The shrimp appetizer that my wife ordered was also very good, and a nice starter before we had dinner at the English Pub. It's a good spot to experience sunsets as you knock back a drink or two, or watch the night sky, so long as it's not overcast or raining. If you look closely towards the ceiling-length windows, you can see the Denver skyline in the distance in front of the Rockies that dominate the landscape from afar.

My dad ordered the roasted chicken and said it was incredibly moist and flavorful. My mom's bison burger was juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly. The double fried French fries absolutely stole the show though. Somehow they were extra crispy without being overdone. For dessert we shared the skillet cookie, and it was the perfect sweet, indulgent ending to the meal. After a full day of traveling, this was exactly what we needed. The service didn't help. Our waiter was overbearing rather than attentive, and surprisingly wasn't very knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. Good service should enhance a meal without dominating it, and unfortunately that balance was missing. Copper Table has the setting and atmosphere to be something special, but great ambiance can only carry a restaurant so far. For the prices being charged, both the food and service need to rise to the same level. Our experience simply didn't.

It was better than the sushi I have had at a sushi restaurant since moving here to CO. Nice Asian sauce with sesame seeds throughout. Super good. It's light, though. It is in a butter lettuce "taco shell", but honestly I think putting it in a true corn or flour tortilla just would not mesh well. The service was very very pleasant and attentive. We even had to move a couple times because our party number kept changing, and she was as pleasant as can be. I look forward to heading back and trying something else. Well, I received my food prior to receiving my drink. I had the meatloaf, mashed potato's and Cole slaw. It was all good, and I enjoyed it. But, the menu said the meatloaf was made in house - I don't know for sure, but it didn't look or taste like it. Would definitely go back.
