The Joojeh Kabob and Kubideh Kabob
    Martin S.

I got both the kubideh (lamb)and joojeh (chicken) kabob with double rice for a bit over 30 dollars and it was a massive amount of food! The meat had great flavor and the rice was done to a science! The only thing I felt was lack luster was the pita besides that I would definitely come back

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. They notified my hubby that they needed 5 more minutes to get all our order cooked, and put together. Minor comment- though I like the flavor both green and tamarind sauces were a little thin. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

I ordered both the shawarma wrap and the beef kebab wrap. Both were good, filling, and hit the spot, especially when you're craving something quick and satisfying. Flavor-wise it was enjoyable, just not mind-blowing, which is why I went with four stars instead of five. Service was fast, staff was helpful, the prep area looked clean, and prices were reasonable for what you get. Definitely a good option if you want a quick Middle Eastern-style wrap without breaking the bank.

The staff were so sweet and helpful, making the whole order and pickup process smooth and enjoyable. The owner was especially accommodating and welcoming, which made us want to come back even more. I genuinely can't say enough good things about this place -- highly recommend!!

I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these. As well as the Turkish coffee, with an authentic ceramic and metal carafé presentation.

The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area with three four-seater tables, which was find for our two dogs. The experience overall was pretty low key, which necessarily is not a bad thing. Although there is waiter/waitress service, you will have to order your food at the cashier's counter. Actually, maybe that's only a thing if you are dining outside. The menu has a nice mix of Middle Eastern dishes. I went with a beef (or maybe it was lamb) kabob plate. The portions were fine and my meal was pretty good. It was not out of this world amazing, but it got the job done. I thought that the prices were pretty good for the area and the amount of food received. Although the food was fine, I do not think that I would go out of my way (e.g., driving more than 30 minutes) to dine here. Just be aware that the restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.

I guess I'm not that surprised, it's in a struggling mall with weak food court. I had work travel and was traveling back through Frederick in June 2023. I decided to stop at Francis Scott Key Mall to look around since I had never been in there. There was a cool rock & crystal store in there. Food court is more of a middle strip with some seats in the walkway. I was weighing my options of eating here or elsewhere in the Frederick area. I decided I was game to try Halal Diversity as they were nice, prices were reasonable, & looked promising. I got a rice, lamb or beef, or side salad. Wow, this was the best Halal restaurant I've had, better than Halal Guys! The sauce was delicious as was everything. If I ever was in Frederick again, I'd try to revisit this place.

Protein over rice, in a wrap, etc. there is plenty of seating in the back with access to two bathrooms. Chicken Platter came with rice with some sauce and a side salad of romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and maybe a bit of onion. The chicken had a hint of sweetness in it and the marinade was cumin heavy. Delicious with a mild kick. Steak burrito came with lots in it and was devoured quickly. They don't list what else is in the burrito but it was definitely also cheesy. Falafel gyro- with the green, moist falafels came grilled vegetables, mushrooms, on a fluffy pita. Loaded fries: crispy fries with steak, cheese, sour cream, grilled onions and peppers, and jalapeños. There was a bit of sweet sauce on the bottom that reminded me of a Thai chili sauce.

Good food! Relaxing atmosphere! What a nice oasis in hectic Breezewood!…read more We were skeptical to try this place. It just seemed unlikely we would find "real" food in this Pennsylvania pretzel-like junction between I-70 and the PA Turnpike filled with a collection of gas stations and fast food called Breezewood. And then there's Moe's Sultan Food restaurant! It serves really delicious freshly-made food from a vast menu, with European and Mid-eastern dishes alongside all-day breakfast and some standard American burgers and fries and soup and salad, and even some vegan selections! We had $6 delicious hot borscht, a classic bright-red Ukranian tomato-beet soup of potatoes and shredded cabbage and carrots, deliciously seasoned with onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. It was a chilly day (Dec 2025), and this light broth with hearty vegetables was the perfect meal. It came with a large warm fresh pita bread. We also got a cute little $3 pot of steeping Baghdad tea with cardamom, the very definition of cozy :-) We had a huge $10 wrap of freshly mixed freshly fried chickpea falafel, lightly crispy outside, tender and moist inside. The wrap was stuffed with veggies and a deliciously creamy tahini sauce. It was so large that we only finish half here, and carried the rest along for a later snack. This was better-made falafel than most restaurants near home, and I think that's because it is literally made fresh when you order it. This is a somewhat time-worn restaurant with seating for 50 in simple comfortable booths. They cleverly shade the windows with bright colorful screen-prints that, on the i side, present international views that are illuminated by sunlight through the windows, but completely screen you from the stream of vehicles and the landscape of gas stations. The counter where you pay has many packaged foods, including regular snacks and some international ones. Mara and a table-server made us feel welcome. For us it was a 30-min stop, because each item was made-to-order. When we want to relax a few minutes with really good food, this is now our go-to in Breezewood. Delicious and peaceful.
