Sujok and lentil soup. Sujok is shredded beef mixed with cheese. It is great with the excellent tzatziki sauce.

We were out for a drive on the first sunny spring day in a week. The Yelp reviews for Potomac Street Grill brought us to this nice homey restaurant for lunch. The waitress brought the large menu and answered all our questions about the food. I asked about the sujok and was pleasantly surprised when the owner brought me a sample. It is lightly spiced shredded beef mixed with cheese served on a homemade roll. It was flavorful and filling. The tzatziki sauce was an excellent accompaniment.

Great food and service. Had the crab soup and BLT. A very extensive menu for a small restaurant.

This was the best shawarma I've ever had. The way that the spices intermingled with the rice and the juices of the lamb and chicken purely created a painting of flavor in my mind. I can't live with the fact that I couldn't finish it

My family ordered from this restaurant because, we wanted to eat something a little different. I love the falafel and the Gyro. The BBQ sandwich has a nice flavor too. The food is flavorful, simple, and I don't feel heavy after eating it. I'll definitely be returning. The service and the people are super nice.

Nice cold draft beer while sitting on the patio :-)

This is my new go to spot in Brunswick after riding on the C&O canal towpath! They've got a really nice little patio for outside dining, the service is excellent, and the food is outstanding! I've had the chicken curry and the chicken Shawarma so far and both were really really good. I will definitely be back the next time I ride from Brunswick :-) Back at the Potomac St., Grill today after a 30 mile ride on the towpath and once again PSG did not disappoint! 2 of us had chicken Shawarma and one of us had the chicken curry and mussels..mmm. Please show your support by checking out this fantastic little venue, the owner is doing everything he can to stay in business!

Great food! Good service, could be cleaner, but the I'm sure the one waitress working was swamped with work, she was great though!

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. They notified my hubby that they needed 5 more minutes to get all our order cooked, and put together. Minor comment- though I like the flavor both green and tamarind sauces were a little thin. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

Most of them good, but as time has passed they've gone from great in 2019 to terrible in 2026. The other night I walked in and they were understaffed. Place was not busy with customers but only one guy working the front and he spent more time shooting the breeze than helping. Another lady was running around grabbing food and eventually walking out. Don't know if she was an employee or just a grubhub/doordash/self-employed person. No one ever got to me. I left eventually. On busy nights they also don't have enough employees. I've had to walk out hungry a couple times before. When I do get served the quality of the food gets a little worse each time. I've had too many undercooked meats, mixed up orders, food that was either unpleasant or just plain bland. And the service quality has slowly deteriorated. Employees are always polite, but more and more give the impression they are either burned out or just never gave a damn to begin with. They expect you to figure out your table number and you have to pay up front, which creates a clog in that narrow hallway and its a hassle every time. So tired of them. I decided I will not go back. I'm not hoping they see this review and fix everything. I am hoping customers see it and choose a better place. Oh, and being attached to a hotel, their parking is always a nightmare.

The restaurant is quiet with music playing in the background, but not so loud that you cannot talk. It was very clean with tables spaced well enough that you do not sit right next to someone else. The food, I was happy to see that they used Romaine instead of iceberg lettuce in the salad, the dressing is vinegar based with oil and herbs. It was a nice side. The shawarma sandwich has a very nice complexity of flavors and textures. The smell and flavor of the spices are warming. I would order it again and I would like to try the chicken shawarma sandwich next.

We started with an order of grape leaves, which tasted good, but were really tiny. He ordered the chicken kebab platter for his meal which he says was great. I ordered the moujadarah, which was quite dried out and overcooked. I mentioned this to the manager/server when he came to check on us. He looked at my dish and replied that yes, it was overcooked. He did not offer to bring me anything different, he did not offer to bring me a fresh meal, and he did not take the cost of the meal off our bill. The two guys working in the restaurant were both nice, but I was disappointed that, although they knew we were there for a birthday (they overheard us and told my partner happy birthday), they did not attempt to make my meal right in any way.
