Okay, Crown Burger, where have you been??…read more I heard you could get an actually good burger here for under $10, so obviously I had to investigate. I think this thing was around $8 WITH TAX, and it was legitimately fantastic. Fresh ingredients, hot, messy in the correct way, and it tasted like real food made by actual humans. Service was great too. The part that got me: I walked out, looked across the street at McDonald's and genuinely thought, dude... why is anybody going to McDonald's when THIS is right here? You can spend basically the same amount of money and get an actual burger instead of something that looks like it was assembled during a hostage situation. And apparently I live dangerously close to Crown Burger, which is excellent news for me and potentially terrible news for my self-control. I think I just found my new neighborhood burger spot. 10/10. Will absolutely be back. (ambience gets five stars as I was able to place my order through their website with no third-party apps. I was able to pay directly through their website with no hassle. It was ready with a nine minutes and because I had my dog Thumper with me, I went through the drive-through as there was no line. I just pulled right up to the window -- not only were they great sports about it, but they hooked my dog up with bacon as drive through dog treats)

A great little burger shop near Glendale…read more My friend had this place on her list of must try so of course we had to try it. It has a small parking lot so you might have to park on the street. The staff was amazing! They could tell we were a little overwhelmed with the menu because we have never been there and they helped walk us through it. I told him I just wanted meat cheese and bun and he was able to make that happen. I also got a milkshake and french fries. The burger was cooked to my liking and very juicy. The steak fries were hot and fresh! The milkshake was cookies and cream with a vanilla base, which is exactly what I love. I think overall, it was a really good burger place and if I'm in that area of tunnel, definitely go back if I'm craving a burger.

Everything was made fresh and packaged beautifully. The place was clean and welcoming. The food was incredible! Even though I got it to go, it was amazing at home! I didn't take pictures because I started eating right away. The Caesar wrap with extra dressing was phenomenal! The chicken is really top-tier. The salad was also amazing and I had it the next day! The salad portion is huge. You could probably get a salad and chicken strips (or a wrap) to share! Looking forward to coming back. It was so worth it!

You place your order at one of the kiosks, then just watch the pickup screen until your order is ready. The whole process is quick, simple, and efficient. I ordered the seasonal Thai Chicken Wrap with fries, and honestly, it's one of the best wraps I've had in a while. The crispy chicken tenders, Asian herb mix, crispy shallots, and green papaya dressing all had their own distinct flavors, but together they created a wrap that was incredibly balanced and satisfying. It felt like every ingredient was thoughtfully seasoned and intentionally paired. The biggest compliment I can give? I loved it so much that I went back a second time the same week. Definitely worth a visit.

Now thiiiiis is what I'm talking about!!!!…read more As soon as I walked in I knew this was the real deal-- the give away?... Plastic cover on the tablecloth!! IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW!!!!! Growing up in Queens, NY dining at Gyros Town Restaurant instantly took me back to childhood where our neighbor invited our family over for hummus pita skewers and of course baklava. Eating here was so nostalgic and refreshing! Colorado needs more representation in these countries foods-- I am tired of the burgers and fried chicken spots!!!!!! The hummus at Gyros Town Restaurant was silky smooth, had great spiced and served with the warmest fluffiest pita I've had in Colorado. The gyro meat hit the spot on so many levels it's hard to really describe. The pistachio baklava was so delightful. Sweet but not too sweet-- flaky and of course baked fresh that day. Míriam greeted us when we walked in and helped to place our order. She was so kind and quick with her service. I am so glad I found a local spot with big immigrant flavors! Can't wait to be back soon :)

It feels very consistent for both locations so far. I think our family, especially our kids love how fresh and soft the pita bread. The hours were pretty convenient on a Saturday. They are open till 10:00 p.m. most days. I love their baba. Ghanoush and their salads are always fresh and have great flavor. For two adults and two children, six and seven a meat combo and appetizer and a salad. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items.

The stream of customers remained steady during my visit so it was pretty obvious there are more folks who feel the same. Ordering is simple where diners step up to a kiosk and place their order (dine in or to go) and watch the screen by the pick up window for when orders are ready. I went with the Nashville Hot and added an extra of Mike's Hot Honey. What a wonderful splurge that was! The chicken is tasty and the side coleslaw was good (not overly wet). Birdcall offers tea (highly recommend the mango), sodas and beer, and margaritas. The dining area is pretty spacious and was well maintained during my visit. The dining patio faces Hampden so it may get a little noisy from the traffic. The restaurant and its facilities are accessible friendly too.

Honestly, I don't understand the hype around this place. I've given this place a solid try by…read moreeating here twice. The first time I went and dined in with my boyfriend. He did actually like his sandwich. I can't remember the name, but it was the one with the pimento cheese. I got the Korean sandwich, and my sandwich was so soggy with sauce that the bun was falling apart and the breading on the chicken was not one bit crispy, but instead had a mushy texture and kept falling completely off the cutlet. The flavor of the sauce was just too salty with a little bit of sweet, but no real flavor profile other than that. When I get a fried chicken sandwich I want it to have some crunch. That's half the fun of eating fried chicken, in my opinion. The tots were ok, but nothing to write home about. I got one of the dirty sodas, which sounded good in theory, but I really didn't like it and ended up just throwing it away. My boyfriend got the house made strawberry lemonade and said it just tasted too tart. Upon trying it, I agreed. I'm the type of person who almost always gets lemonade if they make it in house, but did not have a high opinion of this one. He didn't end up finishing his drink either. Today we ordered take out from Birdcall for our whole family. My boyfriend was there to pick it up when it came out, and we live only 5 minutes up the street. This time was the same- my breading just keeps falling off the chicken, even though this time I got no sauce on my sandwich. That's super disappointing and makes it harder to eat. My son doesn't like the chicken tenders either and says they taste bad. I tried a piece, and I don't think it tastes bad, but it is definitely bland. All of the chicken seems a bit overcooked judging by the dark color of the breading that has gone a bit past the golden brown you expect with good fried chicken as well as the slightly rubbery texture of the chicken. My boyfriend ordered separately but picked up both our orders. He got home and said his Starry has no flavoring whatsoever. I tried my son's lemonade and it again is just kind of sour in flavor, with not enough sugar added. I thought maybe the first time we ate their they maybe just had their ratios off in that batch of lemonade, but I specifically didn't order it with my meal this time because of the experience last time. I guess my instincts were correct because this time it still wasn't good. Overall I just always end up wondering why I spent the money to eat at this place when the food and drinks are so lackluster. I'd sooner eat at Raising Cane's where the chicken is super crispy, tasty, and the breading stays intact, and they have delicious lemonade that they make in house. I will say that the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice enough and the bathrooms were clean. It was over air conditioned, but that tends to be the case whenever you eat at a restaurant in the summer. Either way, I still don't get the hype around this place, re: the reviews I read. If I were you, I'd skip this place.
