I wanted a fresh tomato sauce that was tasteful and delicious. This almost seemed like sauce you'd put on top of a chicken parm or something and it was WAY too salty. Bleck. I just had 1 slice and that was enough. The bbq chicken pizza was just ok but kind of lacking flavor and it should come with onion but not worth $2.25 or $2.50 just to add onion as a topping. It's pricey here and honestly I tried this place once and that's enough. Hope they are able to improve a bit and make it work at this location. Apparently there wasn't enough regular bread available for a giant sub, so mine was basically pieced together like a bread jigsaw puzzle. The finishing touch was the bacon. I watched the employee move the nice pieces of bacon aside with his hand, then scoop up the crumbled bits from the bottom of the pan and dump those on my sandwich instead. Nothing says "$20+ giant sub" quite like getting the bacon equivalent of the crumbs at the bottom of a potato chip bag. I'm actually sitting in the parking lot writing this because I don't think I've ever gotten such a poorly made sandwich from this location. I was also impressed by the young ladies working the counter. They were friendly, welcoming, and constantly keeping busy cleaning, stocking, and taking care of the restaurant. When I order a North Shore beef, I'm hoping for that tender, juicy roast beef with some pink in the middle. Mine was cooked well done with no pink at all, which wasn't what I was expecting or hoping for. The sandwich wasn't bad, just not the North Shore beef experience I was looking for. That said, one visit isn't enough for me to write a place off.
