They are great! My dog had a horrible experience at Petsmart and was terrified of getting his nails cut! He was so stressed out that he had a bloody nose. So we were so scared to take him anywhere. Our other dog gets groomed at Poshy Paws so I told them about his experience and they reassured me he would be well taken care of... they we right! Amazing service! I brought my 12 year old dog in for a full grooming today and he came out acting like a puppy again. Poshy Paws made a great first impression on me! They have awesome staff, really friendly and treated my dog as if she was their own. We used to go to Puff n' Fluff but every time I dropped her off she dreaded it and wanted out. She was a little skeptical going into Poshy Paws because the previous groomers left her terrified, but when I picked her up from here she was so happy. Best place ever!!!! I wish i would have found it sooner; I hurt my shoulder and can no longer give my babies a bath but I don't have to worry about that anymore cause I am a customer for LIFE! My dogs were so happy when I showed up that they didn't really act like they wanted to leave....they made a friend in the daycare and appeared to be having the time of their life. The facility was so clean, the staf were super nice and helpful, my dogs were so clean they squeaked! These women have a heart of gold. I was taking my schnauzer mix to pet smart for the longest time and I was satisfied. I got my husky and when taking him in i just was not happy with the care. It was like cutting a dog's hair was easier than grooming the hair. Poshy paws was referred to me by a friend at the dog park. He said that they would spend the time to make me happy. When i took koda in and got him back i was happy. The 2nd time i was unsure about the service. However i spoke to them about the amount of fur that was still being an issue. They listened. They cared. That's why they are 5 stars. They had me bring koda back and I left him there the entire day and they made things right. It was pretty much a one time issue. Now it's been a year and these ladies have never let me walk out of there shop not pleased. They are wonderful. The best thing is they listen. They address your concern. I was very pleased with Poshy Paws. This is the first time that I have brought my dog to them. They did a great job with the grooming and I was asked about Suzie's tail...Did I want it cut or not? I chose to have it trimmed. The prices here are still reasonable compared to other places. $75 for a grooming for a golden retriever is about the going rate around here. The daycare and boarding prices are still the best around too. I am very happy to have found a place for my dogs to board and to have a fun daycare day once in awhile without breaking the bank. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I was taking my Zoey to PetSmart for the convenience of being close to my home. Zoey isn't really use to other people outside of our family yet being she is still a puppy, so the 1st time I took her to get groomed at PetSmart I could understand her being nervous and in a place that was loud and around stuff and people she wasn't used to. But after 3 times of going you would think she would be comfortable. But the minute we walked into PetSmart she was already trying to get out of my arms and leave. She did the same at pick up. Not to mention when I asked them to do a little more of a trim, the price went from 24.99 to 60.00 for a adult cut! My cousin and parents referred me to Poshy Paws. At 1st Zoey was nervous going into a new place she was unfamiliar with. But the lady at the desk instantly made her feel so loved and comfortable! Within a few minutes, Zoey was kissing her and going to her. I knew everything was going to be fine and Zoey found her new puppy spa place. Shelly her groomer did a great job. Did exactly what I wanted and Zoey smells so good still even 2 days later and she is SOOOOOOOOOOO soft. I love that she is not placed into a kennel like she was at Petsmart while she waits for her appt, even tho Zoey wasn't a fan of the puppy care. Like I said she is in the beginning stages of socializing and they were really busy and all the dogs excitement of a new fur baby coming in was a bit overwhelming for her. However, the girl who was looking over the puppy care, held her and let the other pups smell her to make her a little more at ease. But a few more visits and she will be fine. Altho the location is a drive for me, its totally worth it! I highly recommend Poshy Paws! Never been humiliated in my life like this company has treated me today. Went in to arrange a grooming for an 11-month-old puppy and was told they will refuse my service since I did not like them at all. It's unfortunate because I highly recommend them to friends of mine in the community. The owner, which I never spoke to before advised me that I did not like their services at all and they refuse as a small business owner to have me in the store. Unfortunately, I never went there before for any grooming. By making a harsh judgment in an emotional decision to say that they heard me bad mouthing the company. I feel discriminated which I have cerebral palsy and have a hard time for people understanding what I say to my disability which they do not serve the handicap. I will make sure speaking to the community in the town meeting that this company does not service the handicap community and will never recommend them again. David read more

I took my 10 year old Morkie to Poshy Paws in Peoria, Arizona. On Saturday 03/07/2018. His groomer was Carlos. My dog came home with a limp, sore lower back, a horrible bruise on his inner thigh, and an unhappy/distant demeanor. He did not eat or drink water when we got home or the day after his appointment. My dog's appointment included a bath, blow dry, ears and eyes cleaned, trimmed nails, and anal glands expressed. His haircut was horribly uneven and choppy. I am mortified and disgusted with the experience we had. The owner is very unprofessional. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG'S OR ANY AMANIMALS HERE!!!! Carlos my dog's groomer should be held responsible for my dog's injuries and fired!!! I will NEVER take my dog to the groomers ever again. I didn't believe anything the owner was saying, and she did not reassure me of anything. read more

We recently adopted a rescue puppy and I've been looking for a good daycare for him. I've taken him to two locations so far - Poshy Paws and Camp Bow Wow. His first day was at Poshy Paws. The staff was very nice and the facility was very clean (although the dogs looked bored). I was a little disconcerted when the only information they asked for was my phone number (didn't ask my name) and the dogs name. I'm new to doggy daycare so I didn't think much of it. However, when I tried to take him to Camp Bow Wow, I was required to fill out a 2 page form and provide immunization proof. They approved me but wouldn't allow him to attend as one of his immunizations had expired (I wasn't aware of that). I then realized that he was allowed to mingle with dogs for an entire day at Poshy Paws without proper immunizations and it makes me wonder how many other dogs are staying there without the required shots. With Parvo being very active right now, that's very concerning. I hope the staff reads this and takes the necessary steps to resolve this issue IMMEDIATELY read more
