They recently started offering Plumbing services and my first experience was so-so. As part of the maintenance plan, you now get a plumbing inspection every year. The plumber who came out today was very nice but missed an issue that I pointed out to him. He did have his Master Plumber that was hiding in the truck (? Seemed odd haha) come take a look. There was some estimate issues leading me to think the installation of a toilet would be $1,000 for labor alone. However, the owner was quick to rectify and look into the issue personally once he became aware, and was very open to feedback on how to make the estimates more clear. I would still like to see them itemize the cost of materials in the future, but it seems to be something at least on his radar. I would give this company a chance if you're having issues. They seem to truly want to do the right thing by the customers and their employees, which is important.

I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with Plumbing Pals that I want to share so others…read moredon't go through the same. I called them about a kitchen sink issue where water was draining slowly, and pipe is leaked or cracked under the sink. I clearly mentioned both issues during the call. They told me there would be a $78 diagnostic/service fee, which would be credited toward the final repair cost if I chose to go ahead with the work. That seemed fair, so I agreed. The technician who came out did not do any repair work. He looked at the issue and told me he only handles drain cleaning, not pipe replacement and that a different plumber would need to come for that. He also said if he attempted to unclog the drain, it would worsen the leak and the sink still couldn't be used. After he left, my card was charged $78. Shortly after, I received a quote of $475 to unclog and replace the P-trap (drain pipe). Even though it seemed high, I approved it. I also downloaded a $50 coupon from their website, as they suggested. Once the work was completed by a plumber the next day, I asked to confirm that the $78 would be credited toward the $475, along with the coupon. He said only the coupon would apply, and the $78 would not be refunded or included, even though that fee was supposed to cover diagnostics, and this job was a direct result of it. I called Plumbing Pals for clarification, and they sent me a recording of my initial call as "proof" that I only requested drain cleaning. Ironically, that very recording clearly shows I said there was a leak or crack in the pipe that might need replacement, which confirms I was upfront from the beginning. It's obvious they either didn't listen or chose to ignore what I said. When I tried to escalate the matter, I was connected with a supervisor named April, who was extremely rude and dismissive. She insisted that the $78 would not be refunded or credited and told me if I wasn't happy, I "didn't need to do business with them again." As a customer, I'm not a plumber, I rely on professionals to diagnose the issue (which is why they charge the service fee in the first place), communicate honestly, and apply the service fee toward the repair as advertised. This company failed on all fronts. In short, this was a misleading, overpriced, and unprofessional experience. I regret using Plumbing Pals and strongly suggest others look elsewhere for honest and respectful plumbing service.

He pulled up my toilet use the auger on my drain my house took down one of the drains the line to take it down put in rubber gasket stuff merge it back and came back up and told me that everything was fine and he was done. They charged me $550 for I felt the price was fair. The next day I noticed my toilet was came back out, supposedly fixed it. It continued to leak. A week or so went by. I figured I would just take care of the leak myself under the toilet. I had to replace a valve under my kitchen sink so I sent my son into the crawlspace when he got down there. We had 4 inches of water all over the crawlspace, water from my washing machine, my dishwasher and kitchen sink all over the crawlspace. My son went down to look to see where the leak was at and found there was a punched in the side of the drain. I called back up and told the situation they came out put a fan in front of the crawl opening and tried to charge me another 165 dollars because I was "such a good customer " would not take responsibility for anything and wasn't planning to fix the hole because my "son did a good job patching it". Then wanted to charge me more to fix the toilet leaking as well. There are a bunch of hucksters don't use them.

We called them over a year ago to replace a water heater that decided to kick it the weekend we had guests staying with us. After calling three plumbing companies, Guardian was the first to respond...as I think about it, we didn't hear from the other two for days! Anyway, after explaining this was an emergency situation they made it a priority and came the same day. Tony installed a brand new water heater and we were back in business! A year and a half later, we encountered an issue with one of our showers. Again, Guardian came to the rescue! They identified and fixed our problem PRONTO! Once he arrived, ahead of his truck, he did a great job getting a plan together to attack the problem. When the truck arrived, he moved quickly and cleared the clogged pipe. We were in shock over the state of our house, but Mike was the consummate professional and clearly laid out the options moving forward. I got the immediate sense that he was fair and not looking to take advantage of anyone. He explained best case and worst case for each option and applied no pressure as we tried to figure out cost, insurance ramifications, urgency and other factors. We made our decision and he committed to fixing it as quickly and economically as possible. Fast forward to the repair. He and his guys were on time, professional and very respectful. They prepped for a clean departure and started the work. What initially looked like a best case, started going sour because of where the problem was in the pipes, but the guys did everything they could to not take the job to the next level, which would have cost a lot more money. Mike and the guys went above and beyond to save an exterior retaining wall, which would have cost me thousands to repair/replace. They easily could have just taken the easier and more expensive option but they found a way to fix everything without digging up my wall and walkway. I get the written estimate the next day and it was for a 40 gallon water heater and the cost was $4,100 with my discount. In the meantime, I got 2 other estimates for a 50 gallon water heater for $2,395 and $2,250. It seems as though this company is not giving the customer the promised labor rate discount they promise when they have you sign up for a maintenance contract. Either that, or they just inflate the actual price to make up for the discount. Either way, I am now looking for a new HVAC company with honest pricing and accurate estimates.
