My wife & I have been patrons of the LoHi Postinos for years and have always been pleased with the service we've received. We live in the burbs North of Denver so we decided to check out the Westminster location. We sat for 7 minutes before anyone came by to ask for our drink order. This happened even when there was an individual, who appeared to be on the management staff, was sitting at a booth 2 tables across from us working on paperwork and many other servers walked over to talk to them. Tonight's dinner at postino was good but unusual. It was much like having tapas for dinner. We ordered two of the boards and one of the bruschetta plates. The boards come out with little wedges of toast and a variety of things to smear or stack on that toast. All of the food tasted great and was quite fresh. Service was excellent. I believe the technical term is "meh". The food was just average...nothing innovative. The foccacia was descended from Wonder Bread - bland and with zero texture; the salmon bruscetta was dry and flavorless; and, the room was so noisy that we had to yelp, (see, nice use of the term), to speak with one another and then pay a $155 bill for lunch for a party of four. Nope...not again. BTW, we were told that our birthday girl would get the donut dots "on the house" and, of course, the $9.50 charge is on the bill. read more

We came with our friends to have a back to school celebration and it was so fun. Ben was our server and was so friendly, and informative. I see why they have good reviews. The patio was nice and relaxing and I love sharing food with our table so it was perfect! As my husband says the before 5pm $6 pitcher prices are amaze balls. read more

Maybe if I didn't have the Broadway location to compare - this review would be different. The service at Westminster just isn't great and I've tried and tried. What made Postino great for me was the warmth of the staff and how they would be right there offering a new wine to try, servers saying hello, hostess saying goodbye. I know - I'm being picky - but that's because Broadway spoiled me. Went today (I think my 5th visit to Westminster) and shoot - it's just not great and today was kinda snarky. Food was great, nice flavors and wine list. I loved the selection of smaller plates/boards -perfect for cocktails and a catch up sesh. Fun hipster ambiance and music to match the vibe and the wait staff was friendly and competent. But the building has the ceiling ripped out for that industrial vibe, and no noise-dampening features were installed, so it was quite loud, even at only 1/2 capacity (about 15 people or so). I'll still go back for a girls night and for the Monday night wine special, worth a trip! read more

So me and my wife were there last week. It was pretty crowded and a brand new restaurant but they have worked out the bugs out. We had great service. The food was great. Mediocre at best. Host and serving staff were great. But the table layout just makes you feel crammed in and exposed. If you're sat near the door, you'll just get people walking by you the whole time and feel like everyone can hear your conversation. Don't go around dusk because the sun will be shining in your eyes the whole time. We should have looked at the menu beforehand because we didn't realize it was a sandwich, soup, and salad joint. That's our fault. That being said, the food is fine for what it is, but overpriced. It was nice to try a new place, but we won't be back. read more
