Very disappointing experience with Safelite…read more Safelite installed/repaired glass on my vehicle, and during the installation the rear-view mirror came off. I then had multiple follow-up appointments where the issue was still not properly fixed. One technician came out without the replacement glass and only re-glued the mirror, even though the repair did not appear sufficient. The mirror failed again the same day. Another technician came out and again did not have the replacement glass needed to complete the repair. A later appointment was scheduled, but the technician never showed up. After speaking with a supervisor and giving Safelite another opportunity to correct the problem, Safelite refused to complete the repair. At this point, I have been left with a defective repair, wasted appointments, and additional expenses. I expected Safelite to stand behind its work and warranty, but that has not been my experience.

After the replacement was completed, they left glass, not only on the inside of my trunk door, but also in the inside of my trunk deck, where is not reachable once the glass is put in. Also, my rear-view camera was damaged. When I called next day and asked them to come and correct the job, they set an appointment and did not come. Same thing next day. And then, on the third appointment set to fix the mistake, that was due to their technicians mistake, they called and said they will not be coming to fix it because they do not possess the equipment capable to do the job. They Offered no refund or discount. I was hung up on repeatedly, appoints that were made were no shows 3 days in a row. The level of professionalism was horrid and offensive. I was promised a call from a supervisor multiple times and never received one. All in all, I spent more money correcting their mistakes, than it cost me to repair the glass itself. I asked multiple times for the company to come take their glass back in return for my money, which they refused and offered me a $20 check in exchange, after I paid almost $500 for the repair. All in all, it was the most offensive and disappointing job I've ever been a part of. Highly recommend staying clear of this company!
