I was invited to a networking event at Pour Taproom. The only complicated thing was the parking. Once I figured that out I was ok. They did validate parking which was great. I was greeted upon entering and the vibe was great. Diverse crowd. Beer taps all around. Good music. The meeting was upstairs on the second level. They had finger food and it was tasty. I was most impressed by the 3rd level which is a space that can be reserved for a private event also. It has a full bar. Service was great and I would return again with friends who actually drink beer. The only reason it did not get a 5 star rating, as I was viewing the upstairs the employees complained and hoped we were not ordering anything. Well I was not. So this was a pretty good location. I think that it's just like the pour at the other, locations but will make some different is what's around them. This one is in midtown and midtown has a lot of other things that you can go to and walk up to so it's very outdoor walk friendly. So this one has a little bit of a bar, you can get other things like jello shots and other things like that, and they have probably over 80 different taps to choose from. They have a TV area, in a slightly enclosed room so if you want to just watch the game or something like that without being super disturbed, you could do that. The food there is basically bar food so don't expect anything gourmet. But if you're just trying to try a bunch of beers you don't need a filet mignon lol. But just keep in mind, the food is of the bar variety so you'll get a lot of fried foods or stuff off of the grill. So expect a lot of fried foods and a lot of sandwiches. But that does help with all the drinking so I guess it's absolutely okay! There is nice amount of space indoor but outdoor has a patio area that you can sit at and drink as well. So that should probably be the first thing you look at if it's a nice day. The view isn't of a whole lot, but it's facing another building right across but it's not a terrible view. The beer part is so explanatory, you can basically go ahead and scan a wristband that you're given and you can try any beer you want. The beers do have a different price and that's based on probably the alcoholic content. The highest and heavy ones are probably going to be something that cost more to do. But you may pay between $0.45 and $1.05 maybe. You'll put your wristband up to the sensor and you'll go ahead and pour and you can sit down and do whatever you please until you're ready for another. The lady at the front that's was really cool. She was checking people in and being a bartender. I thought she was pretty doping we had a good conversation. Parking is not free here but you really have to just find your own way as far as parking goes. There's options for parking structures on one side of the street and the other. So you really can't go wrong with that. If you go down the street, you can probably find street parking. Which is exponentially more cheaper than paying for a lot in the parking structure. Right down the street from my place. Figured I would give it a go. The food here wasn't good. At all. The steak nachos were a pile of grease. The Tator tots seemed frozen greasy as well and ate half of the burger and stopped because my stomach wasn't feeling well anymore. The fish and chips have to have been the worst I've ever experienced. Bonvoy members beware. This was such an unfortunate experience and it was all because of inconsiderate staff and poor communication. I went to Pour to attend a party for a friend. I actually liked the ambiance of the restaurant although it was a little tight. No fault of the restaurant though obviously. We sat upstairs and everything was fine initially. There was also another party a level above us (3rd floor). So the concept was cool you are given a bracelet that keeps up with your tab and there is a wall of beers where you can tap your bracelet and pour/refill your own beer. You are charged by the ounce. I chose a nonalcoholic mojito which was tasty but everyone else who had beer did complain about how foamy it was. The issue came with the service. After being there for a while we were ready to eat. Firstly, which I didn't think anything of initially but now adds to her attitude, the server asked me how I wanted my burger and I said medium. She kinda scoffed at me and said "pink or well? I think you mean pink. Because it's a burger. We do pink or well." I was like ok...and when she left I laughed with my table about my mixed options of a color or temperature. 45 minutes later, we still had not received our food. Now, they were busy. And I understand a busy night as I served for years. But you can stop by and say "hey I'm sorry this is taking so long the kitchen is slammed" or something! Just communicate. Additionally, people who ordered after us were getting their food. So now I'm a bit more irked. A guy came and dropped some food for people that ordered WELL after us and my husband tried to get his attention. "Excuse me...EXCUSE ME!" The guy completely ignored him and keeps walking. 10 mins later our server comes back up. I try to get her attention. She ignores me. I follow her saying "excuse me?" Ignores me. Touches her arm to get her attention "EXCUSE ME!" Ignores me and shuffles downstairs. At this point, I'm pissed bc now you are blatantly ignoring me. I go downstairs and find her and say I want to cancel my order. I'm met with an eye roll. She asks for my bracelet. "This isn't your bracelet". Umm it is, if not whose is it? She tells me that bracelet is for the other party and I can see a lot of additional charges on there. I'm thinking, OK well whose fault is that? So I say "Well you all gave us the bracelet." So I cancel my food order and ask how to close out my tab which she begrudgingly said I'll figure it out and dismisses me. She also tells a guy from my party who was also downstairs, "I can't come upstairs and service y'all or take orders for another 15 to 20 minutes because the kitchen is slammed." So y'all understaffed. Great. I go back upstairs and my husband and I are standing up saying goodbyes and about to walk out when the guy from earlier comes and drops our food. This is about 10-15 min after my interaction downstairs. I look at it and say "hey I'm sorry but we already cancelled this order with the server. We are leaving". He says "...but your food is here. Me: "OK but we don't want it we are leaving." Him: "Well box it up and take it with you. You ordered it" Me: "I ordered an hour ago, I cancelled it with the server, and we don't want to take it to go" Him: "But your food is HERE. You still have to pay for it because you ordered it." At this point I'm having to use a lot of restraint not to pop off on this kid who I realize is also the one that ignored us earlier. I ask to speak to a manager. He says I am the manager. I say ok I'll just get the corporate number. He says "I'll give that to you for free". Now I'm burning up. I go downstairs to close the tab bc I am NOT paying for the food. He walks toward the kitchen and talks to the server as they both glance at me with attitude and disgust. The ONE saving grace on that staff was the girl who adjusted my ticket then and there. She had to make a completely new tab removing all the birthday stuff and putting just our drinks on there. I was paying out when the "manager" realized she did not include the food and I could tell he was annoyed. She also had earlier brought hot water for my friend's baby bottle and I so wish I had gotten her name. This review was long but this establishment really pissed me off with their poor service, being understaffed, and poor communication. Working in service for years I'm pretty lenient but do your job! I didn't ask for anything unreasonable and had you either 1) communicated I cancelled my order or 2) not try and force me to take the food then you could have easily had that order go to another table before you dropped it at mine and it sat there. It was just 2 burgers for goodness sake. And I still will be reaching out bc with management like that they are bound to lose more customers. read more

Raul, the guy at the counter, was nice. The store has a sign that advertises snowcones for $3 + an additonal $5 to add rum. I was charged $11 instead of $8 and when I asked about it before swiping my card at the register, I was told that the sign was old and needed to be taken down. What?! Every tap has a description and a price per oz. Pour as little or as much as you want and hang out. They have food and a full bar upstairs on the third floor. They have a wide selection of beers, none of which are particular outstanding but all of which are drinkable. The bar food is pretty decent and hits the spot when it comes to satisfying hunger. Went to this bar in a group of seven. The store is basically three levels high, each level with 10 to 15 beers, ciders, or wines on tap. A little bit like Chuck-E-Cheese you get a wristband. You scan it at the tap and each ounce charges against your card on file. Prices are posted right on the display that tells what you're drinking. Super handy and people really liked it. You had the opportunity to try some beers you may not normally and only have to pay for an ounce or two if you didn't like it. For food I had a barbecue burger and tater tots. The burger was a good size and it was char-broiled so the flavor was outstanding. The bacon meat and cheese went well with the onion straws on the sandwich. It also came with a side of tater tots that were cooked correctly so they weren't greasy at all, still hot, and had that crunch plus puff that you get with correctly cooked tater tots. My girlfriend and I went here after attending an event at the High Art Museum on 5/6/22 around 9:30pm. We thought the set up of the place was so cool. Three floors with a variety of different self-serve taps on each floor including cocktails, water, beer, hard kombucha, wine, and seltzers! The taps register a wristband that you receive when you enter the building, and charge by the ounce. So I loved that you didn't have to commit to a whole serving of each drunk! It was a relaxing and entertaining environment that I would definitely return to! I did not have a problem with the food(my friends' food)/drinks. I ordered a Cuban sandwich. After they bring everyone's order, they tell me that they're out of the Cuban sandwich. Disappointed, I then ordered a fried chicken sandwich. They wait 20 mins (5 min after the kitchen closes) and tell me THEY ARE OUT OF THE CHICKEN SANDWICH!! They say that the "food" and "drinks" and different entities and on my BIRTHDAY they couldn't do anything(after it's their fault). They gave me only one free pity drink since it's their fault. I've tried twice to try this place, and weird stuff has been happening both times. There have been no other customers in there the two times I have gone. This last time we wanted to watch football on a Sunday (they only have local channels, no sports package). Only one person was working there, all doors were locked except the front and the cook was sick, so no food. I'm sympathetic to a sick cook, but not sure how this place can stay in business with whatever this model is that they have going on. If I ever get a beer, I will update my review! I love that it is three floors but they pretty much have the same amount of beers as the other location and even less of the wine/ciders than the Beltline location. Also a lot of them were out, which was disappointing. I ended up going to the bar because I wanted a martini. They were totally out of olive juice. I told her to make it without because I didn't want anything sweet. Of course it wasn't very good, I was expecting that, but then they had the audacity to charge me over $20 for it!
