I was a little weary of these guys at first because of the reviews I read online, but I surprisingly had a pretty good experience here. I got the usual sales pitches, emails and phone calls but at the end of the ordeal I got what I consider to be a great deal and experience. I worked mostly with Kevin Walz and Jon Snyder. Both competent and nice salesman. I was impressed with the delivery phase of the sale and I wasn't too sure why they scheduled a 2 hr time block for a familiarization tour with one of techs for an 18' trailer but I am glad they did. I can't remember his name, maybe Kevin...but he was extremely competent and thorough in showing me the inner workings of every component on the trailer. I want it to be clear that I am not reviewing the service at this dealership. The service department has been very friendly and helpful as possible. My review is for Forest River, the manufacturer that Poulsbo represents. When my wife and I purchased our new trailer 5 years ago we purchased a new 26' special edition travel trailer. We purchased a Forest River because the build quality and appearance seemed better than our previous trailer and most of the others we have seen. Since the purchase we have come to find that the folks building Forest River are just as inattentive and wreckless as the others. So far we have had a couple of serious issues, one of which caused our vacation to end prematurely. The first problem was when we lost all our power on a vacation trip because the builders rounded the main power feed over the top of a frame rail and then sandwiched it under the flooring. That eventually shorted everything out and the dealership fought to get that repaired under warranty. The latest was found when we took our trailer in for routine maintenance and to check on a fading problem with the special edition colored nose cap. While doing repairs and inspections they found an over tightened nut on an axle that had caused a wheel bearing to seize and burn up. As far as the complaint with the cap, the folks at Forest River said they had a substandard vendor and that they had to replace the caps but only during a short period. Ours was not covered even though the cap is fading. So Forest River has poor customer service and we will never recommend their products. Especially special editions that have a higher MSRP than most. Forest River is not to be trusted! read more

The service department at Poulbo RV in Auburn is terrible! I took my newer class B in for an electrical issue - the generator popped a breaker a few minutes after starting it. We don't use the generator much and have neglected to fix it for that reason but it does in EVERY time. First, we had an appointment for about a month out and when I called to say I was going to be a few minutes late I was rudely told that if it was more than a half hour I would have to reschedule because they were tightly booked. I was there 20 minutes late and then sat around for 30 minutes waiting for Allysia to help me! Then I take her to the van to clearly indicate the issue and ask if someone will call me back later that day to let me know what they find? NO, they might be able to get to it next week as the appointment today was just to check it into the queue! Also, no mention of a charge for an estimate. Then they called and said it was working fine and all I needed was a generator service (oil, filter, plugs - I could have told them that by looking at the hour meter - and I would need to pay for the parts and then reschedule an appointment later for the service. I told them I was picking it up and they charged me $338. when I showed up for the diagnostic estimate which didn't show anything but a routine service was needed! Then immediately upon arriving home I started the generator and of course the breaker tripped!! My first bad experience with Poulsbo was in Des Moines and I didn't learn and thought Auburn might be better. No. Awful service, rude and unknowledgeable staff, and they charge you for doing nothing. My 73 yr old Mom bought a 22' travel trailer from the auburn location, the salesman Shawn McLendon seemed like the typical "used car salesman" she took delivery of the travel trailer and me and my brother did a personal walk through after delivery and found that the tip-out had wet rot on the bottom, the batteries wouldn't hold a charge and there were several burned out bulbs. we called the business manager to tell them what we had found, they told us they'd come get the trailer to repair the issues. The next day, the Business Manager called my mom to inform her because it would take 3-4 days to get parts and repair her trailer they would upgrade her to a newer one for an additional 500.00...she paid $12,000.00 for the trailer that had so many issues...in the end she is getting a better deal...on the original trailer there was no walk through on delivery. the Auburn location made good on a bad sale!! read more

Last summer the service department here stated my awning which wasn't working, wasn't repairable and needed replaced to the tune of ~$4000. We had resigned ourselves to potentially having to replace it, then took the RV to Auburn-Kent RV last week where after a very easy investigation, discovered there was a broken wire that was easily fixed with a ~$5 part. The awning works perfectly now, and did *not* need replaced. Poulsbo RV in Auburn didn't even take the cover off the motor box to see if it was fixable, in essence we were lied too. These guys are more worried about making a big sale than actual customer service. When my wife called about something else, they treated her horribly, basically talked down to her the whole time and even had the audacity to say to her ".. well, honey.." which totally pissed her off. We won't use this business if at all possible. read more

We had a great experience working with Poulsbo Rv in Auburn. We came in from the Tacoma Rv show one late afternoon and met John Snieder and showed us a rig my husband has been eyeing for a while. John let us take our time and ask lots of questions never was a pushy salesman and make us feel rushed or wasting his time. Finance Adrian and Jim were fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to make it happen and we got our first class-A. Did our walk thru with Jenson and he was awesome too he spent lots of time with us and was very thorough with our questions and going through the entire motor coach. Beware of "Bait and Switch", in your down payment discussion at the dealership. You discuss a lower in down payment and then you sit to go over cost and the down gets bumped up to a ridiculous amount. A sticker on the windshield isn't what you will pay for the vehicle. A RV that shows a sticker of $79995, is more likely $80K, with another 8k for taxes, plus all of the additional that can easily be another $10k, so now you're at $98k. Be careful because all of this becomes waste minutes after you purchase and leave the dealership. Make sure you buy the best size and remember that as a trade-in you're screwed. read more

We purchased a 2003 5th wheel in Sept 2013 at the Auburn store. Our saleswoman was nice and helpful, so was the service tech that walked us through our delivery detail. The store manager made several promises that fell a long way short of good service and customer satisfaction. We were promised a 5th wheel hitch installation as part of our trailer purchase. Well... We did get a hitch... A low cost, entry level hitch that really shouldn't have been installed in a short box Ford 350 trying to pull a 37' ft fifth wheel. A "slider hitch" should have been installed to assist in cornering and backing this trailer up. When I asked about this at delivery I was told it was "no big deal" and there was plenty of clearance. This just isn't true! I've had at least 4 other RV shops tell me it's the wrong hitch for the size trailer and truck I have and it's VERY limited on cornering and unable to back into even a slightly tight spot. I trusted their input at Poulsbro and their expertise. Big mistake! In addition, the awning on the trailer had several tears and holes in it. The manager agreed to replace it before delivery. Upon delivery day it was only taped up and I was told that this was customary when fixing an awning. They told be the tape would last for years. I asked why it wasn't replaced and was told that the manager wouldn't authorize it. We had driven over 200 miles to pick up the trailer and spent the night in a hotel and all the next day on the delivery. I didn't feel like arguing with them but felt taken advantage of and lied too. Basically, it feels like this manager would tell us anything to get the sale and then once your name is on the dotted line.... All bets are off. It's been 3 weeks now since the delivery and there was never a follow up customer satisfaction call or any further communication from anyone. I even had to follow up with them about the licensing delays and paperwork. They promised to call me back on it and nothing happened. By the way.. We took the trailer out this weekend. The first time I rolled out the awning it ripped and the tape peeled of in the rain. This was the repair job they did in lieu of replacement that was supposed to last "for years"! My thoughts are... I will never buy from an out of state dealer again, I won't deal with Poulsbro, and I won't be foolish enough to take the word of a dealership again assuming because they are professionals they will do the right thing for their customers. Found what appeared to be the perfect truck camper online. We called the sales manager who said it was in mint condition and that it was well worth the six hour drive from Bend to Auburn. We get there to discover water damage! We took a day off work, spent god-knows-what on deisel fuel to get there and they tell us it's an additional 2K to fix the water damage if we want the camper. And that was that. We were out all our fuel and time because they were TOO LAZY to inspect the camper before selling. Do NOT go there if you live far away because you will be lied to on the phone. read more

Best experience I could have asked for, every member of their team was great.Daniel was our salesman, and he alone deserves 10 stars minimum. He was very patient with me, and not pushy one bit to get me out of my budget even though he knew I could go at a higher priced RV. There was even a point where he put off leaving early to head out for vacation so that I could come and take one final look at the RV to make sure it was the one I wanted, he didn't complain or give me attitude at the least.Next there was Adrian the finance guy, even though I know it's his job he fought tooth and nail to get me my loan which was a bit hard to do since I am self-employed and at that a new business. He was honest and upfront about the whole process, and even got me a lower rate than three of my credit unions offered altogether. Lastly there was Vic, the sales manager. He took care of all of my concerns and repairs needed in the RV after the paperwork was signed, it would've been very easy for him to say sorry it's already a done deal and this is as is but he went the extra mile to assure 100% customer satisfaction. have read all these wonderful reviews about Tim Johnson and the service department and the whole " I had an amazing experience at Poulsbo Auburn" and I can't help but wonder where this company was during my service encounter with them. It has been horrible. I have felt lied to, shrugged off, and misguided during my entire experience. Everything from changing my repair details, without any type of notification, to horrible workmanship on my travel trailer. On top of that being made to feel that I shouldn't be asking any questions because I'm not familiar with how RVs work. Tim Johnson has not done anything to make me feel like I was an appreciated member of the Poulsbo family of buyers. Its been quite the opposite. We recently had a series of life-changing events that let us to Poulsbo RV in Auburn. We have a 6-yr old who is terminally-ill and decided to get out and do as much as possible. So, with a specific budget (somewhat limited) and an idea of what we wanted to do, we started looking. We settled on Class- 'A' motorhomes as they would best meet our needs and requirements. Over the past 12 months, we looked at many RVs located at many dealers as well as for-sale-by-owner coaches. The quality varied across a wide range, from units in horrible condition to the immaculate. Most of the coaches that we liked were either out of our price-range or, would have resulted in a budget that was stretched terribly thin. Our search led us back to Poulsbo RV. Even though most listings for used RVs are on their website, CALL THEM. They have many coaches that come in on trade and sometimes it takes a few days for those to show up in the online listings. We called and spoke with the internet sales team and drove to Auburn to take a look at some of the used coaches on the lot. On the phone we spoke to Paul, but he was at another Poulsbo location the evening we arrived, so his associate Alex showed us what they had. Although we looked at many motorhomes that afternoon, the first one that we looked at grabbed our attention, and we ultimately circled back to that coach. It was within our price range, although at the upper end. There was no high-pressure sales pitch, Alex simply showed us the coaches that we wanted to look at and recommended the ones within our price range. We looked at some above the range to compare the value and features. Alex highlighted the amenities and features of each coach and then moved on to the next so that my wife and I could have frank, non-pressured discussions about what we were looking at. We finished looking at coaches and let Alex know that we had some more coaches to look at the next couple of days. We had Paul's contact information, and Alex provided us with his. We looked at three comparable coaches at dealers in the local market place (same year, manufacturer, model, and in two cases, same floor plan/layout). While overall, they were in the same condition, many of the coaches hadn't been cleaned, which surprised us because we had scheduled appointments to look at them. The coach at Poulsbo RV was very clean, and immaculate, and in-fact it had even been staged with interior plants, place settings, etc. The comparable coaches were priced somewhat lower, however the attention to detail and friendliness led us back to Poulsbo. Poulsbo may take some coaches that aren't in great shape as trade-in, however those coaches never make it onto their lot for resale. Our coach was like brand new inside. The carpet, cabinets, furniture, upholstery, dash and bath were all in excellent condition. We told Paul what our budget was and the figure that we had to work with. Paul worked with the GSM and GM of the dealership and we purchased our coach at a competitive price-point. We purchased the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) which I highly recommend. Brad and the service team went through the coach top to bottom and then performed a walk-through with us and highlighted the features and functions of the coach. They also walked us through the PDI and any items that had been fixed or that needed to be fixed. Overall we are very happy with Poulsbo RV in Auburn. Will Rogers and his team (Paul, Brad, Tina and the rest of the crew) made sure that we had a quality coach that met our needs and was ready to go. read more

Purchased a new travel trailer at Poulsbo RV, Auburn location. It leaked when new but we didn't know, as we bought it in early Summer and it wasn't until the Fall / Winter seasons that we noticed the leaks. We were told it was 90 days out of warranty for leaky seals, as the sealants were only warranted for 90 days. We complained to Service and Sales management at the Auburn and Kent locations and never obtained satisfaction or any level of service at all. We complained to the Better Business Bureau, who also tried getting us service, but with no results. We would recommend to all, NOT to do business with the Poulsbo RV businesses at any of their locations. read more

I am so disappointed in the Poulsbo RV in Sumer. I purchased a new travel trailer in October and when we went to use it the first time the refrigerator did not work. You would think they had checked everything out before we purchased it, guess not! We called to get it in and we're told the were backed up and it would be 6 weeks before we could get it in! We waited the 6 weeks and brought it in 2 weeks prior to Memorial weekend, we had camping reservations that weekend. I was hoping they could get it repaired in time. We dropped it off on a Friday and called the following Friday to see how it was going, they had not even looked at it yet! Well then why did we bring it in? Just in case they had time to look at it. If they ever get to it we will have to wait for parts or a new refrigerator. We have reservations all summer and might not be able to use our new trailer. This business does not take care of its customers and I would not recommend it to any one! Horrible customer service and poor follow thru! read more

I just picked up my 2014 Forest River FR3 from Poulsbo today. I worked with them 2 weeks ago at the Seattle RV show and dealt with Jim Renzo as the sales person, Rachelle in finance and Kevin in service/commissioning. I have to say I'm very happy with the service that I received and the end product. I specifically addressed some of the commentary that I've seen on Yelp with Jim as we were talking and he immediately escalated/introduced the branch manager to me, who was sincere and honest about areas where they wanted to improve. I liked these guys and decided to move forward *if* they could earn my business. Jim was businesslike and worked to get the deal that we needed, Rachelle worked effectively and enthusiastically to get the right deal that met our requirements and budget (which wasn't easy) and Kevin was patient and methodical with our walk through. Our RV was ready, clean serviceable and with a full tank of gas when we picked it up and more importantly, they were on schedule with minimal wasted time. We noted some factory issues at acceptance and those that were fixable immediately they took care of right in front of us and we have a solid plan for the other minor issues. I have no doubt that they will take care of me as the inevitable little issues come up breaking the rig in. I am not a shill, I appreciate good service and I feel that it's important to offer a counterpoint to experiences others have shared. The real proof will be in the long term of course, but I feel after today we are off to an excellent start. I would also note, that we did extensive research as to exactly what we wanted, the price we felt was reasonable - i.e. balancing the small premium for a local dealer who is vested in our loyalty versus an anonymous but cheaper internet wholesaler. In the end, it was a clean and easy transaction on both sides, I think a qualified buyer, who knows what they want (and are getting into) coupled with some clear, reasonable requirements that the dealer can meet to get you to 'yes' goes a long way to a mutually happy outcome. Took my Class C to be washed at the Auburn Poulsbo RV. Made an appointment on Friday. Soonest they could schedule an appointment was the following Monday at noon. Got there at 11:30. Asked if they could inspect the roof while it was there. They seemed quite shocked that I would even ask. Apparently washing it is done by "detail", inspecting is done by a "mechanic" and I'd have to schedule an appointment. They'd told me my RV would be ready by Friday. Seemed to me that sometime in the four days it would take to wash it someone could take a look? I found most of the staff I talked to be unpleasant and borderline rude. Really got the feeling that their focus was on selling not service. The reason they gave that they couldn't promise my RV would be done sooner was because they had a lot of RVs that needed to be "prepped". I still don't understand why they would schedule an appointment if they weren't going to do it at that time. In any case, it wasn't ready until Friday. They didn't do a very good job (missed several spots, and pressured washed some decals into ragged bits). Didn't offer to walk out with me to check it out and I didn't want to leave it for four more days! Maybe they are nicer to buyers? I don't know but I won't be back! read more

I think they are terrible to their employees. I have several health issues and my boyfriend was hired to work as a tech, he informed them that I have several health issues prior to accepting the job.(Which was approx. 1.5 months ago) He took off work to take me to the doctors and also to the hospital for my surgery. Guess what? They fired him for poor attendance. Now I ask you is that a type of company you would want to do business with? If they treat their employess with the I don't care attitude how do you think they will treat you? You don't run a company that way. I ran 2 collision repair facilities for approx 20 years with 50 employees and always treated them with the repect and understanding they derserve. I always said " Its the Employees are what make the company, without them the business is nothing" Now I cant work due to my health bring in no income and they fire him for taking me to doctors and surgeons. Be very cautious of buying a pre-owned motorhome from Poulsbo RV. I recently purchased a used motorhome from the Auburn, WA location of Poulsbo RV and I was assured that the mileage shown on the odometer was correct and true when in actuality the mileage on the motorhome was 100,000 miles more than shown. I was told a great story about the motorhome needing to be sold by an individual that just never had a chance to use it. All of this was absolutely not true and was just a story. I have tried numerous times to contact the sales person I dealt with and the stores management but they are never available and do not return my calls. Since I am from another state I have not been able to visit the stored in person. I would never buy anything from them again, no matter how good of a deal it would appear to be. I have been interested in purchasing a travel trailer. The unit that interested me ( a Forest River Wildcat Maxx 29BHS) was sold at Poulsbo RV in Auburn. I decided to try them after getting encouragement from my in-laws (2 x prior customers for Poulsbo), who like me, are very shocked and disappointed in how the finance department has handled the transaction. Trust from a dealership should be earned and unfortunately I placed my trust in Poulsbo RV prematurely. I visited the dealership on a Sunday and after running a credit check, I was told by the finance person (didnt get a name) that I would have to make some repairs to my credit before he would even consider sending my information to a bank for consideration. I explained that I had just closed a home refinance and the items he was referring to were not considered then and i did not feel there were pertinant now. He was very adament that I follow his recomendation without even attempting to run anything past the bank for approval and then left me standing in the parking lot, feeling pretty disapointed and very confused. The salesman was standing there looking even more confused. I decided to stop by another RV lot and discussed what happened with them and they felt that I was being given bad advice and they did not understand the Poulsbo RV stance on my credit either. On Monday I got a call from the Poulsvbo RV salesman, who said after he thought about it he decided to go over the head of the one finace person from Sunday and take my application to the Finance Manager and that the good news was they had gotten me approved on the trailer I asked for. I asked him what were the details of the "approved deal". He hesitated and said he would call me back. He called and told me the finance rate, the payment (twice as high as I had told him I was comfortable with on Sunday) and the sales price, which was full asking price. I told him that I would not accept that deal and that I would call him back Tuesday to discuss it further. On Tueday i got an email from my credit monitoring agency telling me that Poulsbo RV ran my credit AGAIN! I called the salesman to inquire what happened and he told me the finance person submitted a specific "deal" to a bank for approval. Unfortunately the "deal" was not discussed with me first (in fact was ran at full sales price) for a vehicle that I did not even see. From being left in the parking lot with a poorly presented credit repair ultimatum (it ruined my Sunday) to the recent credit inquiry on a deal that was not even discussed with me first and then finally an email from the Finance Manager that doesn't even hint of accountability or apology for the lack of professionalism with the department, how could I ever trust them do the right thing (service the vehicle, warranty repairs etc) if they do not feel any accountabilty for thier mistakes?. It is sad to see there is no accountabilty there. That is the major reason that I cannot complete a transaction there. My In-laws, who are very active in the RV community and myself a new RV enthusiast will unfortunately no longer be able to refer the dealership with any positive comments or recommendation. I will however participate in the online blogging community to ensure that my account of the experience is shared by any one interested in seeking a review of Poulsbo RV. The salesman, though a bit timid was very friendly and helpful. I feel very sorry for him, he is missing a sale through no fault of his own. That is as far as any sort of positive experience went with the dealership. I highly encourage buyers to research information on buying an RV before you visit a dealer (espicially Poulsbo RV), so you understand your rights and now what to look for during a financing negotiation. Never sign anything or give up your SSN until you have negotiated a deal you are comfortable with FIRST!!!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I purchased a Sunseeker Motorhome by Forest River. One of the biggest mistakes we have ever made, this coach has been in the shop more times than we have used it. The service is the worst I have ever incountered, they are rude and totally incompentent. If I have not had a warranty I would have never came back. The problems still are not fixed and driving it over the pass each time to not have it fixed right is not only inconvient, but expense, and it is never fixed properly. I will never go back there or I will tell everyone I know that is considering purchasing a RV to stay away. read more

Can you tell that I am upset to be one of those elderly people that have been taken advantage of??? It's true that Poulsbo RV is #1 in the nation, but not for being a GOOD GUY, but for selling volumes of RV's even if they aren't road ready or if they made verbal promises that they don't have to keep once you sign the contract - remember that "AS IS". Oops forgot to add one other thing. The previous owners were ripped off also. Poulsbo RV went to the owners house and inspected the RV and they gave them how much they could expect to receive if they consigned their coach to POULSBO (shame, shame on you). I promised the wife not to tell how much they gave her. Now we're talking about an 85 year old man with dementia and an 82 year old wife. They believed Poulsbo that the amount was so low because Poulsbo RV would have to pay to have all the items fixed before anyone would buy it - they gave her a list of things. Poulsbo RV knew perfectly well when they drove the RV to their lot that after it warms up the oil pressure goes to zero, that's why they never let my husband drive it long enough to warm it up until the first time we took it home. When we told Brad (service dept manager) about the oil issue he said he would have to hire a diesel mechanic in order to determine what was wrong. A new engine would cost $10k plus labor to install. This is why they feel lucky that they off loaded it to someone. Also we asked them to fix the double pane drivers window the seal was broken, you can't see the drivers side mirror because its fogged up all the time. One of the other large windows also has a broken seal and fogged up. Oh and in 2014 a new inverter was installed - but it was installed backwards because the wires weren't long enough, so the circuit breakers aren't visible. We lost 110 power and poulsbo wanted to charge us $133/hour to check it out, luckily my husband found the problem. Wouldn't you think that during the PDI they would have noticed the inverter and said something??? You expect when you take your RV in for service and pay for it that you could trust they know what they are doing-the techs have no knowledge or training or they are told not to write down issues during the inspection. read more

Very disappointed with the way they constructed business compared the multiple dealers we have been too during our buying process. Rather then having a list of what each RV cost to make things quick and easy, the sales rep had us look it up on our phone because he didn't know. He said they don't know when the RV's, go on sale until a customer usually tells them because that's the way their sales department handled things?? How are you going to sell me something when you know absolutely nothing about it?? Of course all the RV's were locked so we had to ask him to open each one that we were interested in, and then have him tell us nothing we couldn't figure out ourselves?? Just.Don't.Go.Here!!! So overpriced for starters. Their price was $35,000 more for a 2019 Tiffin than other dealers in the area for a custom order on a 2020 with every option I wanted. Shop Oregon and Idaho, trust me. They added ridiculous prices to include a dishwasher ($5,000) and to change booth to table ($5,000) Really??? Not only that, they charged me an "easily refundable" deposit to transport two vehicles from another location of $1,000 and then did not refund it for over a month and a half. I had to have my credit card company file a claim for refund. And along with the mess, due to my credit card claiming I "need not make a payment during the claim" it affected my credit rating by 97 points. I had called Poulsbo RV 3-4 weeks after the credit card charge to see why it had not been refunded, and was answered with "oh that hasn't been taken care of?" Trust me, this place will screw you in every direction. Especially on price. JUST HORRIBLE! Completely disappointed with the absence of customer service. We went in to do a little window shopping for a new RV. Really didn't have any idea as to what our price range is, as we haven't looked at any yet. When we asked to look at a few, they would only allow us to us see the used stinky ones. (We asked to see some others). We told them what we were looking for, but they refused to show us any of the RV's that we were interested in unless we agreed to sit down and fill out paperwork about financing and such. The salesman said that without knowing what our exact price range is it would be "wasting his time" to show us RV's. I don't feel that he needed a financial statement and all of our information to just show us an RV. Let's be honest here...all they really needed to do was unlock the door and let us look. And, they certainly weren't busy with anything except for sitting around drinking coffee, since we were the only potential customers on the lot. Very dissatisfied with the customer service and we will definitely be purchasing our diesel pusher RV from another dealer that will be willing to give us a few moments of their time to allow us to look. I strongly encourage anyone thinking of purchasing an RV to not waste their time with these guys. This was a Total waste of time to try and give them some business, and I am positive that the next lot we go to, and purchase at, will be happy to serve us. read more

This review is for Auburn location only. Fife is awesome and I would highly recommend. The Auburn staff is condescending and rude. They treat you as if you are a child and should be seen and not heard. We have taken our RV (purchased at the Fife location) to Auburn on two separate occasions because they had appointments available sooner than our preferred location. NEVER AGAIN. It does not matter who you deal with, you will get nowhere. They charge you for doing nothing, even when you purchased there dream extended warranty. It is $149 for each item to be troubleshot. You have to diagnose yourself and then have them confirm the problem basically. Last I checked they are supposed to be the professionals. If I say something isn't working properly, they should diagnose. Nope, not here. You have to tell them what is wrong, so frustrating. This place deserves to be shut down! I recently completed a trade on a new Class A purchase at Poulsbo RV. Bruce gave me an estimate on the trade and quickly followed up with a written statement. A few days later we completed negotiations on the phone and when I arrived to review and signed papers (after the test drive) all was exactly as promised. I purchased a 2005 Forest River Cardinal RV on consignment from Poulsbo in Auburn, WA in December 2017. I could not drive down to look at it and the salesman, John Snyder, assured me it was in good condition and that everything was in working order and that it would be cleaned before I took possession. I wanted a washer/dryer and the RV was already wired for one. John quoted me $3000 for the pair and when I said I didn't want the RV, he suddenly said it would cost $1000 for the new washer/dryer and installation. That should have been a red flag as to his honesty but I went ahead and purchased the RV. I had it delivered to Oregon where friends were waiting to be sure it was put in the right space and was set up. The driver was going to put it in the space, unhook it and leave. My friends made sure he stayed until the trailer was at least set up and leveled. John Snyder was very annoyed that I and my friend called him about that and said the agreement was that they were to set it up. That was not what was agreed upon. John also neglected to check the RV - black water tank was full of someone else's waste which caused it to back up two days after I moved into it. The shut off handle for the tank had broken and been replaced with a wrench. The carpet was stained and filthy as was the entire trailer. One of the blinds was broken. He told me it would be a good idea to have it sprayed to protect it from dirt and bird poop or something. He also said I should have them spray the underside of the RV to protect it from rust and other stuff. Turns out the trailer has underpinning of sheet metal and is already well protected. I suppose the spray will be of some use to the sheet metal. John did not mention the black mildew on the carpet all along the wall on the largest slide either. The washer/dryer were installed and not leveled. I am very disappointed in the way I was mislead and lied to by the salesman and will never do business with that dealership again. read more

Buyer Beware! We decided to upgrade from a camper to a travel trailer. I really liked the style of the r-pods that's why we ended up here. Decided the beds weren't the most comfy with bad backs. So we ended liking the Kodiak 23ft. It should of been a red flag when we only had a year to bring back for warranty work and we did 3 months in. They had our trailer for three months saying it was hard to get parts due to the holidays. No big deal, we wanted everything right. Well a year later a leak started in the skylight in the kitchen. We purchased a cover off of Amazon to keep the winter weather from making it worst. Now it's spring somewhat, so we took the trailer in to get another sealant coat we purchase and had them check out the leak we noticed before we covered it. Well I received a phone call that the seal failed on the roof in different places. ITS ONLY A YEAR AND HALF OLD! So the cost of them fixing what was a crappy job of the manufacture is 1700.00! By the way is only covered for 90 days in. They said we should have had it inspected after we purchased it before the 90 days, but they had it for three months and it wasn't on the work order. I don't know if it was intentional but they failed to give us that paper we signed! I just want to warn anyone shopping for a new trailer look at the roof and see what kind of warranty is on leaks! We spent a lot of money this new trailer and have had alot of problems. Sounds like this is a reoccurring problem with everything they sell that's why you only have 90 days to fix it. I think they just want to pass the price of the fix to the consumer. They weren't very sympathetic to our problem and the cost. read more

My wife and I just purchased a used Sunseeker from Poulsbo RV in Auburn. I traded in a travel trailer as well. Well, when I dropped off the TT and came home, I spotted a new unit with more upgrades for less money at the Fife location. I called Bruce (GM of Auburn location) and told him what I wanted to do. He was very positive about this and made it happen quickly. Today when my wife picked me up from the airport (returning from Panama City Panama) and we drove to Poulsbo to pick it up. Everything was ready, did the walk through and off we went. My sales person was Chris and Eric did our walk through. I would highly recommend this dealership. Purchased a new class C sunseeker from them in August. Tried to get an appointment in May to get slide repaired. Couldn't get the RV in until June. Sat unlooked at for a week and a half. I was told other people had their rigs in first, seems fair, but why make appointments in you arent going to do anything anyways? They have been replacing part after part after part for six months now. I doubt they have any mechanics working there, semi skilled part replacers at best. Factory tech had to call and explain how to replace a part to their "mechanic" who had installed it before, but not correctly. Now I have to wait another week and a half for them to attempt the same part replacement again because they are busy with something else. I wonder how long the people who's rig is getting worked on has been there to get the priority? It's been like pulling teeth just to find out what's going on with my RV this whole time. Two months ago I posted on their Facebook sales page, and WOW I started getting emails from the service department. It seems nothing is a big deal to them unless it might cost them some sales. Buyer beware, pray you get one of the few mythical RVs with no issues, because if you buy from Poulsbo RV, you are taking a chance of losing the RV for warranty work for over half a year. I loved having the RV, but the dream has turned into a nightmare. read more

I never did get a warm and fuzzy feeling here. Other than Crystal (sales) and Kevin (service-walk thru), I had a constant feeling of being a burden. Seems to me, I'm giving you my money at an agreed upon price. If you don't like it, don't accept the offer. I also had a similar experience as other reviewers here. The sales manager and I agreed upon the "Equalizer" hitch. When I arrived, they had the "Fastway" hitch installed on the RV. Definitely an inferior product (and cheaper, go figure). Of course the sales manager I was dealing with was not there that day so I had to deal with Brad (parts and service). Brad did not have anywhere near the "customer is always right" attitude. After arguing for a time, I ended up throwing my hands in the air and taking the Fastway hitch because Brad was obviously not willing to work with me. I think from this point on, I will be dealing with a different location if I need to deal with Polsbo. Hopefully the customer service is better at their other locations. read more

Just wanted to let everyone know not to go here for purchase or service. I bought a class C brand new motorhome, and it has been in the shop more than we have used it. If I could get our money back, I would do it in a heartbeat. The service staff is rude, and unhelpful, there repairs are terrible and we continually have to return our motorhome there because of the warranty, but if we could we would take it anywhere else. Do Not Buy From Them, or have work done there. read more

i bought a motorhome at poulsbo rv in auburn. the motorhome was a used one, and so far has been a great one, but do not buy the insurance they offer you to cover the rv and tires, had a blowout set beside the road for over 4 hours calling the people that i had insurance with that they sold me on. finally called les schwab paid for it out of my pocket. i was told that my insurance would pay for tire replacement. well guess what, i paid over $450 and they sent me a check for half that amount. in all fairness poulsbo only told me what they were told by the insurance company, but i'm the one that's out the money and paid for the insurance. so be very careful buying the insurance they offer. read more
