The new location is great, just a couple doors down from their prior spot in the same plaza. It's light, bright and airy, though they do tend to have a long line that flows into the seating area. The menu is substantial and offers good options for vegetarians. The prices represent a great value. I enjoyed that that iced coffee is brewed with flavor, rather than just syrup. The process for getting drinks is fast, but by comparison it did take a long time for my breakfast sandwich to be ready, probably over 20 minutes. Whenever I'm visiting my friend in Attleboro area I have to come here for iced coffee. So many varieties of flavors! I also decided to get my daughter who is 2 a sprinkled donut and it DID NOT disappoint! We shared it and it was amazing not stale tasting like Dunkins. Coffee connection continues to pump out the best iced chai lattes. This was my first time coming to this location. The line was long, but speedy! I got a medium iced chai and the french toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese which was ok- putting that combination together made it too sweet, but that's my own fault. My fiancé opted for a sausage, egg & cheese on an onion bagel, he rated it a 10/10. I absolutely love their Nutella toast with bananas, totally affordable and delicious but $9.99 for a half a can of Red Bull and lemonade is beyond outrageous. I can't wrap my head around how a $3.00 can of Red Bull and some lemonade mix comes out to $10.00. That's by far the biggest rip off ever. What ticks me off even more is there are no prices on the menu boards so you don't realize you're getting ripped off until they tell you the price. This company should be ashamed. This is my go to coffee shop since moving to cumberland, but it's sooo busy on the weekends, has no drive thru, like 3 small tables, and no bathroom. Other than that I love coffee connection & all of their locations. The staff at this location are all very young, look like they just graduated high school, but they are sweeties. This location DOES have the acai and pitaya bowls.. some locations don't. The prices are $$, not cheap but worth it. The coffee is brewed in the bean and their sprinkle donuts are crazy big! Everything here is pretty good... the breakfast sandwiches, the pastries, the wraps, etc. The staff are always friendly, and the service is always good, I've never had a bad experience. I like the coffee, it's not mind blowing (although I never try the flavored ones they make), but it's definitely better than Dunkin Donuts. The donuts and cookies are awesome. And the chicken ceasar salad wraps are really good too, which I'll admit I was skeptical of at first. I love the bagels and the breakfast sandwiches, there's no way ANYONE can claim they skimp on your food. For the first time I may have to actually ask them to go easy on the cream cheese on my bagel, because they put on a lot. Same with their breakfast sandwiches (twice as much egg as the other places). The food is great but that's about it. I used to visit frequently but the service and wait time quality has plummeted to all-time lows. (Which I don't get because they've opened additional locations) I went in just before 8 this past week when the line was only three people deep. The wait time for an egg sandwich was just over twenty minutes. (This used to be ten minutes) I also went in a few weeks prior and ordered online. I went in a few minutes after my order was due. There was only an average of two people in line and 5-6 workers behind the counter. I had workers walk by me several times and not acknowledge me only to watch about ten people come in and get their orders in that time span (I probably waited an extra 15 minutes). I just felt so sad and put off that I was just ignored (I mean there were points where nobody was even in line and about 3 workers were just chatting it up a few feet away like I didn't exist) After tipping generously beforehand and seeing the service getting worse and worse, I'm done. I don't like handing out bad reviews but I feel compelled to send a message to whoever manages this location. (If they even care to read this) The workers are probably nice but I've never seen a worse and painfully slow day-to-day operations setup in my life. This is definitely the fault of management. I'm not even sure they care about their service levels now that they're able to open additional locations. read more

Came here this Sunday in search of a warm beverage, a hot bagel and a place to sit and get some school work done. I google searches places with WiFi, because my WiFi at home has been out since last week and I had work to do. Location: easy to find and plenty of parking right out front. Food: I ordered my go to: everything bagel with butter (thanks Casey). The bagel was nicely toasted and came out fast despite the long line. They have an extensive menu of both breakfast and lunch sandwiches that I am definitely interested in checking out in the future. Drinks: I opted for tap water instead of something hot and gladly paid the $.50 cup fee for the nice cup and straw. Had I been in the mood for coffee I would have had plenty of options and they all sounded wonderful. They even have smoothies. Atmosphere- this is where the 3 stars rating comes into play. This place is small and as such, even if you can normally cancel people out and work through distractions, this is not the place that allows that during a Sunday morning. I sat on the side and faced the door, was able to easily connect with the WiFi, but a group of five people pulled two tables together next to me and people had to squeeze by me to order. This is not a good place to use WiFi to get work done. Come for breakfast or a coffee and linger to chat, but not to work. I ended up leaving and driving to Briggs Nursery. read more

So the Coffee Connection is a small chain in Northern RI that offers smoothies, frozen coffees and tons of flavored coffees and lattes (sweet and unsweetened). This particular location fails to have a public restroom which is disappointing in a coffee shop where you spend some time. The second disappointment is the up charge for using a debit or credit card for under $10. Most merchant fees for credit card transactions do not cost 50 cents. Granted there are fees and expenses, but maybe increase prices by 5 cents all around? Something like this really disappoints me in this day and age. Today I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel. I was pleased it came with 2 eggs so I was able to split my sandwich with a friend. Yum! Their coffee products are delicious and staff was nice. Three stars is for no public restroom and up-charging on credit card transactions. read more

I've always been a fan of coffee connection! If you go to Cumberland High School you go to coffee connection. Their specialty coffee concoctions are the best, candy bar being my go to. They use to offer more in the way of decaf ice coffee but, it must not be a big seller because now they are sticking with one standard flavor. I enjoy a good maui madness when they have it. The chicken caesar wrap is delicious and always fresh. As far as muffins go corn is the way to go here. Although on Sundays if you don't get there early the muffin case looks like a ghost town. My only problem is last time I went there I ordered a decaf coffee and luckily I was watching her make it because she used regular coffee. I said excuse me it is suppose to be decaf very politely and she re-made the drink but, didn't even offer an apology or a smile. This place has a lot of flavored coffee's, brewed coffee's with flavor. Their bakery area is not very big. They have a variety of muffins in probably about seven different kinds of pastries. When I was there their pastries look like they were Already sold out. Staff was friendly. I got coffee there. I got pistachio coffee I didn't really taste pistachio. The woman asked if I want to cream or sugar. I am formed her I just wanted cream but I do think the cream was a little bit too heavy in the coffee. I finally tried this place after following them on insta for 6 months. I went to the Cumberland location around 7:30 am and it wasn't busy. You must try the Maui madness iced coffee!! I just wanted to stop in and update my review, and if anything I'm even more impressed! Since my last review we've extended our typical orders from just bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and other breakfast fare to venture into their lunch menus. The ice coffee here is still extremely flavorful and delicious with a consistently delivered level of sugar and cream (no variance from staff to staff) and the breakfast is still delicious and cheap! This review primarily just adds the fact that the lunch fare is impressively cheap and quite good for the cost. It tends to be pretty simple options, but they're done well and is offered for cheap! Original Review (All Still true): This place makes some pretty freaking amazing coffee! That being said their prices are reasonable, they offer some pretty decent baked goods and they're always friendly and efficient when we visit. The only problem with this place is it's too close to where we live! Every time I drive by I want to stop! I especially recommend the flavored ice coffee, it has great taste and you can't beat the price! If you're looking for breakfast in the go grab a bagel breakfast sandwich, the sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel is stellar. Fair warning, this place prefers cash and bumps the price up if you use a card without spending a certain amount. Even with the fee, you still get a great deal on scrumptious food. Portions are huge for the value and the service was friendly. I am not one to usually complain but im hoping this review can chnage the experience for someone else. I went in and ordered a French kiss iced coffee and an Italian wrap. The coffee was beyond watery and I had it remade 2 times before switching to another flavor which also came out auper watery and no flavor. At that point i accepted my coffee luck wasnt good that day. The wrap i got was not good either. The wrap itself was wet and slimy on the outside, there was no cheese, no tomatoes and way too much lettuce, like 90% lettuce. I put the wrap on a plate and the water pooled a puddle on my plate and soaked the wrap more! Definitely hoping for a better expierence as when i went to the north providence location everything was perfect and the opposite of my experience in cumberland. ​ read more

Now that I have inhaled my lunch and still have leftovers, I am ready to write a review......AMAZING! We ordered lunch in for the office today and instead of doing the same old stuff in the area we decided to try Coffee Connection since we all love the beverages and had seen the menu. The girl that took our phone order was super sweet and made sure everything we ordered was correct (you would be surprised at how many places rush you off the phone and get it wrong). Since we had a large order they were able to delivery it to us which seemed like 10 mins. but I know it was about 30 (even less then they said). Again, a different girl delivered the order and was so nice : ) So let's run down some of the things we ordered: -Chicken Kabob Wrap.....to die for! -BLT Wrap......bacon for days! -Pesto Chicken Sandwiches (a few of these)......juicy and tasty! -Thanksgiving Sandwich.......made you forget it wasn't November yet! -Hummus and Pita.......Words can not express "hummus" we loved it! Next time we plan to order some Acai Bowls which I hear are wonderful as well. But to sum it all up, we now have a New Lunch Place! was my second visit. The first time I got a large iced coffee with one of the many flavors (snickerdoodle) and a salad. The salad was quite large for the price and had an abundance of veggies. The coffee was absolutely delicious. I drank every sip and usually leave at least half of a coffee behind from the traditional chain coffee shops. This last time, I got a falafal wrap and the largest iced coffee that they sell. LOVED the coffee once again and even the wrap was pretty good. I will drive out of my way to stop back here the next time that I am in Rhode Island. I may even order 2 coffees. I also used Coffee Connection to cater a small office lunch (mainly because I wanted an excuse to get a cup of coffee). They had it ready to go at the designated time and the office enjoyed it greatly. I also bought beans to go so that I can enjoy their coffee at home. I thought this was a mistake and went in to talk to the mgr. she said they were rung up correctly that they were kneed donuts, when asked what are kneed donuts she said they are special to Providence. I asked which donuts are six for $6.99 she said that was a mistake on the website she took my phone number and said I would get a call. no call came and the donuts were so stale I tossed them out. not one sign posted had prices! read more
