It's a cool place and everyone wants to go; I've only been down here a few times now and yeah, it definitely gets fun at times, I guess it feels cool getting in too; I like the staff I like the option, I like not being stuck upstairs with the normies. The hidden rooms cool and the vibe is pretty dope, last time I was down there there was a Christmas party roping off the fun but it was still nice to grab a few drinks without a line upstairs and have a conversation without screaming over a bad opener.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

He seemed very uninterested, in not just us but the people near us as well. For drinks we ordered the La Pasion Margarita and the Hibiscus Margarita. The passion fruit margarita was ok. The hibiscus margarita I had did not taste good at all. We had the Guacamole which was ok, no major complaints but nothing much to praise either. For the meal, I ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and the hubs had the chicken quesadilla. The prices were not worth the food. Perhaps the bartender set the tone for the rest of the meal but this was one that we didn't really enjoy and likely would not return to try again. There was another bartender that we wished we had because he seemed super nice and attentive to his guests. The restaurant had a rustic vibe and seemed like a good place for group dinners or more of an intimate one. Unfortunately, we will likely not return.

Unfortunately, he has gotten so popular we couldn't afford the tickets, so I'm glad we saw him here. This venue really is great, and since my last review we learned where the best seating is for comedy shows. We saw Jim Breuer for the second time here and had the best time ever! A friend got us on the list for the founders room which we went into before the show. This place is awesome! It's a really cool speak-easy with hidden rooms and unique antiques. The staff was really friendly both in here and inside the venue itself. There was a mix-up on our part about the meet and greet, but they took care of it for us and made it happen. It's unusual for such a large venue to have such great personal service, but that is how they treat everyone. The staff seems to have a really great time working there, meeting the audience, and enjoying the show along with us. This is one of our favorite venues on Long Island. The bar area is separate from the main dining room and feels like its own space, with a large bar, a few small tables, and seating along the windows. It was fairly lively for a Thursday night. The bartenders were fun and engaging, clearly knew many of the regulars, and did a great job keeping the energy up. While there are no formal happy hour deals, they do serve complimentary chunks of parmesan, which were very good. The cocktail and wine menu is fairly extensive. We only ordered a small starter (fingerling potatoes for $13), but the dinner portions we saw looked generous. I enjoyed a glass of Malbec (~$15) and generous pour. Prices are closer to New York City pricing, though the portion sizes may be enough to share. When you enter the restaurant, you pass a large patio with tables, which would be especially nice during warmer months. Overall, Farm Italy feels like a great spot for catching up with friends over drinks, and I would definitely come back to try more of the food.

I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon

The food stood out right away--not just because it was served hot and fresh, but because it actually had depth and flavor. That's not something I can usually say about other Indian restaurants I've tried, where the spices often feel watered down or flat. The waiter who helped us was attentive without hovering, and the timing between courses was just right. You could tell the kitchen puts care into each dish, and nothing felt rushed or reheated. All in all, it was a solid experience and one we'll likely come back for. If you're in the area and craving Indian food that doesn't hold back on flavor, Nirvana is worth a visit. One thing I want to point out. Don't always go by a negative review on any restaurant. It's a fact that negative reviews end up online more often than positive reviews. A pissed off customer wants to tell the whole world but a happy customer just tells his circle of friends and family. Try it for yourself and then be your own judge.

This Yelp however is about the place to pregame before the show and since I am unfamiliar with the area, I had to ask friends who have been there often what the available options were for me to explore. The biggest recommendation was the bar a few doors down from The Paramount Theater called Huntington Village Tavern. So far I have been here twice and since I don't know when I will be in the area again I wanted to Yelp something up. Spatially speaking the bar is nicely laid out. You have some hightop tables at the front of the big bay window that looks out onto the avenue, the main bar (which is rather long) and a back area that I think houses a pool table. I didn't go back there so am not 100% sure. Now my standard fare at a bar is a couple of pints of beer and not much else. I am not a spirits guy but the tavern appeared to be stockpiled with all of the needed good stuff for the customer who requires that. There is no food being served at the bar, but they allow you to bring in stuff to eat and right near by is pizza, some burgers and a wonderful Spanish food place. I went to that last one but that it for a Yelp of its own. The bar staff was congenial and served my party their drinks nice and fast. This was great since the time frame that I had to get into the show was not really much. I had a WiFi signal when I was in there so am assuming it was theirs but I cannot confirm that this is the case. I will definitely go back there should I be planning on an event at the Paramount. You should do the same.
