Coming from Hawaii where space is limited. This restaurant was huge and spacious. I loved it. The screens to watch all kinds of sports is insane. They even had a second level. This place is huge! Our server was great and friendly. She was fabulous. I liked how well she knows the menu. You can tell when waitstaff don't know the menu when you ask them questions. I had the Rockies Burger and my friend had the roast beef sandwich roll. We started with wings. Everything was delicious. It really hit the spot.

I realized I never did a review of my recent visit. Here it it is. I attended an event on a Thursday night and I had to pay for my parking for that event. I don't know how parking is if you have a dining reservation for one of the resort's restaurants. Walked up around 6pm to see if you could get a table. Waited for about 10 minutes for a party of 3. There was a sporting event we wanted to watch and they were putting it on the huge wall of screens that they have. All ages can eat here. We were sat right up front and that was a little difficult to actually see the game. But it was fine as I saw the game on other TVs they have around the large restaurant. It gets very crowded for big ticket sporting events that they show. The food was on par for a "sports bar & grill " sandwiches, burgers, salads , ribs. I enjoyed my burger and split it while sharing some ribs. Appetizer was nachos. The service was good for a busy night. Not too long of a wait for the food either. They had seasonal cocktails. Because it was busy we decided to head upstairs after we paid our bill as not to linger so others could sit and eat. There is an upstairs area with high top tables , booths , open first come seating recliners , and bar style tables. There wasn't any service up there , just seating. We waited for some recliners to open up and we sat there to watch the rest of the game. This is helpful for diners who want to eat downstairs and the seating upstairs works for those wanting to watch the game and not take up tables and enjoy their beverage not at the downstairs packed bar. We wanted dessert so I went down and ordered that at the bar and took it back upstairs. The bartenders were so helpful and kind and kept checking in on me while waiting for that to come out. The desserts were HUGE! I had to come back down to get to go boxes. Overall , I would come back and recommend to be strategic about what you want to watch and how you want to watch. Drinks up stairs and then eat, or eat and then relax up stairs.

Went here to grab light dinner. Got Mountain Nachos (generous portion) and tasty. Good and friendly service. Nice ambiance and lots of television to watch sports.

This is a decent place to watch any sporting event and get a great cocktail or beer. Liza was such a great waitress and we don't have to ask for much she was on it ! The chicken sandwich was probably the best item we ordered along with the chili cheese fries. It's a cool place to meet up with friends and the menu has something for everyone .

After enjoying The ICE! How the Grinch Stole Christmas event at the Gaylord Resort, I went looking for dinner. I found the Mountain Pass Sports Bar. Very large space with an even larger video screen showing multiple channels. Nice Bar menu. We were greeted by Phoenix, a gracious server. I started with a large 23oz draft of Stem Ciders Apricot for only $14. I got the Fried Chicken sandwich on a Challah bun with an upgrade of onion rings. Just right. I saw 2 suites with golf simulators and an outside patio.

Big sports bar inside the Gaylord Rockies Resort. Food is decent, with fast & friendly service. Atmosphere is - expectedly - loud, but there are some quieter tables towards the windows at the far side.

I'm glad Mountain Pass exists inside the Gaylord Rockies. It's one of the largest sports bars you'll ever set foot in, with the biggest 75-foot TV I've ever seen inside of a restaurant! Contextually it's important to remember that Mountain Pass is here for many different reasons. Inside Denver's largest hotel property, it feeds the masses. It feeds families, it's a casual atmosphere, it's more affordable than the other restaurants inside the hotel, and people come here to watch sports. If you're expecting gourmet cuisine visit one of their new fantastic restaurants instead! I've been here numerous times over the years and my 3-star rating reflects my experiences. It's been very good at times while sometimes underwhelming. It's consistently "fine" and that's okay for what it is! My family had a wonderful time at ICE! over the holidays and since we had kiddos and a newborn with us, Mountain Pass seemed like the best option. I ordered the nacho platter and it hit the spot. Big portions and odds are one person won't be able to take it down in one sitting. MOUNTAINOUS CHICKEN NACHOS ($18) // chile queso blanco, pico, guajillo chicken, pickled onions, cilantro, sour cream, salsa roja. Overall, our food was solid. Nothing mindblowing, but nothing worth throwing a fit over. Service was sporadic and ultimately led to waiting somewhat impatiently for the check. One of the orders needed to be corrected, but that happens. Again, the TV display is a work of art. Every game for every individual can be screened at once. Ask the staff to be sat near your game of choice. I also recommend checking out the upstairs because they have these comfortable reclining chairs where you can transport to the man cave of your dreams!

This is our second time eating here after flying in Denver and the wait time is definitely a hit or miss. Because the Gaylord hosts a lot of conferences, this impact our wait this time. We waited about 30min for a table and the service was extremely slow. To our waitress' defense, she was amazing and trying her best to deal with all the chaos. You can't go wrong with a classic burger. The Mac and cheese was heavy on the green onion which I didn't like. We of course plan on returning the next time we fly into Denver as it's become a tradition but be wary of the wait times.

Stayed at the hotel over the holidays. Would have loved to eat there but the wait was insane so we just order take out. *if you want to eat hear definitly make a reservation. Sat at the bar and ordered, it was hard to get someone's attention, but I get that its bar. They have so many seating options and massive TV's; I guarantee that your game will be on one of the big screens. The food was all okay, one of burgers were a tad pink and under cooked while the other was over cooked. It took around 30/35 minutes to get the food. I did take off a star because it smelled really bad. The bar area smelled moldy and damp. Overall good for a sports bar.

This place was pretty good. The chicken sandwich was very tasty. The Brussel sprouts were also really good. Qe had a very good waitress.

We had picked up my sis-in-law from the airport and she asked if we could come here for lunch. We chose Mountain Pass because they had something for everyone on their menu. We requested outside seating as it was a lovely day. There is a nice view of downtown Denver and the mountains from their patio area. We noticed all the heaters as well as a fireplace so this would still be nice option in the cooler weather. My son is a burger guy and went for their Rockies Cheeseburger. He opted to get onion rings as his side. The burger looked delicious. He enjoyed every bite. He said the onion rings were crispy outside and delicate inside. Just right. Sis-in-law went for the Mountainous Chicken Nachos. She shared with the table and had plenty to bring home. These were some serious nachos. There was queso blanco, pico, grilled chicken, pickled onions, cilantro, sour cream and salsa. Every bite had all the flavors. Hubby went for the Fried Chicken Sandwich. It came with a Buffalo aioli and pickles and he opted for a side salad. He loved the flavor combination in the sandwich. I am a poutine girl. I saw they had Loaded Fries and that was my decision. They had me at smothered in pork green chili. It also had the queso blanco and a sprinkle of green onions. Delicious! It is pricey to eat here, but it is also a hotel and convention space. They do validate parking in the restaurants so if you stop for a just a bite, make sure to ask.

The atmosphere is definitely upscale and makes for a great spot when you're looking for a special night out. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and the drinks were well done. I went with an espresso martini, which was excellent. We started with the pork belly appetizer, which was just okay, but the rest of the meal was much stronger. Things quickly turned around with the lobster bisque and Chilean sea bass. Both were excellent and were easily the highlights of the meal for me. The sides are served à la carte and meant for sharing, which worked well for our group. This is certainly not a cheap meal, but the quality, service, and atmosphere help justify the price. As a bonus, they also offer a kids menu, which was nice for families. Our kids were perfectly happy with the chicken tenders. Overall, a solid 4-star experience and a great option if you're looking for an upscale dinner at the Gaylord Rockies
