Without realizing it, my passport had expired, so my dad recommended that I get it renewed at Postal Etc. My parents always came here for their passport and visa needs, and the manager Connie Ngo took excellent care of them. When I called to confirm if she was still doing passports, Connie was very pleasant on the phone. She gave me a few pointers on what to wear. Since the background of the photo will be white, she suggested that I wear something colorful so my photo won't look washed out. She also mentioned that she accepted cash, checks, and money orders. Credit cards were also accepted, but there was a 3% surcharge. It was nice that she told me this information upfront, because I typically do no carry a lot of cash and I certainly do not bring my checkbook with me when I go out. I would have incurred a 3% surcharge on my credit card had she not disclosed this information upfront. Upon arrival, Connie warmly greeted me and gave me a form to complete for my passport renewal, then proceeded to take my photo. After that, she verified my form was completed and asked if I will be getting a passport book only, or passport with a passport card (government ID). She explained the benefits of getting this ID card, so I decided to get it for $45 extra. She also explained that in 8-11 weeks, I will receive 3 separate items in the mail: my old passport with holes punched it to make it invalid, my new passport book, and my passport ID card. I made out 2 checks: US Dept of State: $160 (passport book & passport ID card) Postal Etc: $65.06 (service fee, including passport photos) Connie mentioned that if I travel to countries that require a visa, she can help get that prepared and she can be a resource to confirm if a country needs a visa. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. I came at a busy time and Connie was basically running the show herself. She had a high school kid help out, but he was practically useless. She had to give him orders on the simplest of tasks, but he still wasn't able to do it right, so she had to step in. If you come and don't get Connie's undivided attention, have patience. She's doing her best to tend to all customers and keep things moving. She's a direct and no-nonsense kind of lady, and this attitude may come off as rude, but I didn't find her rude. There was a customer who was pumping the liquid hand sanitizer and made a mess on her counter, so she told him "it's liquid, not gel, so take it easy on the pumping and don't leave a mess." Despite the busy crowd, the service was quick. Including driving time to and from the store, I was done within my 1 hour lunch break. This store has all kinds of other services, including mailbox rentals, prints, scans, copies, fax, money orders, mail services, mailing supplies, custom packaging, notary, keys, greeting cards, snacks, etc. There are plenty of parking spaces in the shopping center, with reserved spots specifically for this store. read more

Terrible customer service from the woman who works here. I had a simple fedex drop off with prepaid label. She told me she couldn't scan the QR code from my phone and told me to get a different label and print it. Took me over to the printer and took my phone from me to "help me print it". She stuck it on and then proceeds to tell me I have to pay. I was very confused because I've never had to pay at one of these postal places. She never told me I had to pay for the printing and pay for dropping here. She also refused to give me a receipt. Overall horrible experience and rude woman here. She seems like a real dishonest scam artist. read more

We needed some documents notarized for my mother who is bedbound. I searched for places with notaries and asked if. They could come to the car to notarized because of my mom's inability to easily transfer in and out of the car. That day it was raining hard and Connie offered to come to the house instead so my mom would not have to leave the house. Connie was so helpful by being mobile and being so thoughtful about my mom's condition. She notarized two documents and even helped with a witness signature. Awful place! The Asian lady that works there ALWAYS tries to refuse UPS drop offs. She will either say UPS already picked up or they she can't take anymore packages. Just came here to send a small package because I was in the area and was shocked on the price being so high! I don't usually ship stuff but it seemed high to me and asked why. I was told this is the cheapest you can get anywhere. I wanted to make sure so I declined and went to USPS right next door and it was almost HALF the price! This is my first review, I had to sign up to ensure Connie's efforts should be appreciated. I can't say enough for this lady, Connie, the owner of this not just postal services but I would say All-in-One store, is an amazing person. Once I had to send some urgent Passport documents and I reached late evening when she was about to close the store, after seeing me she not only opened the store but also, stayed almost 2 hours to help me get all my documents attested, got me some free print outs and also gave huge discount with attestation and Fedex shipping. During this tough times of COVID and with what I was going through she not only understood my situation but also offered to go extra mile and stayed late and helped me out with comforting words. She is an absolute angel, her store offers NOTARY, Passport, all shipping, printouts, scanner and many other services. Amazing thing is she is very knowledgeable, she knows which country takes what kind of color ink, what kind of NOTARY like single page or all pages etc.... I always use this facility for my mailing and notary services. Connie Ngo is the manager. Not sure if she is also the franchise owner, but she is always on duty every time I go into the facility. She is always very helpful. On one visit I needed to have some legal documents notarized and mailed back in a return envelope provided by the servicing law firm. The documents would not fit in the envelope. Ms. Ngo said, "Don't worry about it. I will find an envelope and make sure it is sent off in the next batch of mail." Great FedEx rates but customer service is a hit or miss. When the young employee is present along with the owner, she's rather lost and seems confused. The owner on a good day is helpful and accommodating. I've come in on a bad day and was turned away from dropping off packages for UPS, or when she's got people waiting, she can be very rude. I've been coming here for over 7 years now and I will probably just go to an actual UPS/FedEx store for drop-offs. Her rates are really unbeatable when you use FedEx to ship stuff out but I just hate the inconsistency in customer service. read more

Just to get this out of the way: I haven't done any shipping related work here. With that being said, I came here to get my passport photo taken. I came in and out with it maybe taking 8 minutes tops. The photos were excellent and I was able to take them across the street to the Post Office with no hassle. The lady that worked there (she was the only one at the time) was very clear and easy to work with. I really recommend this place for all passport work since she has a lot of experience doing it! I was doing a notarization for a client and the person who prepared the documents misspelled the signers name on one of the pages. We had to get it fixed and signed right away. The owner was courteous and stayed open while I drove over and printed out the page. She only charged me a dollar to use the computer and for the printed page. She was a huge help and very friendly. Best place to ship packages! Connie does rate shop automatically for all her customers and will advise based on your requirements which freight company to use! She is such a sweetheart too and always have a smile. For those that has UPS drop off, she does advise people that UPS only picks up every few days. So if they need something picked up ASAP, they should drop it off at the UPS store. I think that's good customer service instead of having people think their package is in transit! The passport photos are not good meaning they don't tell you if you are looking straight at the camera or not, if you want to have more than 2 photos they won't be the same since for each two photo they take a new shot. However, they say very good things about the quality of their photos which is worth less if they don't know how to take one! Also they won't show you your picture prior to printing. Finally, the woman who was working there was disrespectful. And in general I would not suggest this place to anyone at least not for passport pictures. read more

Don't go in here, they are super shady and the lady behind the counter has the worst attitude and is amazingly rude which is unbelievable how they are still in business. Dropping off amazon returns and asked if they take them she yelled and said yes, I was taken back and put the packages in the table and asked for a receipt, to my surprise she said we don't give you a receipt, really? I left with my packages asking her why she was so rude and she started yelling, words were exchanged and I filed a complain with the BBB and Amazon. Amazon stated anyone that doesn't give out a receipt is not to be trusted. read more

I only go to Connie. she is a notary, handles passports, has p.o. boxes, fax, printer and packaging supplies + more. She helps with finding me the cheapest way to ship my items whenever I come in to see her. I do not like dealing with the lines at the post office or the location of where it is in Mira Mesa, right across from her location, so I prefer using the postal, etc. location. Connie is always friendly and helpful and I would recommend her every time over going to the post office or anyone else. read more

The sign says they open at 900am on Monday but its 935am and they are still closed. Not a good impression to customers. I want to give 1 star but giving them the benefit of the doubt. Terrible Service, think twice or thrice before going to this shop for notarizing a document. However I don't know about their other service. So can't comment on that. Looking at the 5 stars other reviewers have given, I went to this local shop for notarization but I really got fleeced by the lady in the shop. So I request others who go to this store to be careful while dealing with the lady in the store. When I called the store over the phone for notarizing a document she told they charge for a document, but eventually after things are done, I was charged for each signature on the page. In short for a total of 4 pages I am charged $78. I felt cheated in the end. I have never received such a bad treatment anywhere else. I felt very bad, so I request everyone to be beware of this shop. For the kind of treatment I got I don't want to give even that single star. read more
