One of my prints came out funky--the staff immediately jumped to help me fix the problem. We ended up having to use a different photo, and they printed it for free! I had to get Canadian passport photos taken, and these guys are one of the few places that can do it. They had all the specs programmed in (they do passport photos for 30 or 40 other countries as well). They took the time to make sure the photos were done correctly. I highly recommend them! Screw FedEx, CostCo, RiteAid, CVS..PostNet is the best option for passport photos and other photo requirements. Above mentioned other options wont know how to take a picture without shadows..Particularly Costco in Sunnyvale has some arrogant and ignorant employees who proudly claim they can only take pics with shadows. I searched on yelp for a photo print place to have some head shots printed up and this came up as the top place... Turns out it's right next to Rite Aid and Safeway on El Camino near Wolfe Rd! I called and Pierre quoted me $2 a print for 8x10s when I order 25 or more... and that was way better than $5 a print at Kinkos. I went in and Pierre was super nice and took good care of me. As it turns out, he explained, they had just bought a new high end photo printer only a couple weeks back since their existing printer needed repairs that were ridiculously expensive! The colors are phenomenal! I'm really happy with my head shots. I'm recommending this place to all my actor buddies and photographers! read more

Again, I am not paid writer. You can tell from my writing.. and gramma.. 1)They have the "luster" paper which is btw pearl and glossy, which is perfect for me. I think other photo labs like walgreens and longs does not offer that option. 2)Their machine are run by the same person and monitored professionally. Unlike in walgreens or longs, sometimes the photo lab person does not even know the machine was printing badly. Coperations always have hiring problem, putting people into the lab and forget about consistency of quality. 3)They sell 5x7" print MUCH MUCH cheaper than other photo labs from walgreens and longs !! 4)This place has great customer service, I heard that it is family run, not sure. So far their service is reliable through my experience. read more

The folks that run this place are totally awesome! Really polite, timely, friendly service that takes the drudgery out of completing business-type errands. I came in several weeks ago for passport photos, and while they do not offer the bargain basement price for these, this Postnet's staff knows how to get images the Dept. of State will approve of for you passport--no troubles for me in that vein! Also they are fast, with some pretty up-to-date digital equipment. I also got to see samples of the fine job they do with photo restoration, so I may consider this business if I need this sort of work done at some point. I can't speak to their pricing for a post office box (but I'm fairly certain one can get one here with a street address, especially useful if UPS packages etc. need to be received). Highly recommended, especially for passport photo needs. read more

excellent one-stop-shop for completing a passport application: * efficiently run * photo was taken with digital equipment * they are very familiar with the photo rules and have the proper setup * the clerk reminded me to take care of some of the finer points, such as writing "expedite" on the envelope for me, and having certain non-obvious details written on the check * they can do priority post mailing with tracking right from the store There's even a Chase (and Wachovia) in the same mall if you need to get a money order done. I had a 16" x 20" digital picture printed and mounted here for a memorial service. Ed helped me figure out the quality of the picture needed for the size I wanted. Went home and identified a picture that would fit my needs, used my limited artistic talents and cheap software to blur out the background of the picture, and brought in the digital file. I went back in the next day, and Ed helped me again, quickly identified a couple of places where I should smooth out the edges for a quality printout. After I did that in-store, he opened the document in Photoshop and quickly made a few other adjustments (sharpened the edges, and cleaned up a couple of flaws) without charge (thanks, Ed!). The quality of the printout and mounting was great, and the price was very reasonable. I knocked off a star only because it wasn't ready at the time I expected - that was due to some equipment failure and I was able to go back later in the day and it was ready. I'd use them again if I needed other pictures mounted in a short turnaround time. read more

I agree with most of the people who have posted their comments here. These guys are very friendly. Their quality is better than other online photo printing services. I had wrongly ordered 1 copy each when I placed an online order through one of the well known online photo printing service. I realized it only after I received the shipment. So, I had to go postnet to print another copy of the same batch. ....Wooooowww..., the quality of the print was far far superior compared to the online service I had used. After this, I started using postnet for all photo printing services. So far I had been to this place at least 4 times and every time I go there I get excellent service and I return back satisfied. I would recommend this shop for all printing services. They have all the latest equipments and always strive to satisfy their customers. They do have good knowledge about the work they are doing. The papers they use to print photos are of very good quality. Any doubt you ask them, they are more than happy to answer you. Great place!!! Just give a try and see the difference!!. read more

I've walked by this place at least 20 times (I live nearby and frequent the Rite Aid and Safeway next door all the time) and never thought about it. Then recently, our company needed some flyers printed, and I found excellent reviews for it on Yelp, so I stopped by. These guys are awesome! They worked with me to get the result just how I wanted it, even making some minor fixes on the file in Photoshop and printing single copies as tests until I was completely happy with it, and even cut the final product, all at no additional cost. And for an extremely reasonable price - less than 65 cents a sheet. The service was friendly and pleasant, and they really work hard to make sure you're satisfied. Also, if you're coming here to get passport photos taken or have photos printed, I'm sure they'll do a good job, as the guys who were working there when I was there were telling me that they do professional photography on the side. read more

We came here to have our daughter's passport picture taken. They were very accomodating and the pictures they took were great.

They charged 15$ for notarizing an affidavit! When you ask them,They say its a state law!! Seriously? There are places which advertise and go by names as 5$ notary. I got 4 of affidavits at 5$ each at another place. Will never go back there for notary service again read more

Not only that a professional photographer has a duty to snap passport picture that meets certain specifications, he should have the skill to make you look best in the photo. While my passport photos taken in Jet (another photo shop in Cupertino) 3 months ago turned out to be totally disappointing, I look good in Postnet's photos despite my slightly chapped lips. PostNet is the best printing place in town. Carlos helped me out to print some invitations on paper I brought in. He was so helpful and patient with me. He spent time asking exactly what I wanted and didn't rush through the job. He ran a few test runs and was a perfectionist at heart making sure my invitations were lined up perfectly. I love this place. I came in on Saturday to get a passport picture taken. I had previously been to Fedex, and the picture came out terrible (never again!). They only had a very old digital camera and it shows. The staff at Postnet was super nice and professional. They explained the prices, and took the picture. They even have a mirror you can use beforehand (very well appreciated!). Afterwards the picture came out GREAT, probably the best passport picture I ever had. Not only that, but for a small fee, they will email it to you electronically. I appreciate that they will keep your photo for six months in case you want a reprint. Overall, I loved their service, their cheerfullness, and prices. read more
