My husband and I visited LA recently and did a little bit more shopping than anticipated - a good 15+ lbs of vinyl records, some clothing and trinkets. Rather than lug our new stuff around for the rest of our trip, we decided to ship everything back to NYC. We found Linda and her shop on Yelp and decided to check her out. Linda was kind, helpful and got our stuff packed up and on it's way quickly. Those records were heavy items to ship, so she only charged us for the materials and the shipping fee itself to save us some dough, which was very kind of her. She smartly had me snap a photo of the box and label -- I've been tracking it and should have it today or tomorrow and expect all should go to plan. EXCELLENT service. Absolutely recommend this business if you are in the area and need their services (they also do gift wrapping and probably even more stuff from the looks of it!) ***note they have moved but the Yelp page here isn't updated. Literally go anywhere else but here. They have the worst customer service. They called my mom old and she's not old. She was so condescending, but they couldn't even figure out how to use the telephones. There was an echo because she needs a husband and he was listening in on the other telephone. It was so unprofessional, and weird. I highly recommend trying any place but here. The lady was absolutely rude and disgusting in her behavior, dare I say vile. Hours listed on the door are not accurate. They have my overnight package and I drove a long way to fetch it. I called the emergency number on the door and guess what???? This is absolutely the best shipping and post office box place in Pasadena! Most postal box rentals won't receive or sign for FedEx or UPS deliveries for you but Post & Package on Green Street will!! They are a small family owned business that offers concierge services unlike no other. They helped me receive orders when I was out of the country, and they offer gorgeous gift wrapping services! Their yearly rate for their boxes are so affordable and reasonable, especially considering you get so much personalized service. It always brightens my day stopping in and seeing Linda and Clyve when sending shipments or to pick up a delivery. If I receive a package, they call and leave a voicemail immediately. I am all about supporting small business, but I also am a strong believer of great customer service which is what I did not receive when I stopped by. The lady who attended me was super short, didn't seem to want to mail my stuff when I was asking some questions about pricing, and turned her back to continue wrapping items when I was deciding what postal service to use. I was going to mail the items but when she turned her back and didn't acknowledge me I decided to go somewhere else. She also quoted me prices way beyond what the local post office charges. I would like to rave about this place but I cannot. They are friendly up to the point where they get your business. After they have you as a customer for a while their "real" soul comes through. I'm always in a rush when I go and pick up or deliver packages there. The lady who runs the place there was very warm and honey silk over the phone with me in order to acquire my business, and then one day she yelled at me because I interrupted her in the middle of a conversation with someone on the phone. Actually, I didn't interrupt HER, I was talking to her assistant asking him about a certified mail issue and she interrupted her OWN conversation to yell at me to give me the answer to my question. Charged me $7.50 for a used box and then $50 to ship UPS. UPS website quoted the exact same package at $42. Charged $1.75 per $100 for insurance when UPS actually charges $0.90 per $100 Extraordinarily slow service too. Will not be going back! read more

From making sure to deposit a check that had come in for me while i was out of town to having her sons come out and help me move. I receive on average 4-5 packages per week here and upwards of a dozen some weeks because my apartment location has been known to have people walk off with my packages that the USPS are too lazy to bring up to my door on the 3rd floor...They ALWAYS text me or my roommate when the packages arrive and keep them safe.
