I'm pretty sure Tom is an angel sent to guide us through cardboard shipping hell. I had to ship out two urgent international document mailers, and after running a list of prices and dates by me, Tom repackaged my things into smaller mailers to cut down the cost. He even went so far as to make copies of the address labels and reapplied them to the new mailers for me, and he also cut up a spare cardboard mailer to use it as reinforcement. On top of all that, he put up with all my fuss about everything "looking presentable" with the serenest grace. Maybe he could tell I was a ball of stress when I walked in, but having him take care of everything for me was such a relief. There's something just really zen about him that gives you peace of mind, you know? I work nearby in the plaza but live about a half hour away, and I'm pretty sure I'd still make the drive out here just to use Tom's services again rather than deal with all the same tired, grouchy people at UPS or FedEx. read more

He was very casual about opening times, so I found myself locked out more than once. By contrast, Tom, the new owner, was great and helpful. My father had a mailbox here for years, and the previous owner, Robert Ha, was always very friendly and courteous to both my father and me. My father recently passed, and Mr. Ha and I had a nice conversation about him on Mr. Ha's last day as owner. This kind of personal recognition and service seems to be very rare, and I wish Mr. Ha and his family all the best going forward. I was initially concerned when Mr. Ha told me that he would no longer be the owner. However, I'm already impressed with the new owner, Tom Ma. Although I'd only met him once (a couple of weeks ago), he remembered me when I came to the store on Saturday to ship some documents. He was very helpful and processed my order quickly. terrible service, came here to get a life scan and they told me that i had to pay 75 dollars and would get a 25 dollar fee covered by the school i worked for. i called around and i was told that it's actually reversed. i would only have to pay 25 dollars and they cover the 75. i came back in and the man had his head so far up his ass that he denied that he was wrong and insisted i have to pay the 75 dollars. as i walked out he was smirking at me. terrible service and gave me the completely wrong information and now i have to drive twice as far to get my life scan done. Worst customer service ever! Aside from not even a smile, getting up from the chair, or saying hello I was rudely asked 'what you want?'- and when I replied oh I just need to ship a box back to Amazon the man finally gets up and throws me a tag for my box. Then I respond 'now what?' he says 'oh you're going to have to tape it yourself as well....We don't provide tape here.' All would be good if it was just some clear instruction and a simple hello but I will never step foot inside of this place again, and I hope no one else has to go through the same experience.
