On my most recent visit, the woman at the counter took my order and, when it was time to pay, asked for my phone number. I thought she was asking me about my rewards stamp card, so I responded, but she never acknowledged that my phone number had gone through. It turned out she was actually talking to another customer, leaving me standing there talking to myself. It felt inconsiderate and made for an awkward experience. The drinks are decent, but they're Herbalife-based products, so there's nothing particularly unique about them. Customer service and making guests feel welcome are what really set a place apart, and unfortunately that's been consistently lacking during my visits.

However, I open the door and walk in. The friendly staff told me they extended their hours recently, so I was good. I ordered the Meal Size Blueberry Pie ($10.50 plus tax), which was made to order promptly. I enjoyed my large protein shake which had a blend of milk, blueberries, vanilla protein, vanilla extract, spices and topped with low fat graham cracker crumbs. This creamy protein shake had a slightly thinner consistency than a traditional smoothie, with a good not too sweet flavor overall. I could not finish this shake immediately and gradually enjoyed it on my 90 minute drive back home. I would return here again for another protein shake, but a snack size shake would suffice for me.

My favorite smoothie is the Blueberry Pie; it's absolutely delicious, and the graham cracker topping ties it all together. If I could drink it every day, I would, but fair warning: the blueberries can leave your mouth grayish-purple, so maybe skip it if you have plans afterward. I also love the Strawberry Moon smoothie--the banana flavor isn't overpowering, which is a big plus. If you're into coconuts, my friend highly recommends the Maui Colada. As for sizing, the Bite Size feels like a medium to me, and it's more than enough. If you are looking for a place to chill with friends, this is the spot- there is plenty of space and they have a few board games too!
