    Pepperoni pizza
    Steven I.

Place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I really liked the big Christmas tree and the decorations on the fire place. It was a full house so I give the staff credit for handling so many orders. My pepperoni pizza was tasty and I would definitely order it again.

Artichoke over Bronzino with mash potatoes and steamed vegetable.

Friendly service and excellent food. It's a good value! Nice bar for before after or instead of dining rooms.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

Unfortunately, he has gotten so popular we couldn't afford the tickets, so I'm glad we saw him here. This venue really is great, and since my last review we learned where the best seating is for comedy shows. We saw Jim Breuer for the second time here and had the best time ever! A friend got us on the list for the founders room which we went into before the show. This place is awesome! It's a really cool speak-easy with hidden rooms and unique antiques. The staff was really friendly both in here and inside the venue itself. There was a mix-up on our part about the meet and greet, but they took care of it for us and made it happen. It's unusual for such a large venue to have such great personal service, but that is how they treat everyone. The staff seems to have a really great time working there, meeting the audience, and enjoying the show along with us. This is one of our favorite venues on Long Island. Looking forward to going back for more great shows!

My friends and I had mezzanine seats which included waitstaff service, a nice feature. The sound quality was great and the theater is small enough that you have a good view even from an upper level. I reserved ahead of time for my husbands birthday just for the two of us and let them know that and asked for an intimate/quiet table. They took that to heart. We got a great table in the back corner where we could both sit next to each other on the booth seat. They also put a candle in the tiramisu we ordered. He had chicken parm, it was a big portion. He said it was good but he would probably get steak next time as we saw it at the table next to us and it looked amazing. I got the cacio e pepe. So delicious. We shared the French fries, house bread and fingerling potatoes. So so delicious. The aioli with the fries was flavorful, the butter with the house bread was delicious. Our drinks were strong and wonderful. I got the Ms Loren for the cucumber and he got the honey bourbon which is not normally my type but it was so smooth. The tiramisu was delicious. We would definitely go again. There's a lot of indoor seating and very cute outdoor seating. There's valet parking but we ended up parking on the street a block up. Would recommend to dress up and enjoy a beautiful night out.

I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon
