This place could do so much more business if they were more clear on pricing. I bought a side chair today. The original price was $389. The original price was on the chair, with a 60% off sign over the entire section of chairs. I assumed I'd be paying $155.60 for the chair. When we took it up to the cashier, it ended up being $72 before tax. I was thrilled! The receipt matched the chair description. I'm thinking people assume that this place is a lot more expensive than it actually is. Do yourself a favor and be more clear on pricing, please! Love the chair, by the way! read more

Pottery Barn Outlet is well organized, spacious and offers a decent selection of items to choose from, for instance: bar stools, now this was my favorite area because I have been looking for the perfect bar stools FOREVER. They offer a plethora of sizes to accommodate any size bar height you need. They also have several furniture sitting options, glassware, robes, mirrors, wicker, rugs and bedding. I was not impressed at all with the Pottery Barn Outlet. I found the furniture to be mostly uncomfortable and I love oversized pieces, that's all I purchase. What I did find to be reasonable were the bath robes that were 50% off, so they were priced at $50. There was a limited supply of glass ware and plates. I honestly expected more from the store. I can't say the employee were helpful because none of them were walking around to offer any type of assistance. They were all literally huddled at the checkout and a couple were eating McDonald's...... really???????? come on now......... And why are the prices overly, ridiculously expensive for an outlet????? All Sales are final......so review your purchases with a fine tooth comb. No, I definitely would not recommend. read more

I had no idea there's a Pottery Barn outlet close to me! Off I went. I really needed a new fitted sheet and since the closure of BB&B, it's been a bit frustrating finding a suitable one in person and I refuse to buy sheets online because I cannot feel the texture of said sheets. I figured they would have a good selection, but I was sorely disappointed to find that their normal sheets selection are quite limited. Don't get me wrong, they had an abundance of PB teen sheets and such, but for adults, there wasn't much. As far as the store went, I was impressed with the options of furniture and other household decor items. In the PB teen section, I found myself quietly debating whether I should come home with some Harry Potter items. They had robes, aprons, and even carry-on and full sized HP luggage. I walked away. I couldn't justify spending $249 for luggage at the outlet store. I was really hoping it would have been for a good value, but it was literally the same price as the non-outlet store. Odd. Also, I didn't really notice a lot of employees while there. It could explain why the sheets section was quite unorganized. They had a bin of individual sheets and pillow cases where random things of different sizes were thrown into, I guess, with the expectation that the customer would dig through said bins. I had no patience for it, to be honest, and some of them had the packaging ripped and re-taped. No thanks, especially not for the same price as a normal PB store or a barely discounted item. read more

I was visiting St Louis and we stopped at the Pottery Barn Outlet in Fenton MO. The selection and value is very good. The service at this location from Lexi and her team was the best I have experienced in years! I bought a large ceramic turkey for serving stuffing. I was wondering how to carry it on a plane home. Lexi took her time and actually went in the back room to got one in a box that she said would be ok to check! She was right, it made it through 2 different aircraft and did not break. She also helped me have something moved to another store location that I forgot. Lexi and her team are unbelievable!!! I would give this location a 100 stars if I could! Not fantastic, friends. I worked at PB & PB Kids for about a decade altogether, and to me, it kinda looks like they mark things up astronomically and then put them on "sale." I went a few days ago. Found a pretty piece of wall art... it was a lemon painting. The canvas itself was about 5 x 7 so quite small, and it was in a gold frame. This was not by Rembrandt, ok? It was just a random lemon. There was no packaging, and it was damaged and missing the paper backing that should have been there. It was $238. Yay, I could get it for the low, low price of $67 with tax. I mean...what? Why wouldn't I just go to an antiques mall and buy an ACTUAL antique for $40? This is pretty par for the course here. And as far as bedding goes, you need to either COMPLETELY luck out and find a quilt and all the shams (of correct size) together, or skip it entirely. If the dye-lot is off at all (something that frequently happens anywhere), you can't return a thing and you'll be stuck. All in all, I'd rather just save up and buy from the real store. read more

This is a true Pottery Barn Outlet store. The space is very large, organized, and easy to navigate. Merchandise consists of Warehouse Returns, Open Box Items, Seasonal Items, some New and Current Catalog (per allocations) merchandise, and some Scratch and Dent items. The products they carry come from all of the Pottery Barn Line of Stores including Pottery Barn Kids and Williams Sonoma. Pottery Barn only sells high quality made in America products. Pottery Barn Furniture is built to last. The items are marked at or near catalog/retail store price and then there is a discount when you walk into the physical Outlet Store. I only look at items when they are 50%, 60% or more off that ticketed price. This is a great store to get Baby Shower or New Baby Gifts. This location has a large Pottery Barn Kids Area. I also really watch the Lighting Department in the store. I am forever ready to change Lighting in my home. There is also a tremendous amount of Bedding and Linens at this Outlet. Seasonal Merchandise is often deeply discounted and can make great gifts. All Sales are Final at this store. Be an informed shopper. Check the Retail Pottery Barn Store and Website before making a big purchase to make sure you are getting a good price. The regular Pottery Barn store also runs great sales. This store only offers Third Party Delivery so you may need to find a friend of family member to help you pick up a purchase. Meh. There's a decent selection of PB Kids, Baby & Teen in addition to regular PB items. However, as other reviewers noted, the discounts are negligible and the selection is not as good as the website. In fact, items are not much cheaper than one can find on the website during a promotion. There is a smaller, miserably disorganized selection of discounted pieces (eg giant brown boxes full of unmarked curtains, duvet covers, etc) but finding anything within those areas is difficult, taxing and hardly worth the effort as the manager seems dedicated to collecting the highest price tag she can muster. Example: I spent 45 minutes digging through bins to find three matching pillows. Only one had a price tag and it read 'outlet price $49.99.' At checkout, the manager informed me that they are $69 which is exactly what they cost on the website. Wow. Ok. Thanks for nothing. All and all - it's not really worth the trip unless you are bored and have some time to kill. Definitely do not make the trek if you are looking for something specific because you can probably find it on the website for only few dollars more and it will be in perfect condition and shipped for free. read more

Delivery is through a third party and a bit expensive, but done same or next day in my case since I made my purchases late in the day. Overall very happy with store. Totally found this in a random shopping plaza?!? It is in the county about 20 minutes south of the city. I enjoyed hunting and pecking for some deals. When you walk in, they had an "discount board" that had more savings than the price tags. I took a picture and referred to it while shopping. Most of the large furniture is about what you would expect from Pottery Barn, however there were some crazy cheap deals on sectionals ($199 !!!) If only I had a truck... (Disclaimer: you have to pick up your purchases that day!) To give you an idea of the savings I picked up 2 twin sized duvets, a nightstand lamp and a medium-sized iron hammered table for $150! This is an actual outlet and there are lots of good deals to be found here but you're going to need to have some patience. Last year shortly after they first opened I stopped by and ended up finding the matching components to the bedding I have from Pottery Barn. I probably spent about $125 to replace what would have been about $500 retail. Another time they had a bunch of Williams Sonoma cook books. I bought quite a few of them to give as gifts. Today I was looking for more of the small appliance items from Williams Sonoma. They had some of these on my last visit but not today. That's the breaks of outlet shopping! The old adage "Buyer Beware" applies here. We recently made a few purchases from PBO. The first was the Harper Tufted Upholstered Tall Bed. I was confused by the pricing. There were 3 separate prices. Apparently they ring up the headboard separate from the rest of the bed; one sticker was the headboard price, one was the rest of the bed and the written price was the total of those. I went to check out not knowing what I was going to pay. Furniture was 40% off that weekend, so in the end it was a fair price and so far I am happy with the bed. Also, it was missing the leg supports for slats, but I called and the manager was able to find them. I had to make the extra trip, but I felt the manager was helpful and wanted us to be happy with our purchase. This weekend we bought the Winslow Metal Arc Sectional Floor lamp. It was new in the box and 60% off. Score. Except, it was pictured on the box with a shade and no where on the box did it say No Shade. Well, no shade in the box and there was only one shade in the store that fit the Winslow and it was dented. And apparently it belonged to a lamp that someone else had bought and left behind. Again, an extra trip. I will give the manager props for trying to satisfy us, and I did end up buying the dented shade so that I am able to use the lamp. But it felt wrong to be paying for something that someone else left behind. I waffled between 3 or 4 stars. The manager's actions made the difference. Just know what you are buying, what you are paying for it, and try to be sure you have all the parts! read more

This place is literally a Godsend for my husband and i who have expensive taste in furniture without a budget to match. They offer beautiful Pottery Barn merchandise at a fraction of the cost. You have to go into it knowing that there is a reason these items are so cheap. Most of them have imperfections or are missing pieces. They are marked 'as is' on their tag and you should inspect them before purchasing since they are final sales. We were able to get a cabinet for towels in our bathroom today for $80 from $225. What a steal! We also picked up a distressed coat rack for $20 and some towels for our daughter's bathroom. Make sure you have lots of time to spend because everything is located in a large warehouse that you have to sift through. The only downside is they have a lot of teenage boys working there that are difficult to find to help you move/load anything and look pretty miserable to be there. My mom had the wrong chair loaded and had to bring it back the last time she went but they were really apologetic. read more

Two stars because of their bad customer service and the return policy. Warehouse atmosphere. Only open on weekends. A great place to get discounted Pottery Barn (incl PB Kids & PB Teen), Williams-Sonoma and West Elm products, however BUYER BEWARE - ALL SALES ARE FINAL; MANAGER WILL MAKE NO EXCEPTIONS. I purchased three glass trays in early December to give as holiday/birthday gifts. The trays were stacked in their original sealed boxes on a pallet with a sample of the tray sitting on top of the pallet. One of the recipients I gifted a tray to discovered the glass was broken when she opened the box and removed the product from the packing material. After she returned the broken product to me, I called PB Customer Service. I was told since the purchase was from their PB Outlet store, I would need to call the store directly (I had to wait until Fri when it opened). When I called on Fri, the associate I spoke to remembered the trays & pallet display and although they no longer had the trays in stock, would talk to the manager to see what could be done (refund/store credit). The associate put me on hold and after speaking with the store manager, apologized and advised me the manager would not take a return - even with a receipt. The only way to have known one of the trays was damaged would have been to cut open each box, remove the styrofoam packing materials, and inspect the product - I would have needed a box cutter to do this and packing tape to reseal it. The receipt does state ALL SALES ARE FINAL, however with products that are packed in sealed boxes where possible damage is not visible I would expect at least a store credit after unknowingly purchasing a broken item. I assume I'll need to bring a box cutter and tape gun with me if I shop here again! read more

I got a great deal on a dinning room table and chairs. It was discounted and then they had an additional 30% off furniture. You need to check the merchandise closely to make sure you are satisfied with the condition for the price. The return policy is not good so make sure you really want the item. It is like buying from a warehouse or garage sale so expect that type of atmosphere. read more
