The photos on Yelp show a beautiful café overlooking the water. (Updated, this is a different location). We ordered through Square and picked up at the drive-thru. Overall, I wasn't impressed. The prices were high, and what we received just wasn't worth it. We spent about $40 on breakfast sandwiches and coffees. Bonus points for the French toast bagel--that was delicious. The egg tasted and looked fake, and the bacon was almost certainly fake. The prices just don't match the quality of the food. Avocado is a $2 up-charge to your sandwich and it came brown, it was overripe. The coffees were good, but overpriced. It was $7 for a coffee with Samoa flavoring. It's a very small but nice candy shop located in a wooded area on a totally unpaved dirt road. It is about the size of a small shed and about three people can fit comfortably in the store at one time or maybe four at the most. The shop is very cute and it is stocked with candy (mostly chocolate) and some baked goods as well. I was pretty impressed with the amount of different items that I saw in such a small space. There were salted caramels, marshmallow caramels, Jordan almonds, nuts, various trail mixes, muffins, and several other delicious looking sweets. One thing I found to be very interesting is that there were no staff members present and payment here is totally on the honor system. You don't see that very often. There is a mailbox just inside the door where you can leave cash for the items that you are purchasing. If you prefer to use Venmo to pay there is a Venmo QR code in the store that you can scan to pay via Venmo. Paying by credit is not an option in this store but there is always Venmo if you would rather not leave cash for your items. There is a small bench just outside of the shop where you can sit down and enjoy your goodies. I went ahead and bought a box of marshmallow caramels as well as a pecan pie bar that I saw. Both items were very delicious and made me want to go back for more!
