    Gyro
    Ellie D.

On a nice day I would've loved sitting outside and enjoying my food, they have plenty of seating for it. There's a good amount of sitting inside too for it being a small place. I wish the menu had the prices listed though. What we got: Gyro - 4* I really enjoyed this and my only critique would be they need to find a better wrap. Gyros, in my opinion, deserve to be served in thicker, fluffier wraps, not the same kind of thin wrap that one uses for a veggie wrap. Make this one small adjustment and this gyro would be elevated by far. Mushroom Burger - 4* my partner got this one. "It was a savory burger with lots of grease and flavour. I'd get it again if I was in the mood for it." Chicken poppers (with honey pepper sauce) - 4* we got the 6 piece and could've been satisfied with one container of sauce but they gave us too. The chicken is moist and I thought tasted like your standard fast food chicken. It hit the spot. Cheesy fries - 4* this is a huge portion. Between the two of us we didn't finish it and took it home to see how it fares as leftovers. The fries are good and the cheese is good, overall pretty basic but yummy.

Delicious food, amazing protein portions. They definitely used high quality ingredients. Service was welcoming and very accommodating. 10/10 definitely going back!!

Pretty solid, juicy "pit stop" burger joint. Came here with fam and dog after we hiked Sugarloaf Mt on weekend. I ordered the double patty Smash Burger which is their only beef burger, and I added grilled onions and jalapeño which was free additions. I added fries for $5 more and it was seasoned well. Others in table had the Fish Burger, and more Smash Burgers -- extra patty. They accept Apple Pay here, if that helps. It was pretty great and filling, hit the spot. Outdoor seating in patio is great, sufficient parking out front. I don't think if I'd call this hole in the wall spot, but it's definitely a prime "pit stop" burger joint, especially as it's so close to a bike-able trail and nearby hiking trails in the area. It was good not great, but it was juicy and filling so I'll rate up. Overall satisfied with it.

The Smashburger with fries and their Big Belly sauce. This beast was incredible.

I tried this restaurant a few weeks ago because somebody was recommending it on Facebook. I ordered their Smashburger with the fries, and I have to say I was not disappointed. I asked for the burger well done, and that's the way it came. If there's one thing I cannot stand it's ordering a burger well done and getting it back with pink inside. Anyway, the burger was huge, juicy, and delicious. I can't wait to go back and try their mushroom Smashburger. The owner was incredibly nice and continued to talk to me pretty much throughout my entire meal. If you're looking for an amazing burger, do not miss out on this one.

If I could give 6 stars I would. We came through Big Belly's after biking on the C&O from DC. We were welcomed with warm service, a friendly smile, and the smell of something delicious cooking. The three of us ordered sandwiches and grabbed refreshing cold drinks from their cooler. The whole place was impeccably clean. My falafel pita wrap was crunchy, fresh, and perfect for filling my belly. It had pickles and olives too, so just a little bit salty as well. The guys were nice enough to clean my filthy water bottles and send me off with clean, full bottles. Whether you're biking through or driving by, make a stop in Point of Rocks for Big Belly's.

Smash burger, not plain as ordered!!!

My impression of the menu is that it's kind of a Middle Eastern, Mexican, American, everything place. The Philly sub was more of a flat sandwich than a traditional philly, different style of bread, but tasty and satisfying. I opted for the chips instead of the french fries to cut some calories Feels very much like an old school neighborhood pub. Looking around, and taking the fact that it's a very small town, I can see this being a social focal point for the area. A nice full bar. There wasn't anything to dislike about it, nice people, nice food, warm, and comfortable, easy five stars. BUT. The one thing that pushed it way over the top was that instead of standing there, awkwardly intimidating, with the card machine in their hand waiting for me to pay, THEY LEFT IT ON THE TABLE AND WALKED AWAY! I can't express how happy this made me. Little things go a long way.

It's a small mart that specializes in middle eastern Mediterranean cuisine and ingredients. They place does not have seating inside, but plenty of seating outside. So plan on either take out or picnicking. They make the food right as you order so things are fresh. The part I really liked about this place was that the sauces were not overly salted - to increase shelf life - and the amount of oil/butter was not overly used to try to mask the ingredients. It's more on the "let the ingredients speak for itself" which I really dig. In the end, you don't feel heavy after the meal and you feel like you had a hearty and healthy meal. My favorite was the lamb shawarma. He toasts the outside pita and it gives it a nice crunch. The lamb is fresher than other places and he doesn't over season it to hide the lamb smell. Other places - if you notice - tends to use cumin a lot of mask the lamb smell. Not here though. The falafel sandwich was okay. It was colder than the lamb shawarma. But the falafels were made right there in front of you. I got the sujuk sandwich too (which is a type of sausage). It was a breakfast burrito basically. Our order took 20 mins to make and he makes it right when you order. So be prepared to stay there and peruse around. Some ingredients there were interesting. The one thing that caught my eye was a bottle of pomegranate molasses. He sells it close to 50% what Harris Teeter would charge and he has various brands of pomegranate molasses. I use pomegranate molasses to make grenadine for cocktails. Also has orange blossom and rose water (also both used for cocktails) I like this place and the guy is nice and sweet.
