    Bagel selection
    Alex F.

Very cute place with good seating. They have a decent amount of bagels to choose from but I wanted the rainbow bagel because it was so pretty. I ordered the egg white/spinach/goat cheese sandwich but added sausage- overall kind of boring. I think the bagel needed salt or something it was very bland and none of those ingredients added much flavor either. What I did love was how fluffy the bagel was, texture-wise very close to NYC.

Loved the bagel food was hot and the tea hit the spot. It kind of had a minty flavor to it. Service was quick and to the point but I wouldn't say rude. The location itself was welcoming and there were so many people sitting around im there own worlds chattin' and eating. Good vibes

Love the ambiance, locals seem to love this place. Appointed with sofas and small cafe tables, this place is trendy. Service was fast. They had their steak and egg with (sautéed) mushrooms and onions as the special for the day. That's what I got. Would have given a 5 star if it wasn't steak ums. Would have liked it to be sliced grilled steak

Egg white, turkey sausage & onions on English muffin

Looking for breakfast in this area and came upon Gunther tootsies in my yelp search. Reviews claim they have the best bagels. Being a New Yorker I'm very critical of bagels anywhere else. Walking in the space was big with plenty of tables to sit. The decor was kinda dark and unpleasant. The bagels imo looked anemic. The staff member who took our order was very friendly & offered several options. I opted for egg white, onion & Turkey sausage on an English muffin. It was very greasy but overall a good breakfast. I also got a hot coffee that was def fresh.

Burnt carrot cake and nitro brew? More like watered down coffee. Awful

I asked for a carrot cake and got this burnt muffin and 24 oz nitro brew. I asked why it looked like ice coffee , response, that's just how it looks. Awful food

Great service! Well organized set up...except common rest room,,,,in building faculty. They do a perfect BLT ,,,,,as long as you put it on multigrain bread. Sadly* They need to switch from plastic mesh teabags to the Tetly paper 1's. Latest Info ...we r eating 1 charge card of plastic Every week.

Unfortunately, looks better than it tastes.

Hole-in-the-wall cafe located in Quincy Center (very close to the T). There was a giant poster advertising a rainbow bagel when I walked by, so of course I had to stop in and try one! Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The bagel was dry and kind of tough - didn't taste fresh. I asked for it to be toasted, but it only came kind of warm. They were also stingy on the cream cheese (although the strawberry cream cheese had actual strawberries in it, which was kind of cool!). The vibe was kind of like Dunkin meets diner. You could sit down at one of the tables and use their free wifi to get some work done. There was a group of people in their mid-50's listening to Adam Sandler's SNL version of "Hannukah" on full blast. But if I truly wanted a place to get some work done, I would probably choose neighboring Starbucks or the Thomas Crane Library within a 5 minute walk.

Having that addictive personality, I went back the next day. This time I ordered what my friend ordered - the Banh Mi Chao Tieu Den. Tender steak seared, runny egg, cheese, pate, pickles in fragrant black pepper sauce in which you add the ingredients onto your freshly baked banh mi. My goodness, I've never been a banh mi fan and this place made me ordered it just from how amazing it looks. The best part - it tastes just as good as it looks. This is now my favorite spot in Quincy.

We even inquired about their chili crisp (so addicting) and they were kind enough to answer. Above and beyond! Space is 5 stars too. Plenty of seating in the front (bright and airy) and a quiet area at the back (dark and cozy). You don't feel rushed with your meal. Food was a 3.5-4. Ca Phe Kem Pho Mai (Vietnamese coffee with salted foam) was delicious. Strong coffee with a sweet and salty taste. I could've eaten the foam with a spoon. The salmon toast wasn't bad but I would make a couple of changes (1) reduce the cream cheese - it looks good/aesthetic but overwhelms the flavor (2) sub the avocado paste to fresh avocado, it had a funny taste. The cookie dough croissant was good but the outer cover was too crispy, it didn't have the flakiness of a croissant. I also wish they would have some other substitutions for their banh mi like chicken or shrimp or tofu. Hopefully someday!

They were out of eggs, so I got a pork bun which was fluffy and delicious as well. They had a medium sized-menu with a good selection of your run of the mill American cafe staples as well as options that are harder to find in this area -- Saipao buns, ube lattes, lumpia... I was getting pissed off on the highway on my way to the school in Boston so I pulled off and was looking for a cafe somewhere in Milton or Quincy to work in until the traffic died off a little and found this on Apple Maps. So glad I stopped in! The cafe is bright and home-y, and they also are clearly trying to be a place to build community in the area. They have a whole library and check out system it seems for people to borrow books, and based on the signs welcome in anyone that needs to use the restroom or respite from whatever weather is going on! I used one of their tables and worked on some schoolwork, but they also had a variety of soft seating available. They had a really good playlist that had a great beat but was still kinda chill. It wasn't super busy, probably since it was midday on a Thursday, but damn it should be busier in there! Great spot... will most likely be stopping here the next time I find myself screaming at other cars and needing to calm my road rage. Another note: I saw a sign and it looks like they have a way for people to hold events here. If you had a community group that needed a spot to have meet ups I think this would be a great spot

I was recommended this small cafe on TikTok for their tiramisu lattes (which those who know me know…read morethat I have an obsession with Tiramisu lattes). I ended up grabbing two lattes this morning and enjoying the winter ambiance of Weymouth. This cafe is located right next to a cinema, down the street from South Shore Hospital. For those who like to work from their laptop at cafes, this location is not a cafe where you can work from. This small storefront has very good latte, tea, and coffee options as well as a few food options such as breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and chaffles. For those who have celiac disease (like myself), this cafe does not have any gluten-free options - but don't let that stop you from trying one of their lattes or drink options. This morning I tried a tiramisu latte and a peanut butter latte. The tiramisu latte was very good and had a good balance of coffee and the flavoring. I would rate this latte an 8.5 out of 10 based on the appearance, flavor, and size. Regarding Tiramisu lattes, it was one of the better ones that I've tried. The peanut butter latte was also pretty good; however, I feel it could've had a little more coffee or peanut butter flavor. I felt as if it were like drinking almond milk after eating a peanut butter sandwich. I didn't really get the peanut butter flavor until after I was finishing the latte and got to the cold foam. Overall, this cafe was a cute find and would be amazing for a warm day if you planned on walking around Weymouth
