We saw a fly inside the bakery refrigerator and told the staff and was told that unfortunately their sliding door aren't the greatest to the flies get in ? Yikes I think for this price they should probably make the drinks and sandwiches something to truly remember but maybe we were paying for the ambiance? A staple, the avocado toast, has picked onions that compliment the egg, avocado and seasoning. The egg on top is helping us meet our protein goals. The latte always has a cute leaf, even when the serve it with a lid. My daughter and I come most weekends as a little family tradition to spend a little quality time together. There is a parking lot, big enough for about 12-14 cars, but also plenty of side street parking. When we walked in, the first word that came to mind was: cozy. It reminded me of an older classy living room (in the best way possible). There were a couple comfy couches, a coffee table, and a couple stools. Around the corner to the left, it looked like a group was using their multipurpose room for a baby shower. To the left is what appears to be a bar. They have part of their menu on a board, but they have the full menu laminated. The full menu has a little bit of everything including specials, iced coffee, teas and non coffees, and food. All of their menu items have a description of the main ingredients, or what to expect which is super helpful. I decided on getting their Juliana Guevera Japanese style cold brew since it was new it me. It was supposed to have notes of mixed berries, grapefruit honey, honey, and white tea. I was warned that it may take a little longer to make the cold brew which was fine since I was not in a rush. My mom and I claimed the corner couch and got comfortable. They brought the drinks out to us which was super nice. My mom's latte had a nice foam design. My cold brew was almost the color of black tea, so on the lighter end. It was brought out in a tea jar with a handle, a cup of ice, and a cup of carbonated water. The cold brew felt light, with a more subtle coffee flavor which I think was because of all the other flavors trying to come through. I did taste a little bit of the grapefruit honey notes. I liked that the tea came separate from the ice so it wouldn't water it down over time. I wasn't sure when to drink the carbonated water, so I had it in between and finished it in about 4 gulps. When we were done, we put our dishes in the dish basket. The staff was very kind, made sure we were satisfied, and made us feel welcome.
