Sharky's is one of the best sports bars in the Springfield area. The staff is super friendly and accomidating. If you're not sure what you want, the staff can reconmend something off thier menu that will satify even the pickiest of appietites. The food is head and shoulders above your average sports bar. Thier burgers are super tasty as well as thier fish tacos. My go to is thier chicken BLTC sandwich. You can get the chicken either grilled or fried, again covering tastes for every appetite. They also make a great salad here. So no matter what you are in the mood for, they got you covered. And with the size of thier portions you will not leave hungry. The food was really good. Service was lacking. They appeared to be short staffed on a busy Friday afternoon with one person running the entire floor (tables and bar). We were there at 2:30 pm for lunch. Once we ordered and our food was delivered, we received no drink refills and no one came to check in at any point to see if we needed anything during our meal. It was only when the waitstaff came to clear the plates, that they asked if we'd like a refill. We were completely done eating, so I asked if they had to go cups and they stated they did not. I asked for a box for the leftover fries, and once that was dropped off we waited forever for our check. Finally, I had to go up and ask. A nice little bar and grub spot. They have some slot machines in the corner near the entrance and bar that goes all the way around in the middle. Plenty of seating and tvs in the whole place. There were maybe 4 tables in total being serviced so we were quick to get seated and ordered. We both got the bacon burger (i believe) with the added egg and fries. Food came pretty quick and it was a pretty good burger for a bar menu! A little on the greasy side with the bacon and patty, but still delicious. The only issue we had was it took like 15 mins for our waitress to come back to give us our bill. We had to get up and just ask for it because we had to go back to work. Overall a good spot but just a little frustrating with the delay at the end. read more

Are you kidding me? Go here now. My husband brought me here a while ago, like last year or something, anyways, we order the Crispy Chicken Wrap. On our way home from our weekend getaways we stop here for lunch. I didn't think the Crispy Chicken Wrap could get any better, then I ordered it with the chipotle ranch today. Holy balls. I wish I could eat the whole thing but it's giant. Also the onion rings, effing perfection. Please don't ever change a thing. Had the western burger it was so big easily could have shared this meal with someone. I had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite. Fries were crispy and ample! The waitress was the perfect amount of attentive. Ok two days later it's Saturday brought the hot wife to breakfast, she had the chicken fried steak I had everything but the kitchen sink, both amazing super impressed it's our new spot! The Staff was good, tables and stools were very clean. However the 1/2 pd burger despite being advertised as local beef (which it could have been) was not very taste. The sign on the window said voted best burger in town but no one knows what vote or event issued this proclamation. The vegi's were however fresh. The onion rings lost me though, they were like the ones in the picture you get 4 for a $1.00 up charge. Over cooked and only a small onion in side they were so much breading I just could not enjoy them. Overall: - Stick with the fries not the onion rings - This is bar food so don't expect Carl's JR size burgers or Red Robin quality. - Wait time for food is what I expect but don't be in a rush. If you get it to go you will have a $0.55 to go charge I thought was odd at a burger costing 13.99 + 1.00 onion ring charge. - Over all I still cant recommend them. We walked here the other day while waiting for our truck to get done at the tire place and had lunch and a drink. Loved the bar tender! She was very sweet and attentive and the food was surprisingly good. My drink was a bit on the strong side so I told her and she added more pineapple juice to it and it was much better.
