It included an excellent lesson (shout out to my instructor Jason), decent rentals (notably the boots were nice and warm), and access to 2 easy slopes and a lift with 2 green slopes for practice. Once you scan the lift ticket, it's active for 4 hours which is plenty of time to get some skiing in. If you're new to this and want to get good, plan on taking more than one lesson. Not sure if it helps but I'll share my progression over one full day of skiing: It'd been 20 years since I skied, so I joined the morning lesson with the first timers and could ski down the bunny slopes comfortably by the end. I took another lesson the same day and was skiing down the green trails without any issues, although not the most efficiently (skis mostly but not always parallel). The facilities were clean and with everything you might need, hot food, drinks, a store, bonfires, wifi, a decent amount of locker space, and a very large area for rentals. It felt very safe, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. Parking wasn't an issue either. Overall, I enjoyed the lessons and my experience skiing at Wachusett, and I'd definitely go again!

We took one lift and the snow conditions were terrible. They were making snow late in the season and there were mounds in the middle of the trails with countless people falling. Customer service promised us comped tickets for next time we returned. I emailed a man named Chris Stimpson. He confirmed the 8 lift tickets to be comped on our next visit. When we reached out the next season to receive the tickets Chris told us they would not be honored despite sharing the emails. We will not return to Wachusett after this experience and being promised something via email and then not following through

It's not the worst place we've stayed, but nowhere near the best. Adequate? Sure I guess. It's a place to sleep who's prime is well behind it. Single level living, small clean and surprisingly quiet rooms and a big mowed green area behind it with a lazy river (that holds fish) beyond that. Our room was well past tired. Peeling wall finishes, rusty bathroom drains, marks and dents on the walls. I don't mind old, but old and run down are something else and this motel is pushing that line pretty hard. There is absolutely nothing to do in the area unless you get in the car for a half hour so thankfully the TV worked. We didn't try the WiFi but had a pretty reasonable cell signal. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The towels were think and scratchy. The office which is supposed to be warm and welcoming is cluttered to the point of being stifling. The owner seemed nice but I don't think that is enough. Oddly enough I would stay there again but only for lack of something better.

Sydney was knowledgeable and poised and kept the boys engaged. At the end of the presentation, each boy got a short ride on the sled. It was easily one of the coolest events of the year. If you're looking for a group activity or enrichment event, don't hesitate. After that first visit, both my kids begged to visit the dogs in Central MA to experience a full dog sled adventure. We signed up for the 5-mile ride. If you choose to visit Drift Away, *do* confirm your meeting location. We showed up at the address on the website to find no one there. Because of the confusion with the locations, Sydney graciously offered to include a mini-mushing experience in addition to the sled ride, so each of us got to mush solo for a short distance with a small team of dogs--a very cool feeling to be by yourself on a sled with the dogs. The 5-mile ride consisted of one of Drift Away's mushers, Tessa, driving our sled while the kids and I rode in the seat and standing in mushing position. Being the old lady that I am, I thought I would enjoy sitting more, but it was absolutely exhilarating to stand and imagine the experience of mushing myself. I could easily imagine how one could get hooked. You really gain an appreciation of the dogs, their intelligence, and their capacity. Rutland State Park, where we took our ride, was beautiful and peaceful. I will admit to booking this adventure mostly at the kids' behest, but I thoroughly enjoyed it myself. Great for families and adults. Before and after the ride, we got to interact with the dogs and mushers. Sydney, Kiara, and Tessa are fantastic young women who clearly know their facts and love their dogs. The kids and I helped harness the dogs before the ride and feed the dogs after the ride, all while hearing stories of each of the dogs and learning bits of their personalities. Beyond the experience of the mushing and sled ride, we were very impressed with these entrepreneurial young women who started with an interest in dog sledding when they were just 10 years old, pursued their passion, and developed this women-run business to support the dogs. It was amazing experience and a pleasure to support such a dedicated and hard-working team.

One final word of advice: the "dog" is awesome, but I think he may actually be an unregistered horse of some kind. On day two we woke up to 45 degree weather and discovered that the heater didn't work either. On day the three we woke up to a horrible smell. We discovered that the grey water tank was 1/3 full and the black water tank was 2/3 full. Yes, that's right; they sent us on our way with a tank full of someone else's waste. Fuller RV refused to discuss the situation with us and ushered us out the door. This company could actually make you sick. Stay safe, healthy and stay away from Fuller RV.

The tour guide/bus driver handed us out all of our tickets, and an itinerary and gave us his cell phone number should we need to contact him for any reason. Everything was well-planned with plenty of time to do what was scheduled and more. The bus stopped once on the way into the city and once on the way back, for breakfast and dinner. They offer a huge variety of tours as well as other services. While I probably wouldn't do a NYC tour again, I'll definitely look into their others.
