I trust Poshy Paws to watch my 2 Yorkies when leaving town, and love the service. Aside from the staff always being extremely friendly, they text photos while boarded... and when I pick them up there's never any anxiety with the dogs, as there has been with other boarding spots. This is a great place, went there today for the first time and have to say you can truly see that the people that work here love their job. They were very welcoming and didn't feel rushed at all. Have had my dog groomed here for over a year, nothing exceptional or outstanding though. About average. But last week my dog was diagnosed with cancer and I made an appointment, with the owner by phone, for a rush grooming to avoid her being under any stress or tension, kept in a large kennel full of other dogs. The owner was working the front desk and told me it would be about 2-3 hrs. I let her know that we had a rushed appointment due to my dogs mesical condition, and had made the appointment a week earlier. She immediately told me that they don't do weekend rush appointments because they are so busy. After being spoken down to, I continued to argued my case and finally got a disgusted toned reply when she told the assistant to get my dog back to the next available groomer. My Wife called to check and got the same story and negative attitude, again, from the owner. When I was on my way out, after paying and leaving a tip, the owner let me know that if this is the attitude she's going to get from us, she'd rather not have out business. If you want an over priced average grooming by a sub-par staff being organized and ran by a disrespectful owner, bring you pet to poshy paws but I'll find a better location. P.S. notice how others who give low reviews receive an apology for bad service. If the owners staff doesn't know or understand her standards opporating procedures, that's not my problem. read more

I saw a previous review about this place raising their prices and I have to agree. Raising your price from $40.00 to $75.00 is a huge rate increase! I could understand a $50.00 increase but goodness to $75.00!? Anyways, I was at work when my husband called me to inform me of this and they could care less and he left with our dog. Note to owner: during this transition of your rate increase, you should be informing all customers of your new price instead of letting the customer drive there to find this out and leaving (for me it's down the street, but I'm also thinking about other customers) I don't read your signs on your wall or the door, poshy paws should be personally advising all customers of this before we come in. I pulled up for my dogs appointment and two people were outside smoking. We had to walk through the smoke to get on the door. I asked if someone who was going to work on my dog smoked. I was told the owners both smoke and then was told she was declining my appointment. That's ok. My dog is really allergic. And I hate the smell of smoke So I don't want her around it even people who have smoke on them. Plus they have it so you can not see the dogs while they are getting worked on. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Yes I was 15 minutes late. Still doesn't excuse bad behavior by owners. I'm glad I was late then I saw the smoking outside. read more

When you go pick up your dog from the groomers & they give you the wrong dog WTF this is NOT MY DOG HOLLEE !!!!!!No no no not my baby!!!! They said it was a mistake, if anyone knows me my babies are not mistakes, get it together Poshy Paws, 1 less customer, never again giving my Hollee to someone else is unacceptable !!!!couple of months ago they had kennel cough in their grooming/ day care building and did not notify anyone including me about this, I had to do home remedies for my dogs because they were really bad with the kennel cough(so sad) I don't understand how in the world you can make this mistake and I had to request a refund for the inconvenience but it dosen't take care of what happens to our furbabies, I'm so done with this place, just warning everyone that thinks their sweet and courteous, no there not loving and caring to my 3 furbabies at all that's is 2 strikes and no strike 3 your out here ladies at poshy paws, games over ladies, my 3 pups mean more to me than you all thinking it's funny and just overlooking this, not me it really makes me angry, my pup was shaking when I received her back this whole poshy paw shenanigans is total nonsense!!!!! The place has great prices and is very cute and clean on the inside. Staff is friendly and very sweet to my boy. We've taken him here a few times now. First time was great his nails didn't get trimmed but we thought, "eh they mush have just forgotten, no big deal" second time was a couple months ago and his shedding (pit bull, shorthair) was just as bad after his grooming service as it was before. And here were are with our third outcome. 1. Nails are great 2. All of his undercoat remains so we've brushed him ourselves 3. Ears are still full of dirt so we cleaned them ourselves as well. The whole point is to not have to do all of this but you really can't beat their price, however, it might be in our best interest to invest in a dremel for his nails and groom him at home. read more

100% best dog grooming place ive ever been to! Super clean and the staff is amazing. My dog is blind and I am VERY picky where I take her to be groomed. When I picked her up she was super happy and loving on the girls that took care of her! Thats rare. She usually wants to get out of there as fast as she can. What I especially LOVE is that my dog got to have some play time with the other dogs. They DO NOT kennel the dogs. My dog is a rescue and I am not a fan of her being kenneled. They put them in a fenced in area to play. THAT is worth every penny! There is a little window you can watch your pet. And also they have a person with the dogs at all times! Brought my two girls in yesterday for bath and brush. They are very large and sometimes not the easiest to work with. They went in very scared and nervous but left as happy as can be. They came out with the cutest halloween bandanas and their nail trim was amazing. You can tell that the groomers too their time to grind down the nails making sure they're not sharp. In the beginning this was a great place to go to. It was $40 to get my dog cut and groomed. When I went in today the lady tells me we raised our prices to $75! A $35 increase comes out to an 85% increase in price!. I told her nobody said anything to me about it on the phone. And very rudely she says it's been posted on our door since October. I told her I have not been into the groomers since October because I don't get my dog groomed in the wintertime. I guess they don't need the business because she told me it was fine if I didn't get my dog groomed with them. Personally I do not think this is how you treat your longtime customers. Nor do I think an 85% increase is acceptable!!! If I told my clients they would have a 85% increase in price they would leave! Bad business practice. Along with being down right rude. She should have at least honored the old price this! I'll find another place thank you very much. Like I said I was never notified of price increase via over the phone or through an email or text or even when I called to make the recent appointment. If there was a sign on the door when I came in in November I never saw it. 85% is a huge increase! It's ok I've taken business somewhere else that I am much happy with. I took both my dogs, Dixie and Tucker here today for the bath and brush package. It's been while since they had a professional groom and it was at PetSmart, rather expensive and my dogs seemed stressed afterwards. This was not the case at Poshy Paws. The staff seemed to really care and the prices are well worth it. My dogs were clean, soft and smelling like heaven and the little neck scarves were freaking adorable!!!
