One other issue I would like to mention is that if your driving here don't drink alcohol. The Mokena police built there new station right next door. My friend had only 4 beers and received a DUI pulling out of there at closing.. We saw a promo for a show featuring a Van Halen Tribute band and paid $300 in cash to get at table 100 ft from the stage for 6... I drove to the venue 1 month before the show to pay $300 in cash to get out ideal table. They gladly took my money. Fast forward to tonight, Saturday, February 21st. We show up at 7:30pm only to find out our table was occupied! Management did nothing. They offered a table practically on the stage. The sound was so loud it made our ears bleed! The opening act, a Ratt Tribute Band, was HORRIBLE... TOO LOUD, TOO DISTORTED... OUT OF TUNE. By the time the Van Halen Tribute Band started, we were irritated and left. Jamos Live is a JOKE. I've come here several times. Twice for line dancing and some weekends. The bar area can be overwhelming with the televisions. But they have ton of beers and alcohol for your choosing. Bartenders have always been nice and attentive. So good drinks, good service, and good music is basically all you need in a SW suburban bar. read more

The server Emily is top tier! There was absolutely no where for us to sit and she got us situated with food so quick anyways. This is like a small little club. Absolutely packed. Food was so amazingly good had the pretzel it was the size of me. The buffalo chicken Mac and the bacon burger. Came here for Blackened (Metallica Cover band). Megan - server was very attentive. We got the big pretzel as an app. Was decent. Bartenders made a good Long Island any the hubby enjoyed the gum ball head on draft. The sound seemed a little off but we were sitting kinda in the far back. Such a fun time! Very clean and the waiters were so attentive! The food was great and the live music was so fun! Me and my family decided to give this place a try a few weeks ago. All I can say is wow. It's dirty, loud, empty, and bound to fail. The peak of my dinner was the show that went with it - a man who I believe is the manager (bald head with a gym teacher build) kept pulling the hair of the servers around him who I felt were doing a great job. He also felt the need to slap another waitress across the face - it was absolutely appalling. If they treat their servers like this with the doors open I can't imagine what happens when they are closed. I also noted black specs floating around my drink - I feel it may be mold. Would love to know what the ice containers look like. Overall, the only thing I took home from dinner was depression and a dose of fragile masculinity. I would definitely recommend going quite literally anywhere else. This restaurant doesn't deserve your time or money! read more

Arrived yesterday evening with my wife to have dinner. We weren't greeted nor were we directed to seating / especially handicapped seating as I am in a wheelchair. Apparently attention is only given to the regulars as they were grouped together around the bar. What was surprising is as I went out to the parking lot to get in my vehicle, I had slipped out of my wheelchair onto their parking lot where there was zero assistance offered to help my wife. I've heard poor reviews but thought it would be different for me but it wasn't. I assume disabled customers aren't welcome. read more

We went in during a Bears game so it was busy for a Thursday night. Drinks are reasonable, staff is friendly. We were surprised the kitchen was closed so early so we only stayed for one drink. The only thing we didn't like was the karaoke, it was terrible. 3 songs and we were out. Also be aware there is an additional charge for not using cash. read more

It needs to be known that this establishment employs verbally and physically abusive bouncers toward women. The owner allows male staff members to enter the women's bathroom under false pretenses, such as helping a girl who felt sick. One bouncer stood at the doorway of the women's bathroom berating girls for applying makeup. Once women confronted him about this, he became verbally and physically abusive (aggressively pulling women's arms to get them out and calling them "stupid") while the owner stood outside the doorway and allowed the abuse to continue. Do not go to this establishment. as well, the entire staff wore "We Stand for the Flag and Kneel to the Cross" t-shirts, which was particularly disturbing. read more

Went on Thursday which is burger night. 6 and 8 dollar burgers and fries. Very good. We also had the shrimp and cheese curds. Everything was hot off of the grill. Server was great. We haven't been there much but will put this in our rotation. read more

I can only comment on their takeout. They have excellent grilled wings and some other solid appetizers. However, their prices are a bit absurd for being in the suburbs and mostly bar food. read more

Wishing I could give 0 stars. The only positive was that our waitress was great! She was always checking on us and had our orders out quick. The live music was great, too! The negatives: Charges an up charge for using a credit/debit card... ridiculous, especially because the food is pretty pricey. (Be ready to spend a lot of money) The owner/manager is very rude and inappropriate to customers and staff. Just be cautious and stay away. We wish we just chose a different bar. First time i went here bouncer hearded folk out like cattle without calling a last call. Sorry we were unsure when you're closing because you served us literally 3 minutes prior. Next time i went, we spent our money to see a band playing, we arrived the band just finished and they still were taking money for incoming patrons. I understand paying cover for a band thats playing but i refuse to pay to see a band thats finished and policy dictates that they take cover until 1 am even if the band only plays till 11 pm. The bouncers were understanding, the management were straight up chode mongers. Will tell all I know- this place is not worth your time and money. This place is horrible. I'm designated driver. They don't have coffee. Bouncers won't let me get a cup from next door. I understand there are rules but this is a time to break the rule and let someone in with a cup of coffee when they didn't revive their coffee order. We also ordered nachos.
