So frustrated. The sign says the store opens at 8:30, but apparently, that's just a suggestion. I've stood outside multiple times, waiting over 30 minutes, only to find the store still locked up tight. If you're not going to open at the time you've posted, just say so. Update your hours to reflect reality--it's not rocket science; it's basic courtesy. Side note: When the store finally opens, the service is great. I have used this UPS store from 2006 - 2026. I literally have been there 100's of times throughout these last 20 years. Every time I have been there, the manager and workers have been efficient, polite and professional. Only once in all of those years have I seen any "impolite" moment. Believe me, I have also seen 100's of interactions between the manager, employees and their customers. Each time, the customers were given EXCELLENT service. I acknowledge that the people who have written negative reviews can have their valid points - BUT I want people to know that those were only a FEW people who have written negative comments - while the 100's I have witnessed in person throughout the years were treated courteously, efficiently and professionally. I rarely write negative reviews, but I've had too many terrible experiences at this UPS location not to warn others. It's disappointing because it's the closest one to me. While the other employees are pleasant and helpful, the man I have been told is the manager (tall with a ponytail) is consistently rude and condescending -- treating customers as if they're an inconvenience. I've experienced it personally and witnessed him berate others to the point that I once took a customer outside to tell him where he could get better service. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Postal Annex, the UPS on 7th St. in Novato, or the one in Terra Linda instead. read more

Advice: go down the street to the Postal Annex. Every time I've made the mistake of going here I've encountered surly, slow, unpleasant staff. Most recently a large, lumbering fellow managed to slowly walk over to the counter and did me the HUGE favor of taking my package, and then went to the TROUBLE of printing a receipt. Go elsewhere. Terrible experience. The employee at the Ignacio Blvd store was unpleasant to the point of being abusive. Very poor people skills and easily stressed just doing his job. He seemed like he didn't want my business and did all he could to drive me away. I dropped off a package on Saturday March 5, and paid $191 for 2-day shipping. The man at the store that I dealt with said that because I was dropping it off on Saturday, it would not be delivered until Tuesday. I reluctantly agreed. It is passed EOBD on Tuesday March 8, and I called UPS 800 number to get the status of the delivery. I was told that it would be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday May 9. All rationalizations notwithstanding, that is 5 days from when I dropped it off, and a day later than I was told at the store, and a cost of almost $200. To me, this is blatant incompetance. I will not be using UPS to send anything in the future. read more

My best advice is to go to the Postal Annex only a block away- it's a totally different experience. Clearly some mixed reviews here - service obviously varies depending on who you deal with and when. I had some documents notarized and the guy seemed miserable, sighed every time he finished one and lacked the social skills to make basic conversation during the painful 15 minutes it took to stamp and log his entries (crickets....). read more

Horrible place ... first person in line when I walked in and they have now helped 10 others while I stand and wait for a simple receipt of Comcast equipment. The lady has tried (as I remind her to not forgot about me) but the gentleman who needs to help her complete it has been extremely unfriendly and impatient. Now I stand being the only person here with still no resolution. Probably best not to use this place as a Comcast equipment drop off. Going on 30 minutes now, maybe there is a better alternative. read more

Five stars from us. We ship items from here frequently, and they're always fast and efficient (within constraints of how many customers they have) - plus they're friendly. In this day and age, it's hard to get good help around here - add in COVID, and good help is going to even be harder to find. But we're impressed. We don't have a mailbox here so can't talk to that element. At the same time, we've come in with all kinds of stuff - returns, non-US shipments, massive items - and everything has been handled professionally. read more

The poor boy that is new was actually very nice and I do feel bad for him to work in a such environment where his colleague "guy with long hair" don't know his name was so rude to me, seriously they need to train better their new employees. Came here Monday July 9, 2018 @ about 6pm. There were two men working inside. They were great and super kind. They helped me to tape up my boxes and somehow one of my labels disappeared while I was there. I have no idea how and I swear on Christmas I brought it in. I was helped to get another one printed, labeled the box and off it was shipped. Their internet kept going on and off but they tried to fix it so I could print my label. She was patient, kind and accommodating and went above and beyond what I expected from someone at a "corporate store." I called yesterday for the notary who wasn't available when I could come during store hours. I was told a notary would be available between 10:30am and 6:30pm today. I went to the store at 3:30pm today and I was told the notary was gone for the day. I found an adjacent business whose notary is always available during store hours. read more

One of the female employees is rude. She told us that she'd rather us come there in the morning than the afternoon. We frequently require documents notarized or fingerprinting . I'm sorry, but we're small business owner's and have to go by our own schedule, not her schedule. 9/28 - Placed a basic online order for pick-up at this store 9/30 - Order being processed 10/5 - Called store to get update..."it's not here" says knowledgeable rep 10/10 - Called the 1-888 support number to track order 10/10 - Received email "Order cancelled". Apparently, the manager didn't have the paper size or stock requested in the order and just thought "who cares?" So...It took them 12 days to even look for the paper to start the job? I love this location! Since I work from my home office, I am constantly having to ship items via UPS and I have been to many of these places.... Well this one is my favorite and it is because of two reasons.... The Staff and how clean and organized this store is. I have been to a few of these so called shipping stores having to ship via international and a few of these boneheads didn't know how to do that.... UNTIL I ran across this UPS Store. Maitexa and Brian were so helpful to me, they actually educated me as to how I need to ship my packages to Asia. Since I live in SF, I just plan ahead and bring all my packages to this UPS store in Novato where I actually have parking which is also a plus. Go and check them out! read more

I have had a mailbox at this store for 12 years and wasn't completely happy, but the location was convenient for me and decided to keep using it. But today, I had an awful experience there. My package was delivered to my mailbox, but the girl who works there said it wasn't and it unfortunate for me. I was frustrated and went after the delivery company and they confirmed that my package was delivered at the UPS store at Pacheco Plaza. I went back again and the manager, Doug, found my package siting on chair. I said I was annoyed with the situation because I had to track it down, when it was there the whole time. So, Doug grabbed the box from my hands and placed it on the floor to show me where the delivery people usually leave the packages and nobody saw it. At this point, I raised my voice at him and he refused to hand me my package. As I grabbed it from the floor, he called me "f... crazy lady" in front of everyone at the store. I was never so offended in my life! I never called him any names during the discussion! How dare him treat a customer like that? I'm outraged and will be taking my business elsewhere. I wish I had a better experience to report but unfortunately this business has gone downhill ever since the new manager Doug took over. While making an Amazon return I was told by a young man, tall with red hair, that he had a box I could "have." I took him at his word as over the years, in good faith, I also have brought them many boxes in good shape to reuse etc. While checking out I was charged for the box and also for 1 hour of computer time, unbeknownst to me. At this point it was too late to return the box as it has been sealed and was considered "used." The problem here is 1.) The employee did not inform me of ANY charges during entire transition and instead handed me a bill at the end, and 2.) The manager Dougs response (The next day when I came back to reconcile) was that he was out of box and could do nothing about it. 3.) The attitude, body language and unwillingness to provide any type of customer service was unacceptable. read more

UPS lost the letter I called to see about tracking on it on Wednesday evening and Kareem tried calling but was unable to get any info. He told me to call customer service in am. I had to call three times to get this far. I called customer service and it gave a recorded message to contact the store. I called again and Maria called UPS who started an investigation into my lost letter. Kareem called me later and told me he couldn't help since I started the investigation with UPS When is it the customer's fault? He said he told me to call and he had witnesses etc. He blamed me!!! I shipped a box of fruits by ups ground 9 days ago and it was delivered late by 3 days than expected. The fruit is half rotten. I called ups and they said a local ups representative would call me and it never happened. I tried to file a claim online and was impossible to complete one. Stopped by the store and they said ups will not refund during pandemic. So if you are trying to ship something perishable, beware of the damage it may cost you. read more
