestly, I could have done a better job doing it myself at home. Then there was my shellac manicure. A bubble formed on my right thumb during the drying process, which happens. When I brought it up to the technician who did my nails, she acted annoyed and tried talking me out of fixing saying "It's not that bad." After I politely asked her again to fix it, she did... but not without an attitude. While she was fixing that nail, I noticed there was a black, visible hair dried in the paint of my left thumb, likely from the towel placed on my lap. When I brought this up, the technician said she couldn't see it and had to ask to borrow the glasses of the technician doing my pedicure. Instead of re-doing the nail, she asked if she could just paint another layer over it. At this point, I was so ready to be done, I agreed. In addition, she also cut my cuticles several times that they bled, painted so far away from the cuticle that it looks like my brand new manicure has already grown out a week, and left shellac paint on the pads of my fingers. Overall, this was a poor experience with poor customer service and poor attention to detail. The technician who did my pedicure was sweet, but the one did my manicure acted annoyed with me for most of the visit. Neither offered a discount for their errors. Like I said before, I could have done a better job at home and paid a lot less money. Very disappointed. I will not be back here. read more

I had decided to walk in and give it a try one day earlier this year. I should have trusted my gut and walked back out before I started. Literally everyone working there was hacking and coughing. It was a very slow day and none of them were even working on anyone, so go home if you are sick! I understand if its an average job where you spend minimal face to face time with clients, but when you spend that much time closely with another human, you just can't expose other people when you are sick like that. I got very sick with strep shortly afterwords and have no doubt it was due to my nail tech that kept having to suck snot back up into his nose. I also got a small knick on my large toe durning the process somehow that seriously burned when using the products on it. I literally cannot have children and the gentleman asked if I was in school (I am not), then how old I was, then asked how many children I have and seemed puzzled/put off by the fact that I didn't have any, as if it's like my duty to have children by now or something. Did a good job cleaning up the bottoms and sides of my feet and putting on the polish though. Take it how you will. read more

Been here two times. The first time was a good experience, but the second was awful. For one I bled twice and was in pain and still am in pain. Secondly the first time I was there I was offered military discount, the second I was denied it when I asked, and it's the least she could of done after causing me to bleed twice. My experience here was mediocre. While it's new and very clean, I was underwhelmed by the staff. When I arrived and was looking at colors was repeatedly rushed by who I'm assuming is the owner (even though they weren't very busy), and when I asked to use the restroom before sitting down I definitely got some attitude. When I cane back and sat down she barked at me to put my feet in and hastily turned the water on (which was very cold) and walked away. Still confused by the rush. Beginning my manicure I was asked what length and shape I wanted my nails and when I asked for a few adjustments my nail tech was nearly argumentative, rebutting my request by telling me he did them to be even....but they weren't. Maybe being from Dallas I expect a higher level of service, but overall the manicure just wasn't that great and my nail tech was less than attentive. Nothing besides water was used for the manicure until lotion at the very end and I still have a lot of cuticle snags that weren't even attempted to remove, so I suppose I'll fix that myself at home. The final reason for the 2 stars was as they were putting on my sandals they ruined my big toe completely and tried to fix it by just painting over it...which I did ask to be redone. Overall my nails look fine, but this is by far the most underwhelming mani pedi I've had in a long time. Update: This quite literally was the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Three of my nails chipped within less than 5 days and all of them were chipped or peeling right after a week. Sad waste of money. read more
