Sujok and lentil soup. Sujok is shredded beef mixed with cheese. It is great with the excellent tzatziki sauce.

We were out for a drive on the first sunny spring day in a week. The Yelp reviews for Potomac Street Grill brought us to this nice homey restaurant for lunch. The waitress brought the large menu and answered all our questions about the food. I asked about the sujok and was pleasantly surprised when the owner brought me a sample. It is lightly spiced shredded beef mixed with cheese served on a homemade roll. It was flavorful and filling. The tzatziki sauce was an excellent accompaniment.

Great food and service. Had the crab soup and BLT. A very extensive menu for a small restaurant.

This was the best shawarma I've ever had. The way that the spices intermingled with the rice and the juices of the lamb and chicken purely created a painting of flavor in my mind. I can't live with the fact that I couldn't finish it

My family ordered from this restaurant because, we wanted to eat something a little different. I love the falafel and the Gyro. The BBQ sandwich has a nice flavor too. The food is flavorful, simple, and I don't feel heavy after eating it. I'll definitely be returning. The service and the people are super nice.

Nice cold draft beer while sitting on the patio :-)

This is my new go to spot in Brunswick after riding on the C&O canal towpath! They've got a really nice little patio for outside dining, the service is excellent, and the food is outstanding! I've had the chicken curry and the chicken Shawarma so far and both were really really good. I will definitely be back the next time I ride from Brunswick :-) Back at the Potomac St., Grill today after a 30 mile ride on the towpath and once again PSG did not disappoint! 2 of us had chicken Shawarma and one of us had the chicken curry and mussels..mmm. Please show your support by checking out this fantastic little venue, the owner is doing everything he can to stay in business!

Watching our ponies out the window while we dig into THE BEST food!

It's a small mart that specializes in middle eastern Mediterranean cuisine and ingredients. They place does not have seating inside, but plenty of seating outside. So plan on either take out or picnicking. They make the food right as you order so things are fresh. The part I really liked about this place was that the sauces were not overly salted - to increase shelf life - and the amount of oil/butter was not overly used to try to mask the ingredients. It's more on the "let the ingredients speak for itself" which I really dig. In the end, you don't feel heavy after the meal and you feel like you had a hearty and healthy meal. My favorite was the lamb shawarma. He toasts the outside pita and it gives it a nice crunch. The lamb is fresher than other places and he doesn't over season it to hide the lamb smell. Other places - if you notice - tends to use cumin a lot of mask the lamb smell. Not here though. The falafel sandwich was okay. It was colder than the lamb shawarma. But the falafels were made right there in front of you. I got the sujuk sandwich too (which is a type of sausage). It was a breakfast burrito basically. Our order took 20 mins to make and he makes it right when you order. So be prepared to stay there and peruse around. Some ingredients there were interesting. The one thing that caught my eye was a bottle of pomegranate molasses. He sells it close to 50% what Harris Teeter would charge and he has various brands of pomegranate molasses. I use pomegranate molasses to make grenadine for cocktails. Also has orange blossom and rose water (also both used for cocktails) I like this place and the guy is nice and sweet.

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

So, it was a great test for the menu. We shared the hummus bil lahme, cheese rolls, and mixed grill, and every dish was excellent. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. There was a garlic sauce that was served with the mixed grill that needs to be sold so I can take more home. The menu is really good at explaining the dishes. The service was outstanding as well. We had a few questions, and the staff was patient, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere had a warm, welcoming vibe that made the whole experience even better. We both left happy and will definitely be back again. If you are bored with your local options this place would be really fun to try. He did not offer to bring me anything different, he did not offer to bring me a fresh meal, and he did not take the cost of the meal off our bill.
