Fun spot to trot to on a Saturday night when you just have no high expectations for anything more than drinks and food. We had our go to picks: wings and burger. The wings were fab, but the burger fell short of anything exciting. The place itself would be PERFECT to watch any sporting event, as the televisions were an abundance. Great food for what seems to be a "dive" bar. Definitely surprised when we walked in. Service was great, bartenders smiling and very friendly. I ordered their sliders (3) and tater tots, which was more than I could eat, ended up taking most of it home. Their portions are big! It's been a couple years since we have been here.... when it was good....and it's possibly better. We started with onion rings. They are beer battered, crispy, and delicious. They can come with ranch or Sedona Sauce (a littler heavy with vinegar.) My dad thoroughly enjoyed his patty melt. My wife got a Philly Cheesesteak. It was unusual because it was a patty but also it was great. I had the Nick burger. You won't regret it. My son enjoyed his pizza (I think they are frozen). It has a sweeter sauce and came with an appropriate amount of toppings. The cole slaw and fresh cut fries were solid. Service was spot on. My husband and I stop in here a couple times a month. It has plenty of seating at the bar if you're in the mood to sit at the bar -you can eat and drink there or sit at one of the many tables available. Family friendly. Not a quite place but the atmosphere is nice, people go there for their delicious burgers and home made friends, a few beers and maybe a few games on the slot machines. If you are looking for a really good burger, this is the place to go. My favorite is the Juicy Lucy. They have bacon burgers and burgers with a fried egg down to just your every day burger. I have been to this establishment a handful of times. Always a good experience. Went there last night to meet up with a couple of my former players and a coach that used to work with me. There were no bigger tables open, so I got a small table on the side of the bar. I dragged over a couple of chairs that no one was using while my former players were at the bar grabbing a drink so we could all sit together. Someone came by and grabbed my chairs without asking to bring them to another table next to me. I told the person that we were using them. They wanted to know who was using them. I pointed to the two guys at the bar. Then they started grabbing chairs and shuffled them around. After a minute I realized the person who did this was an employee. She never identified herself. Found this to be really rude. Not sure if they didn't like me doing this or not. It wasn't blocking the walking path for people. Would have moved them back if they weren't happy for some reason, but nothing was said about it. Kind of put a damper on a night I was catching up with these young men. Didn't feel too welcome after that. When done I moved the chairs back when a bigger table opened up. Got there at about 6 and left at about 8-8:30. Not sure if I'd give it another shot or not. After working around the house for most of the day, we felt like going local and getting something to eat. So we stopped by for some chicken wings and a steak sandwich. Not sure what happened to this place but one thing is for sure. If you try to let the owners know about poor treatment and bad service from one of their employees it will be met with disbelief and turned against you as if you are some sort of a liar. I know a few more people who have had problems with the owners and an employee as well. This just shows they are clueless and poor business people. See some of the other reviews here for similiar experiences. There are a few bad apples working here that will ruin your business one day. I am surprised they are still in business but with this approach it may not be too long. I can assure you that this place is no real loss to me and it appears to be the same to others as I notice the parking lot is much emptier than it used to be. Avoid. If you're not a regular, be prepared to be ignored by the disinterested help. Want a glass of water with your drink? Be prepared to wait...a long time. Want a grill menu? Be prepared to be totally ignored. The jukebox? It's programmed to play random garbage between the tunes that you pay for; obviously a ploy to get you to stay longer, waiting for your songs to play. Love that this is a corner bar. The food is typical bar food that's yummy. The atmosphere is relaxed. It's fun to visit to watch games.

I'm a little biased as this is my home bar. It's not a dive bar, it's a sports bar. Everything is very clean. There are so many flat screen hi def TVs you can always see any sport or game. If your game isn't on, the staff is always happy to put it on a tv of your choice. The home made burgers are great and on a special half price with hand cut fres fries on Mondays. Specials most days. My faves aside from the burgers are the hogie and the chicken and Swiss sandwiches. Bears games always have free half time food, and I love watching the Hawks there also. It's always a charged with energy and excitement experience. As for the negative review from Dave J., I was there and it was a very slow nite. The guy, that did not have nose rings(lol) did argue with Dave. I didn't hear what started it, but was never loud. Dave J. could have moved anywhere in the bar or seating area as it was not crowded, but instead decided to stiff the bartender for his food and drinks. Bad form Dave! Asked the blonde bartender for a replacement after having 3 people tried my drink to see if they tasted alcohol and they all agreed and said it was just soda water got a rude no but offered to pour me a double for 3 dollars more. Don't waste your time total rip off. 4 other people got plain pops with no alcohol as well. Don't waste your money too many bars in the area that will actually serve you what you ordered and won't rip you off selling you an "alcoholic drink". The beer is cold and pretty cheap, but that's not the issue at this place. The issue I have with this bar is in the management who have revealed themselves to be ignorant and entirely racist. Out for an after dinner drink and some pool with a buddy on a dead Sunday night we put some money in the jukebox and happened to play ONE tasteful hip hop song and the bartender walked over to me and said verbatim, "don't play any of that 'wigger isht' in here ever again". When the other 4 songs were classic rock and soul I'm not sure what warranted such a response, but I know for sure I won't be spending any more money in this place. This was a real surprise for me. I've seen the signs and knew it existed in a beat up, shabby looking strip mall. But I thought it was going to be the kind of dive bar that I don't go to. You know, the one that's dark, smells like a musty basement & the only people are a handful of drunk guys that are on the neighborhood sex offender list. Nope, this is the kind of dive bar that I like. What's the difference you ask? For starters it has to have a few craft beer choices & not just Miller or Bud products. This isn't really a place to hang for the night, but more of a place to stop for one or two. There is a small patio for smokers & outdoor eating. Great local sports bar. Friendly staff, daily drink specials and good food make this a nice place to hang out on a relaxed night. You are not going to dance here. Excellent service, excellent atmosphere. I really enjoy this place every time I go. And oh yes the food.... VERY extensive menu with alot of variety - they will serve baked beans or homemade potato salad with your burger. Those burgers are HUGE too!
