I recently joined a friend for a tour of the Founder's Room and was blown away. The attention to detail, the hospitality, the laid back yet exclusive vibe... it's all just so well executed. I love all of the different secret rooms and themes of each. From the gangster room to the Teddy Roosevelt room, I could legit spent hours hanging out in each while sipping on a delicious mocktail with close friends. I even got a chance to watch the live UFC fight on their big tvs. I can so see myself becoming a member and coming here a few times a month, away from the hustle and bustle from the Huntington bar scene. read more

Phenomenal Speakeasy that is visually spectacular. The ambiance and atmosphere created is unequivocal and creates a dynamic night when packaged together with a main attraction show. Have been to the Founder's Room many times and love the vibe, the decor is amazing! The staff is always top notch and this time was no different. Our server was fast with drinks and our order was swiftly delivered. The boneless wings appy was tasty and saucy but still maintained crispiness--a plus! But unfortunately, the mains were disappointing-the burgers were small & overdone, the tuna Poke lacked flavor and they had no soy sauce!!!! Reserved the Shawshank Redemption room, nice vibe, the same as the prison cell, including a working electric chair wow!! Their menu is higher end bar food, yummy and worked for our group of 15. Wish they had salads on the menu, for us lighter eaters. Drinks were flowing, waitress was great, we were celebrating a birthday invited us back after the show for dessert. It's a cool place and everyone wants to go; I've only been down here a few times now and yeah, it definitely gets fun at times, I guess it feels cool getting in too; I like the staff I like the option, I like not being stuck upstairs with the normies. The hidden rooms cool and the vibe is pretty dope, last time I was down there there was a Christmas party roping off the fun but it was still nice to grab a few drinks without a line upstairs and have a conversation without screaming over a bad opener. read more

Very cool place to have a bite and some drinks before or after a show. All of the food we had was delicious - a pizza, chips and dip and some mozzarella sticks. We had our son's bar mitzvah celebration at the Founder's Room and could not be happier with the event team and all the staff. The event planning was seamless, the flow of the event was sheer perfection, and the ambiance was the perfect venue for a fun, exciting, and memorable night! And the food...we were blown away by the food! Everything was cooked to perfection! We could not have asked for a better team to help us throw the bar mitzvah celebration of a lifetime! As the party hosts, we had to do practically nothing! Everything was personalized to our specifications without out having to stress or think! 4 stars only because it was crazy crowded & busy & I can't blame anyone for that, thus causing us to wait, but it was fine. Sometimes you just have to roll with it. . Our "hostess" Sierra was top notch. Polite & efficient. I am so glad they changed up the menu , everything we had was very good. We were in the private " Frankenstein" room ( 5 of us) It was pretty cool. There were replicas of things from the movie:. The electrical skullcap, Abby normals brain in a glass jar, Young Frankenstein played on a loop on a monitor.People were constantly pushing open the swinging " bookcase wall" , but we just had fun with it, in retrospect I think a " private room in use" sign would be helpful. What a cool place! My first time here and i loved it. I went with some friends. We had a great time. Had some drinks, and danced while the DJ played a great mix of music! Pre Shinedown concert 9/2017... Was lucky enough to know the right people and had a chance to check out this VIP lounge/bar that boasts live music and speakeasy type bevvies. So there are tv's that you can watch but not hear what goes on in the concert room. I was bummed because I missed Biffy Clyro, a Scottish band, they were opening for Shinedown while we played VIP. but I was stoked to hear Necter playing live! First time, and I'm an instant fan! I think I got really drunk, really fast so that's all I remember. The bathrooms were cool. If someone can get you in here, I recommend! read more

The Founder's Room is a hidden members only 1920's speakeasy located underneath The Paramount concert venue. Inside you will step back into a time where alcohol was forbidden and everyone just wanted to have a good time. The room is covered in 1920's paraphernalia and the bartenders are dressed accordingly. As you walk through you may find secret walls and doors that turn into hideaways for drinking and playing cards. There is even a jail located inside. They really do a great job of making you think that you are in a different era. Membership is around 4,000 dollars a year but it is a great place to hang out if you can swing it. Note: drinks and concert tickets are not included in membership price. Membership only is to allow access into club. read more

The founders room is a speakeasy at the Paramount. It's undoubtedly one of the nicest lounges that I've been to on Long Island. It's spacious with plentiful seating and multiple bars. The bars have a selection to please anyone. They had a couple craft beers on tap including options I haven't seen elsewhere. It's a fun and comfortable spot to hang out. There are hidden rooms and passages throughout. The restrooms are first class. I liked that there's a billiards table too. The service is wonderfully friendly and attentive. Also, the hors d'oeuvres are delicious! Note that you must be a member or with a member to enter. read more

The space is very cool. Lots of little areas to duck into if you want to get away from the crowds. Just had our 30th HS reunion there this past Saturday and for the price we paid, I'm not overly impressed. Our event was only 3 hours, but they had very little organization to get us checked in and inside. We were in line just before 8pm and it took them 20 minutes to get us inside (we were 15th and 16th in line). Name tags were scatted in a small basket, so they had to search thru all of the tags to find names. Not organized alphabetically, so every check-in, they were fumbling thru 100+ tags. Once inside, there were plenty of staff walking around, but only 2 bartenders and a very small bar to accommodate the large initial push for drinks. The amount of food being walked around was very light too. I was surprised to not see more trays circulating around the room. As a special disappointment, I had Sand City (our local Northport brewery) lined up to drop off beer for our special event, but the place would not allow their beers, so it was all Anheuser-Busch beer products to drink and only bottles. Goose Island IPA was OK, but we wanted to see a local product for the occasion and that was a big bummer for me. Otherwise, the mixed drinks were strong. Even though we were admitted late, 11pm on the nose, I approached the bar for one last beer and it was now a cash bar. That was a bummer, as I had spent plenty of $ already for the event. They opened up the room to the rest of the place too right at 11pm, so very prompt to end our event, but certainly let everyone remain inside to collect more $ for drinks. 3 stars for the experience seems about right. read more

I have passed by this entrance many times. I was curious what it was like but not a fan by principe of exclusivity for the Lloyd harbor crowd. My friend new a member one random night with an extra ticket so I decided to check it out...let me say the place is beautiful not cheesy speak easy with these cool private rooms one behind a book cabinet and the staff is super nice and attentive...I actually find myself enjoying the experience and decided to it venture up to even see the concert. The Founders Room is stunning! Whirling you back in time to a very authentic speakeasy. Our waitress was wonderful and so attentive. But our food was terrible. We both had the the skillet with Brussels and chicken. The skillet was very hot but the food was cold. Which tells me it was all prepared food. The Brussels we're under cooked and hard but yet the chicken overcooked and dry. Definitely give it a try but stay with cocktails and pizza! Enjoy! read more

If you can get in you must go! Hidden spot at The Paramount and it's members only. There are a bunch of hidden rooms with different themes, go explore them. Hint: I was shackled to the wall in one of the rooms ;) They have tvs so you can still watch the show from the bar area inside the Founders Room. Secret special performances, band members, etc might pop in and hang out. You never know! Dimly lit, plenty of various seating areas, two bars, friendly staff, good times! Place is super cool and totally unique for LI. Every corner has something new and interesting. Talk to the 'tenders and get the stories. There are rooms... inside of rooms. Beyond the quirky, it's a great place to grab a few drinks and some lite bites before (or during) a show. For a spot that's used a few times a week, they have some really great beers and a good cocktail list. There are plenty of monitors, so you can see what's happening on the stage and when to head out to your seat. Will you meet the artist in here before the show? Probably not... but it has happened (and def keep an eye out for the openers). Going to a super popular show? Maybe a celeb sighting. Though it's not easy to snag a pass in here (a yearly membership is required), should you have the opportunity go for it! read more

I had no idea a members-only club existed inside the Paramount until we were invited to a private live music show there. The interior of the Founder's Room really looks and feels like something from the 1920s, and the hidden rooms are awesome. The place is pretty huge, and it seemed like every time I made a turn, it led to even more new areas. There is a ton of seating, including tufted couches, high tops, and regular tables. Their food is delicious, especially the lobster tacos. The servers and bartenders are all very friendly. If you know someone who can get you in or don't mind paying a few grand a year for a membership, it's a really fun and chill place to hang out in before or after a Paramount show or just in general. read more

Recently moved to the area, with my family. Was interested in joining this members only bar and had a contact who was going to put my name as well as my business partners name on the list to go check out. I spoke with one of their employees, Merav, the afternoon of and was rudely told by her I was not on list and this was a members only bar. She was more interested in proving me wrong, and being extremely condescending than the fact that my partner and I were both willing to pay nearly $8,000 that night to join for both our families. I specialize in the hospitality field and her attitude as well as customer service or lack of was absolutely horrid. If you want to charge those kind of dues, that is fine, but you must have the customer service and hospitality to back it up when charging such a signifiant amount to money. Merav single handedly lost this business a ton of money, someone like that I would NEVER allow to work for me. It is very bad business and also not smart to have someone like her the face of your company, absolute disgrace. We will be taking our money elsewhere. read more
