The only positive part of my experience was communicating with their staff, Abigail. The person responding to my texts, who I believe was Abigail, was responsive and helpful whenever I reached out to the company's main number. Unfortunately, despite her responsiveness, I still had difficulty getting the information I needed from the technician assigned to my project. I understand that delays can happen, but timely communication and following through on commitments are important. I've spent a significant amount of money on repairs, and the leak continues to be a problem. Jack was sent by Brandon, and I could sense his expertise from the way he asked questions and thoroughly examined the potential entry points for water. After hearing about the previous company's unsuccessful attempts to repair the leak, Jack flew a drone over my roof to check for any open seams on the copper roof dome. He then meticulously examined the roof with a toothpick and asked me to wait for the next rainstorm. He instructed me to send him videos of where the water was coming from. Jack also asked me to check the areas where the drywall had been opened up underneath the copper roof during the previous repairs to see if they had gotten wet. By process of elimination, he determined that the roof leak had been repaired, but the water now coming down from the window frame was coming from the gutter nearby. Immediately, he provided me with the contact information of the gentleman he works with, and I'm hopeful that the issue will be resolved soon. It all sounded great. We needed an entire roof of a Four-plex ripped and replaced. Communication was prompt and project moved along well. Before we sent final payment, we went over some remaining issues and things were fixed. Then things changed drastically. A major storm came and caused leaks. It took weeks for Scott to respond to the emergency request to have the issue patched up. A brand-new roof shouldn't be leaking. Another storm came by and again, it took days for him to reply back and take care of the issue once and for all. Any interior damage caused by these leaks were not covered under warranty, according to him, though that clause is unenforceable in the State of California for this situation. However, I had let it slide and decided to fix it myself later. Half a year later when one of the tenants moved out, I saw indentations across the ceiling as if sharp objects were pushed down from above. The tenant had never informed me, but she said that they appeared during the roof replacement. I also saw that the water heater exhaust pipe was loose and no longer attached to the roof frame. Same story for the HVAC exhaust pipe. It was clear that when the roof was replaced, the workers did not take great care to ensure the exhaust pipes were securely fastened back. I texted Scott. I called the number on the company's website. I sent a message through the website. I emailed. It's been a week with no response. [UPDATE: He finally responded after I submitted this review on Yelp and cited that interior damage is not covered under warranty. I informed him that this was untrue and am asking him to take responsibility for the damage caused. I rather not file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board, but will if he keeps hiding behind that unenforceable warranty clause. If necessary, I will have another roofer provide a second opinion, fix the issues, and have the State go after him for reimbursement.]

So many people are taking advantage of insurance companies demanding major repairs that may or may not be needed and there are a lot of roofing companies that are overcharging for work. He talks a lot about how mold is everywhere and grid to minimize because I think he's used to all the crazy worries we all have - so understand that's where he's coming from when he almost excessively tried to calm your fears. We had a substantial roof leak with mold in walls - all handled very well and professionally and nowhere nearly as expensive as it could have been. You won't regret calling him. Genuine good person. My home needed significant dry-rot and termite damage repair. After a thorough inspection by Andy and an extensive consultation regarding every detail needing to be addressed, including termite treatment and house painting, we agreed on a contract at a very fair price. His construction crew arrived as scheduled and launched into the project with great energy and professionalism. Over the term of the project the crew was very responsive to my questions, observations and requests. They left the worksite clean and orderly at the end of each day. Because of the large scope of this project, I was advised, weekly, on the frequency that the crew would be on site, averaging three days per week. This was completely acceptable to my family's schedule allowing us time to enjoy our outdoor areas on a regular basis. We opted for spot termite extermination rather than tenting and were only required to be out of the house for one afternoon. The exterminating team was thorough and professional. When construction was complete, painting began with a crew of three to five painters daily. Every piece of new wood was primed and received a minimum of two coats of paint. The team was responsive to every request I made. They did a fantastic job on an extensive array of ornamental iron and spiral staircase. The day before Thanksgiving much to our surprise, the roof started leaking after just spending 10,000 the week before for new installation and drywall in our attic. In panic mode we started looking for a local roof repair company. Andy's company answered the call right away and 2 hours later had identified the leaks and put up a tarp to protect the work we just had done. They came back 2 days later when the rain stopped and replaced the cracked roof tiles, and paper. The next day we were hit with more heavy rain. We are very happy to report that for very reasonable rate, and super fast service no more leaks!!! Andy came back personally to check how the roof was after that heavy rain. My home was infested with termites, and after receiving 3 quotes, we chose POW for their price and woodworking expertise. Josh and his team worked at my house for over a week, replacing/repairing my deck, awnings and wood eves. They were courteous, efficient and conscientious about their work. Most impressive was that at the end of every day, they cleaned up all of my back yard, so there was no dust or wood shavings anywhere! We chose to tent after the completion of the work, and they did a great job with that with no damage to roof tiles! They were flexible in working around our busy schedule and even opened the house on a Saturday to save us money on the hotel. We were in a crunch to get things repaired at our rental in Laguna Niguel before having a new tenant move in and Rob kindly came out that same day. He actually remembered our rental from 3 years ago! He was very thorough in his inspection as well as in explaining what needed to be repaired. I've had many repair jobs done on my house as it is an old house (roof, plumbing, foundation, etc). Usually, companies will try to sell you something extra claiming it's for your benefit when it it really wasn't necessary. That is not the case with Pow! Bug Squad. About ten years ago I noticed termites had infested an area in my Mission Viejo home. I asked a friend if he knew of a good termite service and he referred me to POW! Bug Squad. They came out fixed the problem quickly and inexpensively. They come out once a year for an annual service and we have not had any problems since. Horrible service we paid a lot to have our place treated for ants and a week later we still have ants. Like not one or 2 ants, tons (see pics). I had to put out more of my own traps. The man that came was very not friendly at all and left puddles of poison on my tile. When I called back the soonest they could come respray was 5 days after I called. I told them I'd get service elsewhere! Do not recommend using if you want to get rid of ants!!! POW! Bug Squad has serviced our home and some neighbors for many years. Today, I had our annual inspection/treatment and service contract renewal. POW responds quickly and effectively to my calls when I see pest activity. Their treatment and follow up on a large difficult honey bee hive between our ceiling and roof was amazing to watch. This company is the best extermination company I've ever used. I have kids, so ants from the babies left overs, and spiders are super dangerous. What a relief to have Drew come over, super cool guy, always on time! I'm sure most companies spray the same areas but whatever bug squad puts in their spray is much much stronger. I've lived in this home 5 years and rarely do we see ants even in the heat. And spiders are no more. No inside webs and shockingly no outside webs. Outstanding guys!!!! read more

Andy and his crew do great work and I highly recommend their services. I recently hired them to do termite work on my house that is going to be listed for sale. Their prices were very affordable but most importantly they did great work. They did the necessary repairs, painted as needed and were careful not to stain my concrete nor damage my plants. Finally a place that ended my termite problem! The office manager Cindy was very professional and called me back when she said she would. Never left me wondering if and when she would call me back. Pow Bug Squad did the termite inspection when I was selling my house. When we were able to close early they fit us in to an earlier appointment time. This is a great, honest company and they do quality work. Josh was very personable and took the time to answer all my questions. I had 3 other companies do the gophers in my backyard until Bug Squad finally came through. Their technician Drew was super nice and even gave me a pep talk for how bad the Lakers are doing. I was surprised how hard it was to find a good gopher control company. We have had the issue for a few years on and off and had 2 other compabies try to Caddyshack them. This company finally helped us until they were actually gone. Now my havanese can play in the backyard again. Haha. read more

We have a monthly service plan and have been using Bug Squad for over 12 years now at each of our Orange County locations.
