Outstanding. This was work done a long time ago, but it still holds. Dr. Potts did a cleaning, as well as 'touching up' some cap work that another doctor didn't do right (it was really troubling my bite, which is why I got the work done in the first place). WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a group of dedicated professionals! Dr. Michael Potts saved an implanted tooth that was in seriously bad shape and infected. Its been over a year now and the implant is in great shape, many Kudo's, to him and his team. The office staff seem warm and friendly and Dr. Potts seemed competent from what I read, but..... 1) I asked for a flouride rinse after my cleaning and they tried to charge me about $35-50 for a rinse. Can't remember exactly but had to fight to get rid of this charge. 2) dr. Potts rubbed cold sore medicine on a cold sore and made it the worst ever, then tried to charge ~$50 for his miracle drug. I got a cleaning in August i paid $ 300 for it out of pocket with very good insurance i never received any other bill regarding the visits and today returning for a new procedure i was informed that i had not paid in full for august and that i received fillings and i owed $ 280 more dollars on the august cleaning. I have never had fillings done in this office and will take the madder to court if they try to say i did. I have never received another bill regarding the august visits in all these months. Amazing dentist. I had to a tooth extracted due to root canal failing. I was desperate because of the pain but also extremely scared. The office was able to fit me in and the next day get it started. I have been seeing Dr. Michael Potts for many years now. I was originally referred to him, by a previous dentist (periodontist) who had been unable to solve my problem with a early implant he had done when implants were still considered experimental. He had said Dr. Potts was a early pioneer in the new technology and eventually sent me to him. Dr. Potts did eventually solve the problem and also did a couple other implants and a new one a few weeks ago. He also did some bone grafting, over an area of bone loss which worked well and a few months later the new implant. He also created a bridge of two new implant teeth that was very creative. My problem in the front of my mouth upper and lower I believe began when I had fallen on my face as a teenager, when it all began, causing perio problems, including some really terrible gum surgeries and some good ones and finally the first experimental implant and finally Dr. Potts. Over the years I had seen many dentists some horrid, some not so great and some excellent periodontists, but Dr. Potts is the best. Also the deep cleanings I have received in Dr. Potts office have been the best. The dental techs working with Dr. Potts have also been the best and are very knowledgable and have been encouraging during my various implant processes. It's not fun getting Dental work and the pain can sometimes be very trying and the expenses can be hard to deal with, but Dr.Potts and his staff, make it more bearable and makes me confident that all will be well. I began seeing Dr Potts many years ago I wish I had started there ten years earlier. I used to live in Ventura County and worked in Camarillo, but for a long time I drive the 70 minutes to see Dr. Potts. My only complaint now is that they do not take my dental ins as provided by my Kaiser health plan which is Delta, but under Kaiser and Dr. Potts is not on their list even though they usually take regular Delta. read more

I'd never go anywhere else! I live in Woodland Hills and work in Chatsworth, but always make the hour drive because it's totally worth it. My whole family does the same thing! Though I brush, brush, brush and floss, floss, floss, I tend to get cavities often. I must have soft teeth? Dr. Potts always does a great job fixing me up and everyone always comments on how white and perfect my teeth look. This is largely due to the fact that they are basically plastic surgeons for your teeth and only use superior products for fillings and crowns...none of that metal stuff. All porcelain that's matched perfectly to the color of your teeth. I can't even tell which teeth have had work and which teeth haven't. They are really amazing! I love going to see Dr. Pott's wife for cleanings. She's super gentle and thorough and makes the whole thing really easy and painless. Thanks guys, love you! read more

Went to Potts Dental for a second opinion. Dr. Derek was honest and so helpfull. He did a consultation at no charge. He was even able to quickly take care of a small imperfection on my tooth at no cost. This spot on my tooth had bugged me for years and my regular dentist never offered any remedy.
