Monday, 11-11-2024: After my doctor's appointment nearby, I came here to drop off six Lexmark laser printer cartridges from work for recycling. I was greeted nicely and given a warm welcome by one of the associates as I entered. After scanning all the packages they took it back and promptly gave me a receipt. This postal annex is really cute and organized. They offer many fun items for sale. On display to the right of the cash register were some mini novelty clocks. I purchased a golf themed clock for my husband for Christmas. I plan on returning and buying two more clocks: an excavator and a medical one. I was given a coupon upon purchase so I saved some money. Although this is some distance from my home I wouldn't hesitate to return here for their novelty items and exceptional customer service. read more

I think knowing your job better. Machine's not working code's not working. I sent them a very personal email not once but twice because he lost the first one and then they couldn't print it out for me. It's paperwork they don't need that's very personal to me that they couldn't fix. It was hot in there and I waited around. I went there twice. Yeah I would not recommend personally for services if you want to mail something fine but anything else they need to be retrained are better equipment. They shouldn't have had me send the email twice then it's a very very important email and I hope they deleted it like I asked them those information on there. No one should have that's why I'm so upset any other time I go in there people are nice, but this was very upsetting to me today. read more

LIFESAVERS! I called yesterday to check if they had a notary on site this weekend since I need to travel internationally Sunday for my grandmothers services and need my husband to give me a notarized consent form to travel with our toddler. I was relieved when Joe advised me they ALWAYS have a notary on site. Joe and Aaron both assisted us with documents that needed to be printed and Aaron notarized our travel consent form. They were both very friendly and willing to answer our questions. Process was fast and fees were very reasonable. I look forward to using their services again in the future. read more

Decided to take my business to a local postal annex to send out a golf club to get worked on. WORST DECISION EVER! I was charged $153 to send ONE CLUB that weighed less than 3lbs to Oregon!!! I asked why it's $121 for GROUND STANDARD FEDEX and was answered by "thats our pricing and all postal annex can charge differently". Updated review: I'm not sure who I spoke with, but I received a call tonight about my package and they basically took care of the situation with Fed Ex for me and got me a refund. I wish I could review the Fed Ex person, because he was completely unhelpful and blamed this company for my package being taken out of state when it was their own mistake. I really appreciate how far the Postal Annex went to fix this situation for me and appreciate all the follow ups. I apologize for being so angry. It's kind of like death by a thousand paper cuts thing and this was the last paper cut. I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism as well as going all out for their customer and will continue to take my business to them, although I am really wary of Fed Ex now. Edited: I called your location and no management was in today. I just really need to know who was responsible so that I no longer do business with them. I'm pissed. I went last Saturday to send a package to someone that lives maybe 50 miles from me, in the same state. I paid for it to get delivered by Tuesday. I check the tracking information and my package was taken out of state and further across the country! Now I'm told that my package won't get to the destination until next week. This location has limited cell service but does have Wi-Fi Incase you need it, otherwise make sure you come with everything pre-printed. Also, if you do the UPS no label return from Amazon, keep in mind Amazon made a deal with UPS so that option only works at a UPS Store. This location is very conveniently located near Chipotle, Starbucks, Target, etc. and makes running errands easy cause you can get almost all your stuff done in one shopping center. I originally posted an undeserving three star review for this location but I believe that was the 108 degree weather not allowing me to think straight. I've been mailing packages for years through all sorts of places but this is the first time I've ever experienced a place that refused to give a receipt when dropping off a package. They flat out said "we don't provide receipts for drop offs" - that's the complete opposite experience I've had at any post office, ups, fedex, or other postal annex locations. What a waste of time. I. Guessing they are stealing packages since they don't want to provide people with any proof you dropped them off. read more

I typically don't post negative reviews but I've never felt more disrespect and degraded so I have too. Now keep in mind I understand how small business works so I'm not angry about the situation but the disrespectful manner the owner carried himself. I went into the postal annex on cal oaks to send a fax. I needed to fax my pay stub (with all of my personal information mind you!!) to someone and I stopped there cause it was along the way. I asked how much it was to fax the owner said 3 dollars I pulled a 20 out and handed it to him as I didn't have my card with me but I had taken the 20 as I knew it wouldn't be much more than that. As soon as i handed him the 20 he says "you don't have anything smaller" I said no ... do you not have change ? He said I do but I just would rather you pay with something smaller. I told him I didn't bring anything smaller and he took the 20. He swiped it across some machine that turned green and the employee with him said it's fine it passed. He then took it from the employee and scanned it again as I stood there quietly. And again it passed. He then marked it with a pen and again it passed . .... he then held it up to the sky and began moving it back and forth as I'm still patiently quietly standing there. Then he says to me it's passing everything but I don't know cause counterfeits are very hard to detect now days.... but I guess I'll take it and see. Embarrassed as hell being that I work 45 hours a week as an admissions counselor and make great money I then told him to give me my money and I'd leave. He then says to me well that's fine at least I won't take a lost gambling with this .... and cancels the fax I've never felt so disrespected and had such a horrible customer service experience!!! I will NEVER go back in there for any reason and I definitely miss the old owners the funniest thing is I was so disrespected I left and then realized this idiot gave me the change for the 20 and I got home and realized he never got it back but contrary to his belief I will be returning it in the morning because some people aren't scumbags love how the owner responded to me to let me know I "misunderstood " read more

Overcharged me like crazy! $40 for something that should have cost No more than $10. Also whoever the older male is that works there, assuming he's the manager... treats his employees like crap! I recently switched from a PO box to a box at Postal Annex+, it's a little more expensive but totally worth the extra money. The staff is so friendly and help me to my car when I get large packages. PO Boxes can't accept several types of shipments which was becoming annoying but Postal Annex+ accepts all shipments. read more

Don't get services from this establishment. The owner of this postal annex named Z and their contractor for live scan Terry W. Fox both wash their hands off the mistake that cost us time from our job. Took them 6 months to get out fingerprints correctly submitted and refused to refund. After so many calls and text messages begging them to submit and fix their mistake, nothing was done. They only finally fixed it when we went there the 4th time and asked for a refund so we can have it done somewhere else. It was a nightmare. read more

So I accidentally post a review for this place, fairly upset that I was charged twice the amount for a shipment than I should have been. I posted it to the wrong google yelp and yellow pages sites and had left a message for the owner (still wrong place) like an idiot. I was upset and didn't realize there's more than one post-related place on California oaks. My mistake. This woman calls me around 6-ish and proceeds to speak to me in a demeaning and rude tone to tell me I had the wrong place. She scolds me and then had the nerve to tell me that the other place has the right to charge "retail" price for a shipment. A 2 lb package going to Portland Oregon from Murrieta California does NOT cost $22+. If UPS quotes me around $10 who do these places think they are to charge over DOUBLE that. ADVICE FOR POSTAL ANNEX+ if someone messes up and writes reviews/leaves a voicemail for the wrong post place... instead of being short, rude, and scolding when you call... how about being polite? Or even trying to explain to me that you'd be a better establishment to do business with. read more

I wish that I never stepped foot in this place! It went from shipping a package to a complete nightmare. I'm really disappointed with the service and employees here at this postal annex. I shipped out a package with them to a sick family member and paid over 100 dollars for express shipping the package is now not only late but not being able to be delivered. These people are telling me I can't get my money back even though the employee specifically told me numerous times when I was shipping out this package, that I would get my money back guaranteed if anything happened to it. Why aren't they complying with their policy? I've come in twice with my receipt to get this issue resolved and both times I've not been helped. I'm very upset and I just want to be helped the correct way. Kimberly gave me no answers and basically told me it's not their problem, it's mine to figure out. She even refused to give me her bosses name or information and when I asked for the manager she said she was the manager (what a coincidence). All she could do for me was give me the dhl number with no help and no answers. I can find the dhl number online, I didn't need her to give it to me but that's all she said she could do for me. When I asked her why the employee didn't tell me any of this information before she said he "didn't know" what kind of place doesn't have their employees trained to give out correct information when they are providing a service that we have to pay for?? Word of advice, Don't ship out with this place. They'll tell you one thing and then change their minds and rules later!! Today I had to get a document notarized, so I called this location to see if the notary services were offered all day. The guy who answered the phone was pleasant and let me know that they offered the service all day and let me know their hours. When I went in, the guy who was working the counter was super friendly and helpful. He offered to take my letter and drop in in the outgoing mail box and then let me know when usps was picking up the mail. The man who does the notary services was also really nice and was quick. I have never had anyone sell me on not shipping my container via FedEx, but today became a reality. The owner of the store convinced me I should not ship my Convention tote from his store. He said I should pack this 50 lb tote in a cardboard box to avoid extra charges and then said he did not provide the tie straps to close the container securely. Nor the correct plastic levels for the tote as well. I said it didn't require a cardboard box and he argued with me. Then he said he could not weigh the tote and the FedEx truck does not have a scale... um, excuse me? If he didn't want to ship my container all he had to do was man up and say so instead of giving all of his BS. I will never go to this place again because of his arrogant attitude. There is a place right down the street on Clinton Keith and he was more than happy to ship the container. PLUS, he and the FedEx representative strive both assisted with the labels. He aided me in sending packages to my family in Afghanistan in less than 15 minutes, unlike FedEx which wasted two hours of my life.
