Said he didn't want to examine her In fear of her saying he caused more damage. He argued with her in an open office and was so rude that my girlfriend walked out without being seen. When asked for a total refund for Inadequate services and product, the office refused to refund. Claims they HAVE TO see my girlfriend to issue a refund after My girlfriend expressed that she would not be coming back for a THIRD TIME, or at all after she was so incredibly disrespected BY THE DENTIST. The person we spoke to on the phone (614-948-2388) was exceptionally rude unwilling and unhelpful AND SHES THE MANAGER. Refused to issue a refund then claimed I was threatening her when I told her without refund I would contact The BBB & dispute charges with my credit card. She also called my girlfriend a liar after she mentioned hearing staff talk about using the wrong equipments her intial service. Please beware of this company, their incompetence and poor, POOR customer service. What business doesn't refund a bad product with worse service? SAMPSON DENTAL! You'll notice on every page, Google, Facebook, Yelp, these people are a joke and instead of making it right with their customers they just argue? What kind of customer service is that? However, I needed some simple x-rays of my teeth and either the x-ray holder was TOO BIG for my mouth or the "hygenist?" was placing them incorrectly and they wouldn't go in. I said, OW. YOU'RE HURTING ME. So she shoved harder and started fussing like a 2 year old. I said, STOP. THEY DON'T FIT. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. She stamped her feet, fussed like a baby and said, so you are refusing the procedure? NO, i said. IT DOESN'T FIT. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. She called in another staff member to complain that i was Un-Cooperative or something. This staff member did NOTHING USEFUL. Didn't even speak to me at all. 1st woman- then braced herself like she was pushing a bolder up a mountain and began SHOVING the appliance back into my mouth. It still didn't fit. I was in so much PAIN that i nearly jumped out of the chair. Almost to tears, the 1st highly trained and skilled "hygenist" finally brought in Dr. Cheung. I told him the appliance didn't fit in my mouth. Please do something different. He immediately told them to do the xray a different way. No problems. It was done in a moment. Professional. I DON'T BELIEVE that the xray film would not fit in my mouth with the application of even the slightest professionalism or patience or that ANY of the fussing and violence to my mouth associated with getting the x-ray was even necessary. Any person even remotely interested in actually getting the job done- would have accomplished this simple task with almost no trouble at all. This female hygenist and the staff in general are Stunningly Brave, absolutely Beautiful, perfect in Every Way and are obviously being oppressed. Please don't change a thing. They frequently reschedule at the last minute due to staffing problems, then expect you to accept inconvenient time slots with no regard for your schedule. The final straw was today's interaction. After they changed my long-standing appointment, I accepted the replacement time and later realized I couldn't make it work and was told I'd be charged a $50 fee. They referenced a recorded call to justify that I had accepted the replacement time, then the office manager began listing times I had rescheduled over the past 15 years, none of which were last minute. Many of those changes were due to work travel, but that context was ignored entirely. I was then told I would have to prepay that fee to make any future appointments. The entire conversation felt like harassment, not customer service. This isn't new. I've experienced extended wait times during visits, and the front office staff have been rude before. I overlooked it because I believed in Dr. Shultz, but there is only so much disrespect you can tolerate. There are also concerns about quality of care. My mom had a crown replaced here that broke off within a week, leading to a tooth extraction, with no accountability from the office. I dismissed it for years because I personally had good experiences, but there is a noticeable difference between treating a younger patient and an older one. After today, I've already found a new practice and will not be returning. If you value your time, money, and being treated with respect, look elsewhere.

I moved to California a few years ago, and I have been dragging my feet trying to find a new dentist. I finally went today and my new dentist was telling me how good of work Dr Straker had done on my teeth, and my fillings. I have had everything from a root canal to new teeth put in (from a car accident) from Mr Straker. He has always been a real nice guy, and a professional. His staff is very friendly, and I always left there feeling like really cared about me. They had payment plans for me, so when I was a poor college kid I could afford to keep my teeth up to date. Dr Straker is a great Dentist and I have a feeling after you go there you will be with him for life. Just dont move out of state, because then you will be looking at flights back to Columbus just to get your teeth cleaning. Tell him Brian Reichle sent you, and that I miss them. Haha.

The office seems to have alot of updated tech for X-rays and 3D imagery which gave a very clear picture of your mouths health. We tried this dentistry because it was conveniently located by our house but I would say the prices were the same as other dentistry offices we've been to and they review all of the costs with you so there are no surprises. The staff were all very friendly.
