Ordered a dining table table from Pottery Barn and the paint started to chip and peel from the top of the table and the sides after one year. Definitely not the quality you expect to receive when you spend $1,000 on a 4 person table. Customer service was disappointing to say the least, not reaching out with follow up after I submitted the complaint to their customer service team, regardless of providing both my email and phone number. Instead I had to call back to follow up on the issue and was told Pottery Barn simply suggested reaching out to furnituremedic.com to repair the paint. When you are about to open a 15 year old cab sauv that was specially bottled for you, well, you need a wine decanter. I hadn't always been too good with this huge (3L) bottle of wine and didn't know what to expect, but the decanter that I found at this Pottery Barn was perfect. Not only was it large, but it also was on sale! This wasn't the first place I'd looked for a decanter in the area, but I'm super glad that I did pop in here because it was the last place I needed to look! I also picked up a few more wine glasses for an incredible price (on sale too). I'll definitely check out this Pottery Barn again when I'm in need of a specialty item, and you should too! The wine? We needed to buy a decanter for Thanksgiving and we had three stores from which to choose. Pottery Barn had the perfect decanter that was on sale and the cheapest we could find so we got lucky. There were also wine glasses on sale, so we picked up a couple. The sales clerk was very helpful and did not try to up sell us. The merchandise in the store was set up for Christmas and ready for the Black Friday sale. Definitely a great place to buy Christmas presents. read more

The downtown Spokane Pottery Barn has such great customer service. With a couple very limited exceptions, I have had gold star customer service from the staff here. Even if I purchased something online they were willing to answer order questions, help with suggestions, etc. as a result we've returned to buy many more items. I can't speak to other stores but I have been totally impressed with the store and the staff. If you aren't 100 percent satisfied with an item they will make it right and make new suggestions because they want you to love your items. I wish all stores were this good. read more

Pottery Barn is always my main attraction when shopping. It is curious though because I have old world taste yet I find so many items that compliment my home. PB pulls the old with the new beautifully. Many looks are actually quite traditional but any taste modern or other can find items you wouldn't think of using. I love the tableware, the lanterns, candles and my favorite the baskets. So happy you are in the area! read more

Where do you start on Pottery Barn? Most of the staff is extremely nice, well intentioned people. However, Pottery barn website stated that almost all the furniture was ready to be delivered and shipped in 2-3 weeks. How exciting right?! Wrong. Most ended up being back ordered AFTER i bought the furniture. After repeated called To the store I finally got them to ship my order in two shipments (they like to wait for all pieces to come before shipping anything, I had over 15 different things). I would periodically get emails from Pottery barn stating something was indefinitely backordered. Then after canceling and buying elsewhere, getting a call the very next day my order was ready to deliver. Then after cancelling almost my entire 20k order. I settled on just buying chairs from them. They didn't all come in like they were supposed too. However, no one called to inform me they had to return the order and reorder them. They just did it and then apologized for not informing or what they had to do. Let me tell you, Pottery Barn was the easy button. I didn't want to spend hours finding furniture etc etc. However, after having to reorder everything I had originally bought from them, from another place. I learned that Pottery barn sells mostly veneer. Sure there is high quality veneer but the bottom line, you're paying a lot for veneer. Although I do love most of the staff at pottery barn. I think I'll stick with getting their magazines, looking at ideas and buying my furniture at Madison's. read more

I can't say enough good things about Pottery Barn's staff at their downtown Spokane location! The manager Kim sets the tone, and her staff follows their leader. Before I moved back to the Spokane area I had called and spoken to Michelle, one of the designers. My conversation with her made me want to seek her out when I was ready to begin decorating our home. For the last year, I have purchased many things there, mostly with Michelle's help. Everyone in this store is so pleasant. I just love to stop in there to see what's new. I have lived in other locations and frequented other PB stores - this one, by far, is the friendliest and most helpful and most professional. I feel as though they always "have my back." I have always enjoyed shopping at the Riverpark Square Pottery Barn. They are always so helpful and friendly, and have so many new furnishings to explore with every visit. My most recent purchase was a large area rug. The salesperson, Kim, was super helpful and spent a lot of time helping me select the perfect rug to accent my furniture. Outstanding service, as usual! If there were ZERO stars, I would give that. Nicest people in the world up until we placed a huge home furnishing order. We signed up and then the service stopped. We waited 12 weeks for the order, and not so much as a phone call, we had to call in to find our own furniture. No one bothered to tell us half of it was on back order, and would be an additional couple or weeks. We took what they had, and canceled the rest. Never once did our sales lady (Leslie) contact us to see how everything was, or how the delivery went, or even to just say hey its gunna be just a bit longer. We used their Zero Interest credit line, and got only 1/3 of our items on it, they said it was because of the delay in the ordering, but we bought it all and paid for it all at the same time, so why is it our problem if their orders are messed up. Customer service refused to refund the interest of 70 bucks, and yes its 70 bucks, so not that big of deal, but when you sign up for 0% interest it should be 0%. WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN Terrible customer service, and just could not give two craps once they had our money. We paid off the account and closed it. Never to be used again. read more

I have always wanted a headboard from Pottery Barn. We are remodeling our condo so this was my chance. Leslie was perfect at helping choose a fabric to match the paint and a design for my taste. She went into the the order 3 different times to be certain I could get some added discounts. Leslie had some relevant and cutting-edge ideas for the rest of the bedroom. Finally I had help!
