This is a very convenient location for me. I live less than a half a mile away from McHenry Village. This is located on the Briggsmore side easy access in and out. Between needing to mail things, Amazon returns, prepaid UPS etc. this is a great go to place to be able to just run and get things done quickly. I've done everything from ship priority mail here to returning a Comcast box today. Never a bad line, and they follow Covid safety protocols. I was in a hurry and had to drop off a pre-paid package. I packed my return in one of their envelopes which was .99 cents. While I prepared my package someone else got in line in front of me and was having a hard time communicating exactly what he wanted. The girl helping him asked if I just needed to drop my package off, I said yes but I needed to pay for my envelope. She said that's ok I could have a free. It was great customer service. One small gripe (not with the business, mind you) - most mapping tools/apps do a horrendous job of accurately placing the location of the business. Today I went to postal connections on McHenry Avenue and Briggsmore hi they charged me $50 for 25 color copies and I brought my own paper. My wife called FedEx office in Plaza Parkway, they charge $.17 when you bring your own paper. read more

The lady helped me and was fast and efficient!! The only downside is that it's on the edge of the plaza and it took me FOREVER to find it. But It's basically on the other side, behind sprouts all the way towards the edge. I'm not sure that makes sense but I was helped quickly, which was great. read more

My mom dropped of a package for me. It was supposed to arrive Tuesday April 14th. Never arrived. Fedex says package was never received. System only showed label being created and no driver scan for pick up. My mom called store to see if package was there today. Man on phone tells my mom fedex picked up package and its not their problem. Update: Fedex says they are not responsible either, if driver picked it up store received a confirmation number, and i should call to request it. I asked, if this is your shipping partner, and you both say you don't have package, shouldn't you call them to request confirmation number? I was told they are not authorized to call shipping centers. Lol. Ok? So my package is gone, i paid more than $20 to ship it, and i am out all of it as no one is responsible? Beware! read more

Every time I come into this office there is a little tiny lady that works here and she is amazing! The management leaves just her here alone always and she does 2000 things at once. Not only a ton of things done at once she says hi to everyone and thanks them when they leave. What a gem! read more

They overcharge for first class packages claimed if it's not a thin as and envelope it's not first class over charged by 5 bucks says there were "trained that way" don't do business here if you don't want to be overcharged just take it to the post office who actually know what there doing. read more

I've been here so many times, so this experience is so disappointing! I went in there to send a first class package, knowing I'd be paying a bit more than the post office prices. Fine. It was $5.75, which was $3 more. Fine. Then I walked away and asked where the tracking information was. They do not include tracking information on their packages, which is crazy, especially because you can mail items elsewhere and tracking is always included. So I asked how much more tracking would be. FIVE DOLLARS more. So, I said, no. Please give me a refund. $10.75 to mail out a first class package with tracking, compared to less than $3. I'll go to the post office. The clerk said my transaction was voided and there wouldn't be a charge. And here's the kicker... I was STILL charged. For a package. That they never mailed. They took great care in packing an antique lamp I was sending to WI for my mom. The package made it on the day they said it would in perfect condition. Sender beware! This place will overcharge you approximately 75% more than if you go to the UPS shipping center directly. I shipped a package just slightly over 3 pounds, and granted it was a large box, but again, still just over 3 pounds and they charged me almost $27.00. I thought maybe I was being charged more because it was a boot box but when I called and spoke with the clerk and asked her if that was normal to overcharge people, she explained to me "uh, yeah". So in this tight economy save your Washington's and go about 2 miles to the actual wonderful UPS! read more
