Came to FedEx to just drop off a package. This FedEx is my go to, I got my Passport photo done here as well last year. One employee was busy with another customer, so a second person came and assisted me quickly and with a smile. I had a pre made shipping label so I was able to get scanned and my package attended to as I expected. Great location, close to my work and on the way home. Being in a little strip type mall there is plenty of parking as well. This location offers a little bit of everything. Printing, shipping, copies, and fax (yes that is right I said you can send or receive a fax). I have been to make copies, self service and very easy. I have also been to send a fax for my daughters college education, odd but it is hard to find a fax machine nowadays and rare someone actually asks for verification via fax anymore I find. I have had fliers and posters printed, very easy... place your order online and prints are ready really fast (usually same day depending on the time of day you submit your order). Last visit I had to send something back via FEDEX Ground for return. Again, quick and easy I was in and out. The staff is always super helpful and very personable and friendly. Prices are reasonable for printing and copies as well. If you need it, chances are this Fedex location has it! read more

I went to this location today to print fourteen documents, make copies and ship two letters. One female at this location has a very bad attitude and that is probably why they have few customers. Every time that I requested assistance, I was met with disdain. I believe that she is technically competent; however, providing good customer service is not her forte. Also, I wasn't able to select and print all fourteen documents at once. You must print documents one at a time. I finished twelve documents and then the copier encountered an internal error. I tried to be funny and make a joke about me breaking it because I had to print fourteen documents, but she chose to not make any response. They did print all fourteen documents for me as the printer had stopped working, but I won't return because of the poor customer service. Go to a UPS Store instead. read more

This single star is for the horrible service Erin provides with a sour face every time she sees me. I've come in three times now, and the last time I did so without a smile because the first two i definitely tried. She is a different story, at least with me. But when the nice people of a different nationality than mine walk up to her she's happy to strike up a conversation. I find that very telling. Everyone at this location ALWAYS greets me and every other customer with a smile and pleasant conversation and I've been coming here for about two years now. I placed an order on Saturday to pick up on Sunday. When I arrived 5mins before the order should have been done, I encountered employee Edgar. Edgar came strolling from the back playing with food in his mouth. Edgar asked me what my order was. I was very specific in my answer. Edgar halfway looked for my order and waited for another employee to help. Edgar again asked me what my order was. I was very specific with my response. Edgar and his smart mouth replied, you said that already. .... But this was after he asked me again what the order was. As I was waiting for this FedEx to print my order after the 14hrs that they had to do so prior. Edgar tells me that they are just waiting for it to print ...as if I'm not aware of what was happening. FedEx (Poway)! So, first and foremost, this location is open 24-7! Sweet. It's also one of the larger FedEx locations I've seen. Considerably larger than the Mira Mesa branch for example. I noticed they have dedicated photo printing stations. They have self-service giant color plotters. Big workspaces, lots of room to work on your projects. Only about four self serve workstations tucked into the back though. They have a decent size section of electronics accessories too, so if all else fails and you really need a charging cable at midnight... keep this place in mind as a back-up plan. I haven't used them for shipping so I can't comment on service, except to say that I was greeted on entry and when I left they said goodbye and thank you. Seemed friendly. read more

DO NOT send ONLINE PRINT ORDERS HERE (but maybe that's what they want so they have less to do). I picked up my online print order and it was EXTREMELY FADED. When I brought it back for a reprint, I was told that the printers are old and out of date, and they used CC4 cardstock instead of the CC2 Glossy -- and that's the best its going to print out. I was also told that there are NO REFUNDS ON ONLINE ORDERS. And that's it. What?! I normally deal with the Fed Ex in Mira Mesa, so I went there to see if they can fix this. I've rarely had any problems with online print orders -- but that may be because I always go to the one in Mira Mesa. So, just this once I went to the one in Poway because it closed at 8:00pm instead of 7:00pm. BIG BIG MISTAKE. FEDEX -- if your reading this, your company needs to send several SECRET SHOPPERS with ONLINE ORDERS to the one in POWAY. read more

One of the worst... if not THE WORST place I have been to and experience horrible customer service. Multiple occasions I have gone there and every worker acts like they are to busy to help you. When they finally ready to help you they give generic directions in a rush (very fast for you to understand, like you have done this before) point somewhere and rush back to conversations with their co workers. COVID and lack of workers was clearly not a problem. Taking a few minutes to explain to a customer the process was just to big of a burden to them. I went to kinkos yesterday to print an important document that I needed to laminate. I went to the front desk and the lady at the front helped me (I'm so sad I can't remember her name or else I would ask for her again!). She was so kind and helpful. Printed my document on a thicker better quality paper and laminated it for me. She also suggested to print it on a waterproof paper and I did that as well. Top quality product. It looked very professional and I would absolutely go back again. It was an amazing price very affordable. The customer service was above and beyond!!! Will recommend!!! I could have sworn I'd written a 5 star review for this place before. But since I haven't consider this a review update as in a second 5 star review. Everytime I've been in, the employees have always been awesome, patient and friendly. I really appreciate the effort they put in to making sure I get what I need completed. I just stopped in and dropped off a box tonight, that had a pre-paid shipping label. The gentlemen saw I was getting ready to tape it to the box and seal the box. He let me know that he could afix the label and tape the box shut for me. The review I thought I had written before, was super long and I fee awful for it not being posted, but the gentlemen helped me build out a booklet bound by staples for a client of mine. He was patient with me as I figured out the page order and modified the project files. I seriously owed the man a case of beer or a nice bottle of whiskey for the amount of time, energy and effort he put in to making sure I was happy with it all. I was in Kinkos for hours and left very happy and confident. read more

I have used this location for years, and it has always been consistently inconsistent with service standards. Today was the absolute worst treatment I have ever received at this store. I was attempting to make color copies, as I do every year, and the copies were not coming out as clear as they had in the past. I was concerned that something may have been wrong with the machine, so I stopped my copies and went to the front desk. I laid out the papers and waited several minutes to be acknowledged - and then I was treated like an inconvenience. I explained the issue, and the woman "helping" me very curtly remarked that I was going to have these issues if I used the process I tried. She did not offer another process, she did not offer any guidance. She walked away to go back to her computer (away from the counter I was at) and I was feeling overwhelmed and upset that I could not get what I needed - but instead of focusing on the disappointment, I asked for help getting a sign printed. A Google search said they did signs same day, so when she told me "we don't do that here" I was confused. I mentioned the website and she said they have to send everything to LA and it would be 48 hours minimum to receive it. Again, she was over at the computer, acting like I was inconveniencing her. I realized that not only was she not going to help me, but neither were any of the other employees - and there were several that easily could have come over to me. I am very disappointed and hope the behavior of the employees there is addressed and given some much-needed customer service training. read more

Idk if we had a communication error here but seriously $780 to make 1,000 plain white paper color copies seems a little bit on the high side. We're talking 2 reams of plain white copy paper with some color ink costs that much. I was expecting way less than half of that. I ended up with a better deal on Vista Print for $130. Well First of All I come here to make copies or if I want to send something via FedEx . Now They do fax's also so if I want to fax something then I come here also . The thing I notice about this location is that they do have a couple of Stations for you to go on the internet but it does cost quite expensive if you are on there a long time . Now this location is located in the same shopping center as The movie theatre in Poway and this location is not quite as big as the other ones . Parking is not an issue here plenty of Parking. It will never be a Problem. As for the service here it is just ok but I just come here to mostly make copies and the copy machine are self service and they do accept Credit Cards at the copy Machines. Plus if you want to fax something just ask the associate and he will assist you with that also . But the fax machine is self service also . Overall Ok and I shall Return and make more copies if needed. read more

I am a pastor whose primer went down today and we are having a large funeral tomorrow. We could not print so we went to this location to print the programs. Kind of an emergency. We were asking to have 100 8.5 x 11, double sided copies done. We were first told that we can do that for you. Then the manager came up and said no and said the earliest they could do the job was by 3:45 the following day and that there would be a rush job fee. Well that did me no good as the funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Thank God that Edgar was there to walk me through the process at the do it yourself copier. The manager would not give in for this small job. I also brought my own paper and was given no credit for that. I will not be using this location again. Customer service, except for the associate Edgar, was horrible. There was only two other people in the location with only one job being printed. I needed help and the manager was not willing to even try. Very disappointed. read more

I've recently had to work on a project for school which required a few stops at a variety of FedEx Office locations. Many employees at these locations seemed new and unsure of themselves, or flat out didn't care. This location is the exception. First off, it is one of the few that are 24 hours. I tend to come in here during the evenings and I've always found Ashley to be a model of customer service. Shes very helpful, knowledgeable, and doesn't make you feel stupid or in any way wasting her time with questions. read more

Just had about the worst customer service experience I've ever had at this Kinko's!! I come here often to print stuff and the staff is usually very friendly. Now, I will NEVER come back here! Today, at 1:30 pm, I came in to buy a greeting card. When I walked up to the checkout counter, two other people were waiting and the phone was ringing off the hook. No one was around! Another customer walks back to find an employee and that employee comes out, talking on a cell phone, and rudely tells that customer she needs to go back to the front. Another customer is ready to check out. So now four of us are waiting with no one around to help out. A fifth customer walks in and when he notices how many people are waiting with no one around, I tell him in jest "No one is working here right now, but there's a girl in the back on a cell phone." Well then Kinko's your employee steps out and in a very CONFRONTATIONAL manner says "I am on my lunch break that is why I'm on the phone. You need to go talk to her" and points to her coworker on the other side of the room helping another customer. (So, there was someone working there...but no one was at checkout). Then when I say back "so who's supposed to help us at checkout?" She says "Excuse me?!!" As if she wanted to fight with me. And I say to her "This is how you talk to customers?" She kept saying something to me, but I walked away. Kinko's: This is how you train your employees to treat customers!! Disgraceful! She deserves to fired! I then walked over to the other employee and said "excuse me, a lot of people are waiting at checkout." And she basically said she was helping this lady and we all needed to wait--when we all had been waiting. She was nice about it, I just wish she was better at multitasking. At this point, I had to leave and left without the card. Kinko's: your customers should never be THREATENED by an employee! Your customers should also not feel like they are a burden. Management: I expect to hear back from you. Unless management is one of the girls working today. In that case, no thank you!! read more

If you were desperate, in need of printing a document and your printer was out of ink like mine was, this is the place. You can either talk to someone and ask them to use the computer there or just read the instructions on the computer and do it yourself. Either way, you are going to have to pay $10 monthly charge + $ for the time the computer being used. So, buy your ink. read more

$2.40 to fax a single document. Go to PostalAnnex across the street, in Von's shopping center. The guy ahead of me was trying to fax only a few documents & we were both waiting for a LONG TIME. The good news: me and the guy who were waiting started a sort of support group for sufferer's of overpricing and faxing nightmares. When I asked the crew of people who work there if there were any more fax machines, they glared at me for interrupting whatever they were doing and simply said no. If I can avoid this place, I will. 1 star: they have a copy machine (I don't) 1 star: open 24 hrs (only place in Poway that's still open really) 1 star: convenient extra space for organizing paperwork or finishing off projects. -1 star: inconsistent customer service. -1 star: can be very overpriced. read more

Dropped a 30lb 48 inch package off on Oct 19th (this review written Nov 13). Staff failed to scan acceptance, and package went missing. If.... IF the box did get onto the drivers truck he/she failed to scan as well. It was never scanned. How does a 30lb 48 inch box goes missing? Theft. Unless FedEx can prove otherwise, they have a theft problem here. At least one employee, if not more. Currently filing police report and starting court proceedings against FedEx Poway. DO NOT SHIP HERE! If you MUST ship here... MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THEM SCAN, AND DO NOT LEAVE THE STORE UNTIL THE WEBSITE SHOWS THEY RECEIVED YOUR PACKAGE. However, I ended up calling them at 11:30am to let them know I would actually need it by noon and they let me know the order was done! Amazing!
