I went to this place thinking it was convenient to renew my nursing boards fingerprints in September 7, 2017. I paid $72 and they sent a copy off to the BRN. Assuming that the BRN received it, two years later I get a note from the BRN stating that it was never received . This whole time I have been delinquent with my fingerprints thinking that it was handled by Livescan Poway. I am soo upset and embarrassed. Came here recently to get the Livescan (incl DOJ & FBI). If you come w/ a billing code on your form, it costs about $27 for the rolling fees & all. Not bad at all! I made an appointment but I think they take walk-ins as well. I was a little earlier than my scheduled time, and waited about 5 minutes before it was my turn. It is a very small place, but if you come on a weekday morning like I did, you'll probably be in and out in 10 minutes! Lots of parking in a private lot out back. I'm sorry, but the staff was friendly, hours were convenient, but my prints are getting rejected from FBI for multiple states! I took pictures of my fingerprint cards and when I analyzed them and gave them to my husband who used to do security clearances, he said the prints were subpar, no wonder I got multiple rejections letters. I'm not going back to repeat and possibly get rejected again. Boo!! Since the request for the FBI background check came from out-of-state, the woman conducting the fingerprinting session must have misunderstood what we needed. My boss ended up coming back to the office without the correct materials. I ended up speaking with Sam, the owner, who listened to my concerns and took care of us. This is my second time here. The first time was with a guy & he was quick. Typed in my info, took my fingerprints and took my payment all in 15 minutes. It was great & really easy. Now here for my second time there is a woman & she's not as quick. Each person is taking about 30 minutes & there were 6 people waiting. 2 already left. Both times I came around the same time but on different days. Honestly she is really taking her time. I really want to leave but I'm afraid of leaving & coming back to find 6 more people waiting. read more

Came after work to get my fingerprints done for my new job with school district. Followed the signs to a door with a note that read" back in 25 mins" waited in the lobby. The whole time I waited, the conversation from the room was drifting down the hall. Sounded like the person working was having visitors. Child included. Personal conversation with no regard towards the fact that people could be waiting. Once the door was opened, I was able to walk in and see 3 women and a child just hanging out and chatting. There was no stopping the personal conversation to help me. The child actually bumped into my a couple of times with out even an apologetic look from the mother. After about 3 to 5 mins of me being n the room, the women finally said their goodbyes and left. Then I was finally able to get my fingerprints done. Not only were our staff treated quickly and professionally each time one came in to be fingerprinted over a several day period, but 8 weeks later, Sam quickly retrieved and graciously restored our documentation (shredded irretrievably in our own office error), so we could move forward quickly.
