I was disappointed with my experience. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad that cost over $26. When I got home, I found that the chicken had been packaged separately from the salad. What surprised me was that the chicken already had cheese, and pieces of lettuce stuck to it, making it appear as though it had been sitting on the salad before being removed and packed separately. I called the restaurant to ask about it. I was told that they intentionally removed the chicken from my salad and packed it separately, which is why it had salad and cheese on it. While I appreciate the explanation, I found that preparation method unusual and not what I expected. Why put the chicken on that salad then take it off??? I waiting for the food to be put it a box , it wasn't like it was ready when I was there. I also felt that my concerns were dismissed, as I didn't receive an apology. The lettuce I had was also browning, which the employee on the phone dismissed my concerns . I Asked for a manager to call back. No call back. I didn't eat this salad, went right in the garbage. Felt the whole experience with very unprofessional . For the price, I expected better food quality and customer service. Based on this experience, I'd never go back. Used to be a loyal customer but would now never return to this place. My child found a piece of plastic in their pizza, which they could have choked on. Luckily they knew to spit it out in time. I tried calling the business 3 times and the worker kept saying the manager stepped out. Obviously these people are unsanitary and don't care what they are serving! Great vibe inside, clean, comfortable, easy spot to grab a bite or sit and relax. Entrees, while large enough to be shared by 2-3 adults were "ok". Pasta was overcooked. Proteins lacked seasoning. I found the tomato sauces to be oily. The menu is extensive and includes some inventive pizza configurations. Had dinner with family last night. It was excellent. I had the Veal Ala Mama, wife had Rigatoni Bella Vita. Kids had penne Ala vodka and one had chicken fingers and waffle fries. The portions were very generous. (Chicken fingers will feed my kid for next three days). My veal was a very decent portion. Well worth the money. Taste was 10/10. Eggplant stack appetizer was absolutely great. Didn't get a picture before we started eating it. Highly recommend this place. I believe it's under new ownership and they are doing a phenomenal job. I believe they are two cousins. Met them both to express how nice the dinner was. Service was also excellent. Meals came hot sizzling hot. (Usually my biggest pet peeve at other restaurants). Large grandma pie $24.00 and the small $20.00 the girl on the phone told me it will be $27.73 cash delivered!! So I call mulberry Street back and told them what happen the same girl that took my order and told me they don't make a large grandma pie which I have ordered before and when I told her that she said I don't need to look at a menu and basically told me that they aren't going to do anything for me and hung up if my grandkids didn't start eating it I would of bought it back to them!!! I have always had a great experience until today. I usually order the mango salad with fried chicken which I awesome. Today I tried toasted walnut goat cheese. I received a full container of arugal sprinkled with some cranberries and a couple of walnuts and no goat cheese. Food was fantastic. Stopped in before a show at Argyle. As soon as we sat delicious garlic knots were plated before us. We started with 2 great pours of wine. We selected lobster ravioli which were definitely lobster based and came with shrimp. They had 4 ravioli to choose from. We also had the Pappardelle Amalfi and was authentic and well portioned. Both came home with us because we heard you couldn't pass on the home made tiramisu. They were right! Restaurant was full and the service was excellent. We even left with a bottle of wine.
