Very bad experience. I just want to print a label and ship a package. The guy ignores me first even though I am the first customer. Then he talked to me very rude and full of bad manners. Seems like he prefer I never showed up, but this is the first time I went there and I just stand there waiting to talk to him,did or say nothing! And her tried to escape from paying taxes by not giving me receipt for printing. And I am not sure he is capable of shipping my package on time. I've rented P.O Box from this location for many years. I tend not to do any other business with them because the owner is quite rude. I stay because Chuck hasn't raised his rate on P.O boxes in over 3 years. I would say 2 out of 10 times the mail has been misfiled by the wrong name or just wrong box number. When I pick up packages he occasionally guesses my packages which ends in an awkward exchange.. The boxes are clean and they keys work for the box you are given. The one nice thing is that you can receive Amazon / EBAY packages as you do not need to clarify you are at a PO Box at this location versus a USPS PO Box. Do not get keys made here, I've had one made and it didn't work. The 2 positives- the PO Box rates are cheap and the packages are always arrive and have never been stolen. read more

I rarely write reviews but I am officially never coming in again. I dropped off my package last night. They couldn't scan it because they said it goes to the Post Office, and then they scan. I did not quite catch that or would've just dropped it off the next am to a real post office. Flash forward to tonight. There is no update on the package. I called to inquire and was told the mailman goes there twice per day to collect and take to the Keily location. The person who answered was extremely rude, short, and had the tone of like an "oooookaaaaayyy", like "do you get it?" type of tone. First of all, it's not rocket science that your process lacks efficiency and that you in fact are incompetent af. And secondly, dumbass, I have an advanced degree and common sense. So don't talk to me like I am some moron. The nerve. Now my customer who purchased from me is upset and stating their item has not been shipped, when I went out of my way after a 10 hr workday to drop it off at this messy, disorderly, incompetent location. I received excellent service at this PostalAnnex+ location. Firstly, the man who helped me couldn't have been more pleasant (he struck me as the owner, but I can't say for sure) even though I came in ten minutes before closing on Saturday afternoon. Secondly, he is very knowledgable about postal services, and he exercises that knowledge to provide great customer service. I had several pieces of regular mail that were pretty much ready to be sent off... or so I thought. One piece was a 5x7" greeting card in a standard A7 envelope. The envelope bulged slightly because a small gift was enclosed, but I had affixed three Forever stamps to compensate. Instead of tossing it in the postal tote, he looked at it carefully and decided to weigh it. He let me know that its size and shape changed its classification and called for additional postage. Another piece contained my passport renewal, which I enclosed in a plain white envelope. When the man saw where it was going, he informed me that he handles many passport applications, and 90% of people opt for Priority Mail because it offers greater security, includes a tracking number, and is actually recommended by the U.S. Department of State. (I had no idea.) I agreed to Priority Mail instead, and he took great care folding and placing my original envelope in the Priority Mail envelope. Try to imagine that happening at the post office. This man's diligence saved me a lot of trouble I didn't realize I was asking for, from returned mail to potential identity theft. I ended up here because it's one of few mail centers open past 4pm on Saturday -- there are at least 3 PostalAnnex+ locations closer to my place -- but I wouldn't hesitate to go out of my way again, especially if I have something important to send. ---------------- tl;dr the PostalAnnex+ employee (1) was extremely courteous and (2) identified problems with the way I had packaged two pieces of mail, including my passport application, and fixed them for me. read more

Chuck and his family are always friendly, polite, and very helpful. They make you feel like not just a valued customer, but a friend. I've initially went into this store for some passport photos. Chuck Kim, the owner, somehow remembered where I went and why I came in during my first visit a year later! How in the world does he remember so many details about his customers? It's quite perplexing, but I've realized that he's one of the most hard working and helpful person I've ever met at such service. (And my standards are high!) Rented a U-Haul van from this place. I left my gps Mount in the van when I returned it. I called and was told that they tossed it because of the pandemic and then they hung up on me. I drove by and saw the Mount in the van. I went in and told the guy that I saw the Mount in the van and I wanted it back. I don't write many reviews but really felt like I needed to write this one. I have been going into this location for as long as it's been there, probably 20 years now, and have always felt like I was supporting a small business.....until today. I have limited my errands due to Covid but needed stamps to mail holiday cards. I went in and purchased 100 Forever stamps and 2 Global Forever stamps. I purchased $57.40 worth of stamps but paid $68.00. I didn't realize it until I got home and it just didn't make sense to me. I went back in and spoke to the young man who helped me and the owner immediately swooped in and was immediately rude to me and acted as if he didn't understand my question. After going back and forth he told me that he charges $13.50 for a book of stamps that should only cost $11.00, that's .68 per stamp instead of .55. I fully understand he is running a business but that kind of profit on stamps is gauging people. And, like another review said, there is no signage explaining the service fee they are charging for stamps. I had the stamps in my hand that I had purchased a couple of hours earlier and asked him for a refund, he refused. I let him know that I was a long time customer and that I would never support his business again. I do not usually write reviews, but am taking the time to write this one. This Postal Annex PURPOSELY has no signage to inform customers of what I believe is exploitative pricing. For example, whether you select a sheet of 20 USPS Forever stamps or a sheet with only 10, this business charges an inflated flat rate of $13 a sheet without informing the customer of their flat-rate pricing. I bought a sheet with 20 Forever stamps (@.55) which would have cost $11 at the Post Office, but here I was charged an inflated flat fee of $13.00 for the sheet. I also bought a sheet with 18 Forever stamps which would have been $9.90 at the Post Office. Again, I was charged the same excessive flat fee of $13.00! I did not realize I had been ripped off until I got home and questioned my receipt When I called to ask what their markup was on USPS stamps (thinking they had made a mistake), I was told every sheet of Forever stamps is $13.00. I asked where was the sign indicating this flat rate at the stamp counter? Where was the pricing information to inform customers in advance about paying the same excessive flat rate of $13.00 per sheet whether it's for 20 stamps or 18 stamps or 10 stamps? I was told there are NO SIGNS because no signs are needed, because people who have used their services for years already know their pricing. He actually said that: "People who have come into the store for years already know the pricing." How is this not a scam? What else are they charging customers without full disclosure? This was my first time buying stamps at this Postal Annex. In my opinion, this business is taking advantage of customers by DELIBERATELY not placing signage indicating cost, and deliberately not informing customers of being charged the same flat rate for fewer stamps. The stamp counter had ample space to place signage, and yet, no pricing to be seen. What kind of business charges customers the same flat fee for fewer stamps without informing the customer first? What kind of business insists they do not need signage for "new" customers? read more
