I rented a U-Haul van from here and Chuck was very friendly, efficient and caring. I was scheduled to drop off the van on a day when they were closed and I accidentally dropped my car keys in the overnight lock box! As you can imagine this caused a major problem for me. However, today he just called me to let me know that it is unavailable. It is very UNPROFESSIONAL given that we are moving out tomorrow. The postal service at this location is very personalized and detail oriented, and is surprising for a place that has been open as long as it has along with the nature of mail and other business services these days. Have used this virtual office / business location many times and know that it has everything for mailing, shipping, expediting and other services for business and commerce. On Mondays when the lines are crazy at the post office I can send my amazon books to this shop and they do media mail with the tracking! The son and the dad always provide amazing customer service. I had the worst experience here. They do not carry the post offices standard price boxes and from what they told me they wont even honor their pricing if you bring them in. Then they wouldn't give me a price quote until i gave them all of my information including phone number and address. Then when I asked if I could get a quote without divuldging all my personal information the owner Chuck Kim told me to go somewhere else. What a great experience. There was a really nice guy at the desk (I later learned that his name is Chuck), and he explained the whole process of renting a mailbox very calmly and clearly. I really feel safe and welcome here, which has become so important after moving to the Bay Area and having to move so often, dealing with so much money with so many people. It's wonderful to find a place like this every once in a while! Postal Annex certainly has my trust. Side note: Don't pull into the driveway too fast, it's pretty steep. What a gem of a place. The owner, Chuck, goes out of his way to put the customer first. I have been coming here for years and have always gotten great service. Yes, sometimes it does get busy and you have to wait but I will take that anyday due to the personal service that I receive. It is like a one stop shop for mailings, packaging, copying, u-haul rental and notary to name a few. Chuck does his best to try and meet your needs and to know all of his customers. I have come in on several occasions to have documents and papers notarized and it is so convenient. Once he called me at home when he noticed an error in the labeling of a package I had dropped off (He was able to look me up in the white pages). A business exists to serve its customers and if the business forgets this, then it is only a matter of time when they will go out of business. A good business can differentiate itself by exceptional customer service it offers its clients. I had very bad experience with the business owner who was rather rude, wasn't courteous when I asked him a few questions about opening a mailbox and indirectly suggested that I go somewhere else. I will be extremely cautious doing business with them as they don't know how to treat a customer and they don't provide you with keys for after hours access to the mailboxes. I have had mailboxes before but never experienced such poor service read more

I have used them at least 20 times for various services, including Fed Ex, UPS, postal services, faxing, passport photos, etc., and have always received outstanding service from Chuck, the owner. He's friendly and extremely helpful. He even checked delivery of an important package I had sent next day delivery and told me the next time I was in that it got there on time. He also has a wide variety of really great greeting cards and other really fun merchandise. In a world where customer service is going down the tubes, this place is a breath of fresh air. They also make keys, rent mail boxes, sell boxes and packing materials, and have internet access available. I never go anywhere else. Avoid those waits at the post office and use this guy.
