Corrected! They have multiple locations! The pictures are misleading. If you're hoping to enjoy breakfast with a view, think twice--they've moved locations. The photos on Yelp show a beautiful café overlooking the water. (Updated, this is a different location). We ordered through Square and picked up at the drive-thru. Overall, I wasn't impressed. The prices were high, and what we received just wasn't worth it. We spent about $40 on breakfast sandwiches and coffees. Bonus points for the French toast bagel--that was delicious. The egg tasted and looked fake, and the bacon was almost certainly fake. The prices just don't match the quality of the food. Avocado is a $2 up-charge to your sandwich and it came brown, it was overripe. The coffees were good, but overpriced. It was $7 for a coffee with Samoa flavoring. Again, good, but not worth the price. I would try it again if ever given the chance. Response to Owner: I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my review! I really used to like this place. Have been to the new location for a fifth time today, hoping things would improve. It's beautiful inside! Love the flowers and the expanded food options. Have tried to rent the office space a few times. Perhaps they worked out the kinks but so far the staff hasn't figured out how to book them when I'm there. So basically gave up on that. Inside is sort of a mess. Always a ton of people there. Hard to figure where to stand when you're waiting. Seating always jammed. Sometimes the food and drinks are delivered separately so you have to listen for someone to whisper your name. Today the staff didn't greet my daughter and I. Blank staring at us to order. Got four bakery items. Was prepared to then order coffee but was told our total. No offer of drinks... at a coffee shop. Just blank stares and no engagement. So, no coffee I guess. Was easy to hit the no tip button. Ahhh the eye roll. So no greeting, bad body language and unrealistic expectations for additional compensation. Then we waited. Two groups behind us served first. I gave the new location a shot. Five times and I'm set for a long while. Too bad, I do like the burrata balsamic toast. It's plenty busy, plenty popular, and easy to drive past. read more

A south shore staple Lucky Finn's is a must if you're looking for a break on the way to the cape. They have a sizable menu and with their new location have really stepped up their game in the kitchen even it comes to order ahead and drive through pickup. Coffee wish they're OK I enjoy their cold brew but find their lattes to not be to my taste. All in all it's a convenient spot right off the highway and I hope they'll add some more interesting coffee options as time goes on (I use their beans at home and enjoy them so know what they're capable of). read more

The cupcake was nice and rich however a bit dry. Their coffee was strong + refreshing. The staff are very kind folks so you can take your time here getting work done. Unique coffee menu (I got a delicious sea salt lavender latte) and an extensive menu. On the pricier side, but you're getting quality for the price. Like so many native Scituate residents I was hesitant about what business could fill the shoes of our beloved Quarterdeck. Seeing the building and being welcomed in by Aeolus, The Greek God of the Winds, always brings me back to sweet childhood memories. I was so happy when the Lucky Finn opened, it has been absolutely perfect. The decor is welcoming and coastal, ( legit though not tacky Nicknacks) and they have super cool Merch too. Their coffee drinks and tea are outstanding whether you want a plain coffee hot or iced or something with lots of flavor they have you covered. On to their food. Their bakery items are top notch, buttery, flaky croissants, delicious breads and bagels. They have a varied exiting menu and whatever you choose you will be thrilled. The staff are always helpful and kind as well even when they are busy. If you are lucky ( no pun) you will get a seat outside on the back deck overlooking our beloved harbor. Next best, try to grab a seat on the front deck. There are plenty of seats inside too. As a side note their other locations one in Driftway and one in Hanover are as good, food and drink wise and lovely as well, but of course nowhere can compare with the quirky building built over the harbor, imploring the winds to be kind. read more

When they moved down the block at Merchants Row, I wasn't sure why but now I know. The new location is laid out beautifully, with multiple kinds of seating and bright office spaces and (this may sound dumb) napkins RIGHT where you need them. The bar along the window has tons of plugs in the backsplash box - so handy to charge up or do a little work. They even have outdoor seating! Parking is plentiful at Merchant Row. And now not only is there a drive through to grab and go your favorites, but mobile coffee pickup inside goes in a cool little heater area with a door - what an idea! It's clean, bright and pleasant, the staff are helpful and they move people through there really well. And don't get me started on all the avocado toast choices - amazing!! We had the burrata one, the hash one and the Greek and I can't decide which I liked best! Fun latte flavors too. This is my new favorite place to dine! read more

I was helped out by one of the sweetest baristas I've ever met and it made me happy to choose Lucky Finn as my coffee place to try today. I got the caravan latte and it was SO good. We were so so excited to try this place as it is new to the area, every time I drove by here it's always busy so I guess I was a tad bit intimidated but I'm so glad we finally did! Wish there was more outdoor seating but the view outside isn't to die for haha but the inside is cute! Everything was on point and hit the spot. We got the chipotle chicken sandwich, tomato and pesto, and figgy. Coffee is elite, not much to say about that other than the fact that it's delicious. Tried the breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. Not my favorite but the rice, beans, and corn just aren't my favorite in a breakfast item so that's not on them, I just ignored my preference as I wanted to try it the way it's meant to be on the menu. If you like those things, you'll like it for sure. Tons of other intriguing items on the breakfast menu however so I'll definitely be back. They also have a lunch menu which looks great too. It's uncomfortable seeing recommended tip amounts starting at 20%, especially this far past COVID. I finally went in to try a cup of coffee at Lucky Finn Cafe. It was around 2:00 and the place was packed with patrons. Lots of people there working on their computers, others having lunch or coffee with friends. I was impressed with the inside and then I noticed down by the restrooms that they have office space that you can rent. It's more like a think tank so it's perfect if you work from home so you can get out of your home and feel like you are in an office space. Every think tank is set up well for working and I think you can rent it by the hour. As a low carb eater I don't think there is many things here I can order besides a salad so maybe in time they will offer some low carb options. I was incredibly impressed with the sandwich I ate at Lucky Finn. It was packed with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and the perfect amount of sweet chipotle mayo in warm toasted bread. The matcha was also amazing, but I would recommend adding a shot of vanilla. The bright atmosphere and friendly workers created a very enjoyable environment. I have been in the Hanover LFC a handful of times over the last 2 months and have been surprised and pleased. I was surprised because I thought it was more like a restaurant and pleased because they did have basic breakfast and lunch offerings cooked to order, a step up from the prepackaged offerings at a Starbucks but a step down from a breakfast and lunch diner. The coffee bar is a step down from Starbucks on offerings but not in quality. If I were an owner I would think seriously about doubling the tables and making it feel a lot less like they were competing with Starbucks and a bit more friendly to diners who just want to have a decent coffee with a quick meal. read more

I will start off with the positive part of my experience(s) here; the lox are great. Second time having it on one of their bagels w/cream cheese and they're delicious. Fresh Smokey salmon, and great bagels - recommended! Unfortunately this is also the second time that I've ordered the Açaí Bowl (for $12!) and it came in a small, shallow bowl that wasn't even half filled. Approx 8 blueberries, maybee 2 strawberries sliced up, açaí mix/base, a bunch of pb smeared on the side and the smallest sprinkle of chia seeds. Oh and the "cocao nibs" were chocolate chips, of which I'm guessing full of sugar/corn syrup which is what I was trying to avoid. Probably $2 worth of ingredients at most. 1 of 2 coffees made correctly and this was an online order mind you, so everything was input correctly for them... All in all, if this place just tightened up and corrected some small mistakes I'd definitely recommend and go back. But for how costly everything is, it's not worth it. $6+ for incorrect coffee, $12 for inadequate açaí bowl. Lines are usually crazy too which doesn't help. read more

This place has become a free office space hang out. We've been coming here multiple times a week since opening and love the food and drinks but it has become impossible to find space to actually eat here. People like us who want to purchase substantial meals and have a place to eat them have been replaced by people with a coffee on laptops. The limited seating has become monopolized by people seeking several hours of free office space, like one person setting up on a 4 top for the day. Paid office space is provided but when you can camp out all day for the price of a coffee, why bother? Most lunch spots offer a nice flow of diners in and out so you can plan on actually eating there. Why not designate a few of the limited tables as laptop free? We've stopped frequenting Lucky Finn due to the lack of seating. We can get take out anywhere. read more

The cafe here is great - I was thrilled to see the second location of this beloved Scituate spot open up just down the street from me at the new Merchant's Row complex. Serving up a range of beverages, baked goods and breakfast and lunch options - this place is great for your daily coffee, a quick snack or a more substantial lunch. I've been really happy with everything I've had here. I also love how friendly and speedy the staff have been, even when facing down the rush of lunchtime visitors or other busy periods. Super happy to have this new spot in our neck of the woods! The co-working spaces however need some work. There are 5 small "offices" - most are for a single person but at least 1 has chairs and space for multiple people. The good: It's pretty!: Sleep clean, uncluttered, spaces - they feel like a cozy extension of the cafe rather than the drab spaces you might find at other co-working spots. Price: $25 for 4 hours // $50 for the whole day. On average seems lower than day passes to other local co-working spaces although not sure how it stacks up in terms of perks/extras. Booking: easy peasy. Go online, book using their online tool. Show up and enter your office space. You can rent by 4 hour blocks or full day. The not so good: Sound - These rooms are NOT sound proof. While you can close the door to each unit, the ceiling space is open to both the other office spaces and the cafe itself. This means the rooms aren't soundproof at all. I found this frustrating since I'd specifically sought out a private space so I could have quiet for video calls but I was battling with the din of the cafe and other office renters. Maybe this works better for those looking to work out of the home and want more privacy than a usual coffee shop provides but who don't actually want/need quiet. Not sure why they opted for this but seems like it could easily be remedied with a slight redesign. Internet - there's only one free wifi for all, those paying for the office spaces and the general cafe alike. It would be better if there was a password protected wifi reserved for just those paying to use the office spaces to ensure a good connection. It's a huge bummer to have limited connectivity when I'm paying for this space for the day because everyone grabbing a coffee is using up the bandwidth. There's ethernet in each unit but honestly who still uses ethernet? My MacBook doesn't even have a way to hook up to that. I think with some tweaks this could be a *much* better experience from the office side of things. Until some of those changes I can't see myself working out of here often given the drawbacks above but will be a regular here for the cafe! read more

Very disappointed. There were no prices on the wall for beverages. All the tables were dirty the trash area was filthy, bench cushions stained and crumbs all over the place. We got soup but they have no soup spoons, just a little tiny plastic teaspoons. I gave two points because the soup was absolutely delicious and the servers were very pleasant. Chances are we won't be going there again. read more
