Hubs and I played a round here in October shortly after they reopened after their Green and Bunker Renovation Project. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was top notch. Hubs has played here a few times in the past year or so before the renovation and said the renovation has made a huge difference. The course was in great condition. I admit, I was a little nervous to play since I'm a beginner and am used to playing executive courses. However, it felt beginner friendly. We also lucked out that the group behind us were nice and didn't judge my skills or lack there of. I do keep pace of play. We stopped by the restaurant after hole 9 to try and grab a quick bite. To our pleasant surprise, the staff said they would bring our food to us, which was a really nice touch! It didn't take long and I was eating tacos by hole 11. I really enjoyed the course and the overall experience. Would love to play here again! read more

Do not ever book here for your kids!!!! Their youth rate is absolutely ridiculous. They offer 15% off whatever the current rate they're charging for adults is. They've already upped their prices the last couple years to an obscene amount for Gilbert, Arizona. My 15 year old son just paid $96 on a weekday for a 2:20pm tee time. Every other course in this side of town offers a WAY better youth program to help encourage the youth to get out and play. Power Ranch should be embarrassed. read more

This was a really nice course and the greens were pure and in really good shape. The fairways were super hard so you could get a lot of roll out on your drives. The service was outstanding from the cart guys to the front desk. The Marshall came around a couple of times to make sure that we were on pace which we basically were the entire time with the exception of maybe 1 time. It was a little annoying that we kept coming up to us almost very 5th hole or so to check in and let us know if we are on pace. I can respect the fact that they try to keep pace of play smooth and efficient but the Marshall coming around multiple times was getting a little excessive and annoying. Came into town from NY. Played 3 different courses while here. This was by far the nicest, best maintained and middle priced of the 3. All of the workers were super nice, especially the starter. We also saw the cart girl 4 maybe 5 times during the round. Will play here again when we come back out next year. read more

Power ranch is a great course to start your Arizona trip on because it is super open. Playability : super open and friendly for all skill levels. Cost : We paid two rounds for $200. In Arizona, in peak season, this is actually on the cheaper end. Food: There's a sign for best prime rib in East Mesa so we had to get the prime rib. The food took well over 60 minutes but they comped our bottle of wine and a beer. The prime rib was absolutely fantastic but they had this super super salty, dark beef bouillon on it, and it was kind of disgusting, so I had to wash it off with my napkin. It feels like they accidentally put it on. Value. A combination of good food, and approachable Golf makes this a fantastic and enjoyable day. read more

They closed for 4 months last summer to completely revamp their greens and bunkers, and both ponds. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The rangers do a good job of managing pace of play. The team on the beverage cart are fantastic! The change to the greens has been a significant improvement. They roll true and fairly quick. The drainage from the bunkers is great. Twice this winter there has been some heavy rain and the course is cart path only, but the bunkers have no standing water and are still playable. read more

I didn't really expect much from this place. However it was a very pleasant experience here . The course it's self was In ok condition, they are currently working on areas for maintenance. We had a very good time, and it was definitely worth coming out. Now the driving range isn't the greatest. Mats only, and not much room. Putty green was closed down for maintenance. The layout was decent, wasn't to enthused with a few tee boxes. Overall, great time, great company. read more

First time in 20 years the golf course conditions were horrible paid $55 around for 18 holes and basically the fairways were awful the greens were sand. They should warn people about the conditions and lower the prices. Obviously, they've spent all their money on the new branding of power ranch. We brought our neighbors here their first time, it was a horrible experience. We've been golfing for 20 years and have NEVER seen the conditions so bad. read more

This course has come down drastically from its glory. This used to be a saggy after course in the East valley. It had amazing greens, fairways were soft and great to hit off of, bunkers were descent and the rough was ok as well. Now, today after this mornings round, it's a dive course! There massive bald patches on all of the greens. Meaning straight mud patches that are anywhere from 1'x1' to massive patches covering a third of the green. Then there are greens with sod on them as they are actively watering them by hand while your golfing. You putt and watch your ball bounce all over the place. Traps had lakes in them and were all like soup. Fairways have massive bald spots all over as well. Hitting off of them is a nightmare. Honestly the only part that was in good shape were the tee boxes, and carts. The staff was not bad. They were warm and picked up my clubs at my car. No complaints there they were great. I personally am not a great golfer but I also don't want to go out and have bad course shape make me feel worse about my game. I won't be back here again for a long time. Such a shame too it was an amazing course before. read more

Solid course. A group of friends and I were visiting Arizona and this was the nearest course to us. We had a great time. The greens were not too fast not to slow. We are by no means regular golfers, but we still managed to come out without hitting any houses or cars. The course was a little pricey but I'd say it was worth it. read more

What a terribly ran golf course. They "partner" with several golf pros that use their site to reserve training time, and when those golf pros leave your kid stranded, they want nothing to do with any part of the situation. It's their site, their course and their reputation. The head pro wouldn't even return my call. It's a typical below average course in the Phoenix metro area. Go anywhere else... read more

Fun experience here. We had the 8:04am tee off time. The first 7 holes were killers from the mega swarm of mosquitoes lurking in the shade or sand traps. After that the course got fun, especially for a novice like me. They do offer you free bug spray at the pro shop before you head out. read more

Greens were so slow and course not in great shape. The people in the shop were unfriendly and unhelpful at best. I wouldn't recommend. Charges us for 18 holes knowing we would only get in maybe 14. read more

The course is basically an overpriced muni. There are significant places on several greens that are pure dirt patches--parts where the green is literally dead. A fair amount of dead patches in the fairway as well. The greens were mowed unevenly on some holes. The sand in the bunkers was abysmal, even taking into account a rain storm the night before--played like packed clay no matter where you took a drop from the rain-induced puddles/mud in the traps. There are no "oh wow, that's beautiful" holes anywhere on the course. I am taking into account and giving the course credit because it's right before over-seeding, otherwise I wouldn't give it two stars. I should add that the clubhouse and restaurant staff were extremely pleasant and engaged, so that was a plus. read more

This golf course is pretty good, not outstanding, but good. A few memorable holes, and a decent tournament course when they speed up the greens and make tough pins. The 9th and 18th holes are nice and tough, with water and bunkers by the green, but there's a lot of birdies out here. The long-hitters will love this golf course, all par 5's are somewhat reachable for the bombers. In a month, the bermuda rough will come out of dormancy and the course will be a little more demanding off the tee. Fun experience, just wish I woulda made the cut last week on the gateway tour. :) 4 stars read more

Super sad this course was a top course for a long time and now it is in horrible shape. Played there today and quit after 9 holes. Fairways are in rough shape and barren spots everywhere. The greens are even worse. Looks like something got in the soul and they couldn't recover it. I would not recommend playing here. For what used to be a great course is now a dog track. Went for the back 9 and breakfast like I usually do. But they broke a water line while we were on the course. After arriving at clubhouse for prepaid breakfast we were told it was closed due to line breakage and even tho I always get the Benedict (12$) they offered to refund 4$ ....ridiculous. never coming here again read more

This is a basic course that is in good shape, NOTHING MORE! Newer golfers and budget golfers may think this course is very good, but if you have golfed several nice courses you will probably be disappointed with this one. The staff is not as knowledgeable as a golf course staff should be. Overpriced for a typical city course that also offers memberships so a few residents can feel exclusive. Definitely won't be playing this course again. Boring! read more

I have played here a LOT the past 4 years. Played June 2nd, 2018 after a 4 month layoff. Played in the early PM for $25 thru GolfNow. The greens were as bad as I've ever seen. Anywhere. Until they are fixed even $25 is a gouge on unsuspecting golfers. read more

We love this course. The golf is just challenging enough to hold interest. Impressive greens. Very well kept. What makes Trilogy special are the staff and lots of regular, friendly golfers. The Slate has a fantastic bar and delightful menu. It's a good course to bring visitors to or make your home course. We enjoyed our year there very much. read more

Nice little layout, has a little bit of everything, short tricky par fours, nice par fives, long tough par three's. Course is in excellent shape, greens are about as good as they come, especially for this time of year. Staff is friendly and helpful, restaurant is solid, try the bagel dog you will wish everyone had them. read more

Play here on 7/6/16, this course is in excellent shape for this time of year. The fairways are well kept and greens runs true. We played from composite tees and the course can be challenging. Cart girl Jamie was very nice, atmosphere was good, nice practice facility. Over all a good day of golf, I'd play here again. I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 because they took away the chilled towels when we got done with our round at around 4:00. read more

My girlfriend and I made a tee time here Friday morning and were excited to play what was labeled a four star course on golf now. Unfortunately we discovered that both the course and the staff were more like 1 star. The course allowed us to book a 10:12 am tee time for 100 dollars a piece. When we got to the course, we were stuck in between two very slow foursomes. On one hole, the foursome behind us, who happened to be members, asked us how we got between their two groups in a very rude tone. We told them the course had a tee time available. They sounded as if they wanted us to let them play through, but that wasn't happening since their group of wives ahead of us couldn't keep a ball in play and their pace was incredibly slow. There wasn't one Marshall on the course to monitor pace. A round took us over 5 hours and overall wasn't an enjoyable experience. The group behind us even went as far as to tell us that the course ripped us off charging us 100 dollars a piece. It sounds to me like this course takes advantage of out of towners and jacks up rates and puts them into as many tee time slots as possible. Their members don't exactly create an enjoyable environment as well. Overall, this is a residential course that isn't anything special. I'd advise them to take a lesson in ethics and take their wannabe private course off of golf now. I wouldn't rank them 4 stars. I'd give them 0 if it would let me. There are way too many courses in AZ to settle for this one. Do yourself a favor and find one of them instead. read more

4 is a little over rated but just by a half point... so i would say its 3.5. i always round up. anyway its a nice course and well kept, but its flat. i am not a big fan of flat courses. i cannot remember my signature hole, so i guess i owe it to myself for a revisit. i hated to pull my trick card out and just say hole 1 is my signature hole.
