Randomly saw this place as I was looking for a sandwich during lunch time. It's in the basement of an office building. I got there with only a few people ahead of me. They have an extensive menu with various options. The red squares indicate hot sandwiches , the blue are cold and green are salads. I decided to order Dan's favorite sub(hot sandwich) . It has roast beef, melted provolone, capicolla, mushrooms, jalapeño, onions and house Italian dressing. Their prices are ridiculously reasonable for the size of the sandwich. This was probably a good foot long and only $11. By the time I got my order there were probably 8 other people behind me. This place is popular. Their sandwich had fresh ingredients and the house made Italian dressing was tangy, sweet and delicious. I can see why this could be Dan's favorite! Came here after my doctor's appt so I was starving from fasting. It was hard to find this place as the interior was getting renovations done but I asked someone and they were able to point me to it. It's on the lower floor by the way so you'll need to take the tiny elevator down! I didn't realize they didn't do lunch until 10:30 and I was there a little after 9 but they were super nice and accommodating and made me a sandwich anyway. Even though I had to wait a bit, they were still super quick! I got a small #6 with everything on it for $7.49 and it was huge. I split this to eat it twice actually. The Italian dressing really pulled the sandwich together. The bread was a little tough so I think toasting it would've helped but I did get a cold sub so cant complain too much about it. Despite leaving half the sub in the fridge for a few hours to save it for later, it wasn't soggy and it was still really good! Highly recommend this place especially closer to the morning/early lunch time when the smell of bacon lingers in the hallway to show you where to go! read more

I had a large event recently at The Comedy Works in Greenwood Village, and we needed numerous sandwiches for the volunteers and they were my go to. The sandwiches are delicious and fresh. Supporting this small sub shop is one thing but getting great food value for your buck is also important. I highly recommend any of the sandwiches but the turkey avocado seemed to be a favorite ordered by several. I had a roast beef that was good for two meals. I cannot even believe this place exists. I found it on google maps and randomly pulled in to DTC. I had no idea there was a hidden gem inside. The owner/manager was THE NICEST HUMAN I have ever met. They were out of main ingredients for the first three sandwiches I ordered and I didn't even care because the staff was just so freaking cool. Be wary, the lines can be long during peak hours, but that is a testament to the good food they're cranking out! You can call ahead orders, to which you can skip the line and pick up/pay almost immediately if you've got good planning. Had the Italian Sausage Hot Sub again today for probably the 10th time! One of my favorites! If you're getting a hot sub, make sure and ask for all the toppings, because they've got an excellent jalapeno/olive/mushroom mix that really elevates the sandwich. This was a hidden gem... Located in the basement of a business building. We tried three different sandwiches: the Ruben, chicken pesto, and the special. Called in the morning and spoke to Dan and his daughter about putting together some sandwiches for a large medical office meeting. He explained very nicely about the many choices, the timing, the options, and was great on the phone. I headed over to see more of the menu which is quite extensive, and thought I would grab a breakfast burrito in the meantime, and it was huge and quite outstanding. Needless to say I ordered a bunch of great sandwiches which he cut into smaller pieces, labeled them on the tray, and did a great job with the various varieties I chose, and all with only about 90 minutes on the clock....excellent service...and with great smiles along the way... BEWARE. DO NOT GO HERE. I ordered breakfast one morning for my office team and I got 2 breakfast sandwiches, 2 burritos & 1 muffin. The muffin was completely moldy on the inside and my bad thinking it was a fluke went ahead and ate the other stuff. Within minutes of finishing our breakfast, all four of us got sick and had to take turns manning the office and running to the restroom. We all had the same symptoms: stomach pains, nausea, cold sweats, diarrhea and had to close the office early because all of us had to go home.
