It amazes me how an employee can insult a customer and have no accountability what so ever. When I documented my experience here, and wrote letters to corporate, the only response i got was from the store manager and it was weak, I felt he just went through the motions and wasn't concerned if he kept me as a customer or not. During my last visit, I had a 2-star experience. This was my first time visiting this location and I was not impressed by my selection. Up until recently, I had only had Potbelly's when it was provided for work lunches. It was always good, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to stray from my regular JJ's on my own. I've had their Mediterranean, tried the current Turkey Club, but most often get the Turkey and Swiss. I wasn't a big fan of the turkey on the Club, but chalk it up to personal preference. The sandwiches are always delicious and made to order on soft yet warm and crusty bread. I love their mustard, yum! I've had their soups, too - most recently the Broccoli Cheddar. It was very good (albeit salty!) and piping hot. Service has always been friendly and speedy. Once, one of the young guys raved about the Turkey Club (after I had ordered it) and chatted me up about the sandwich and previous sandwiches. His enthusiasm was endearing. There are some things in life I just don't have to know about. The cookie ice cream sandwich at Potbelly's is one of those things. While I have resisted thus far, I'm not sure how long my will-power will last. Potbelly's is our go-to for work lunches as our corporate office is a few miles away. During a few training these past months, Potbelly's was a great alternative to the typical pizza and Panera. You can cater for large groups OR have the option to place a specific order. When ordering online, you can customize an order per person so when you get your grub it's all labeled and ready to go. They have a good variety of sandwiches, I'd say there is something for everyone. If a sandwich doesn't suit you, many of their options can be made into a salad. The Italian is my favorite sammie, and I love that they serve it warm. This is the nail in the coffin: their cookies. Oh good LAWD. Their cookies are amazing. More specifically their oatmeal chocolate chip is unparalleled. It's so bad it's good. Whenever I take this one as an "after lunch" treat, it literally soaks through my napkin. I know, I know. I never understood why people would go to Subway when there's a Potbelly right across the street. Subway's oven barely even toasts the bread, just warms it--somewhat similar to Panera's fake panini presses that are really just griddles designed to imprint grill marks onto the bread. Bloody cheaters. At Potbelly, the slow conveyor toaster makes the bread crisp and fillings hot. The workers are cheerful and hustle pretty well during peak times. They have a bit of fun trying to predict what sandwich I'll order since it always revolves. My mainstays are the Wreck, with turkey, ham, salami and roast beef; the Mediterranean with chicken, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, cucumbers and hummus; and the new Toasty Turkey BLT with Nueske's Applewood-Smoked bacon. I almost always get giardiniera (hot peppers) either on the sandwich or on the side because I LOVE THAT STUFF. I'm not sure why Potbelly sees less business than Panera (brand recognition?) less indoor seating, maybe?) but the good thing about it is that there are way fewer loudmouths and screaming children. read more

It's always something with this potbelly. The employees are are so careless and rude. Every time I have stepped foot in this Potbelly, there is a mess of employees that hate working there. Every time I order online and write notes in the instructions box, they don't read them or do them. For example, light lettuce or hot peppers on the side. I will see on the ticket (when they hand me my food) that the note was printed out with no problem. But they don't do it. They don't care enough to read the note. They move a lot slower than any other potbelly I've been to. I always have to wait an extra 10-15 minutes to get my sandwich when I order online. Even if it says the estimated time was "20 minutes" and I get there 20 minutes after the order was placed. Last time, there was no one in the potbelly when I showed up to pick up my online order and they said it would be another 5-10 minutes. Not a single soul was in the establishment and there were no other pickup bags in the pickup station. I just really dislike this Potbellys. But it's the one closest to my home. read more

I recently came into this location during lunch & it was very busy. The parking lot was a mad house & inside was even crazier. The staff here was very friendly & tried to take your order & have it to you as quick as possible. Even though the line was a little bit annoying the staff did get orders taken & delivered fairly quickly. I got a tuna sandwich here & it was absolutely delicious. The reason for my three stars & not more is simply because they prices here are higher & the portions are not that big. The place was fairly clean but there were a few tables with crumbs on them but that is to be expected during an afternoon lunch rush. Overall the line was a little bit cramped but the staff was friendly & fast & the food was delicious. This Potbelly location really has a nice way of not feeling like a chain to me. I know it is and I know that the chain-i-ness of it is probably what keeps it so consistent and keeps me coming back, but when I'm here, it's cozy and I'm happy. I am rarely in the area for lunch, so this is a quick dinner spot for me. Recently, I have fallen for their "flats" which are lower in calories and quite good. I usually load one of those up with their chicken salad. Potbelly has a great chicken salad with quality chicken breast chunks and it is not dripping with mayo. There's some mayo, but I don't feel like it's calorie overload when I indulge here. I'm also a fan of their soups. I've never had a soup here that I didn't enjoy. Meats and veggies are plentiful and cooked just right. The soup bases are tasty! Top of the list is the chicken enchilada soup for me which had a nice little kick. Often times there is someone playing a little love music in the eating area. It's never been obnoxious or annoying, so kudos to our local musicians. The staff is helpful and know how to capture my interest. They actually got me to switch from their regular bread to the flat and I'm glad that I listened. They know their stuff. read more

We used DoorDash to order from this place tonight. I did the half sandwich and half soup. Very very plentiful. I had a smoked ham sandwich with all my special ingredients on it and topped it with my blue cheese. That was the best dang sandwich I have ever eaten and way bigger and filled than I expected. My husband got the prime rib sandwich and we both chose the chicken pot pie soup. We felt like we were eating a pot pie, one of the best ever. I wanted to take a moment to review yet another wonderful experience today with Potbelly. I order in lunches for customer visits to my office. 99% of the time I'm VERY last minute, which makes it tough for me to find places that will be able to fulfill my orders. This is not the case with Potbelly. I called with less than two hours notice for two meetings that we had today. I spoke with Brian, who was just INCREDIBLE. He didn't miss any details in taking the order, and I'm glad he asked questions because there were plenty of details that I would have left out had he not asked me. Brian made sure to bag and invoice the two orders separately for me, and also had each sandwich labeled with the person's name. If you've ever ordered for events with picky eaters, you know how awesome it is to order from somewhere with great attention to detail! Our orders were delivered at the perfect time, and everything was great! Fresh, neatly packed and labeled with care. LOVE IT! I made sure to call Brian after the lunches today to thank him for the wonderful experience, and he offered to keep note of any future meetings I had, and also offered to give me a call a week or so in advance so that we could place the order together. Again - AMAZING service. Where else will you find something like this other than your large catering businesses that charge you an arm and a leg (and don't let you individualize your meals)? Brian's customer service skills are above and beyond the norm, for sure. I've also been in to this location several times to purchase lunch for myself, and the service is always great - you're greeted with a friendly smile and served promptly, even with a line out the door. The reason why we went to potbellies was because my schools Marching Band was having a fundraiser. The last time I went there, it was 5 years ago and I was looking forward to go back again. We ordered four different sandwiches, a soup and a custom Mac n cheese. Everything was wonderful, fresh, and at the right price. After we got in line, there were 15 people behind us with only 3 employees working. We didn't have to wait but I'm sure the others did.
