I have been having my car serviced by the owner of this business for a few years now, as well as in a previous location. The auto technicians here are excellent and reliable mechanics. My car is a 2017 and has a lot of miles on it, so things have been needing replaced as of late, which is to be expected on older models with a lot of mileage. The team at this auto shop have done, and continue to do amazing work on my car. Parts and labor are not cheap, regardless of where you go, not to mention car parts are all made with plastic nowadays. Still, the quality of parts and labor I receive here are excellent. I'm also impressed with their concern for my safety in being 100% certain the vehicle is completely safe and in perfect working order, testing and retesting, before I get in my car and drive off. While you'd expect that this is a given, you'd be surprised at some of the experiences I've had with 'other' mechanics! These gentlemen are honest and excel at auto repairs, having never failed to help me when the chips are seemingly down. I never, ever feel in any way over charged or taken advantage of, which has definitely happened to me at other auto shops. They have kindly saved me a lot of money and future aggrevation in repairs. They really go above and beyond. I would like to also note that the estimates they give me for work I'm requesting always fall closely within the 'range given,' so I know what to expect costwise. I'm on a fixed income and have to know the cost I'm facing. I'm so grateful for the work they've done and I no longer feel a sense of dread when I go to have my car serviced regularly. I had already taken my car to two other mechanics who were unable to repair the car properly and, from the looks of things, made the problem even worse. Having honest and trustworthy mechanics is beyond valuable in today's world. The mechanics at GT Auto, that worked on my car, Reny, JB, Rick and Jeff, are very open, honest and transparent. They took the appropriate time needed to thoroughly check the car out and find exactly what was going on. They showed me what was broken and explained what needed to be done and why. They are fantastic communicators and excellent mechanics, both English and Spanish. I was worried sick about the cost, as it was a head gasket, fan and electrical issue, but Heydis, who works in the office, did her due diligence, researching and finding the most affordable parts at a fair value. They are a great team and showed compassion and concern for my financial predicament, as well as my safety. Once the work was done, they made absolutely certain everything was in excellent working order and that the car is safe to drive, before turning it over to me. Very disappointed with my oil change, they took it upon themselves to replace all the filters without asking me and then charge me three times what they should cost. Very unprofessional and a bit like a scam. To make me pay for something that I did not ask to be installed is a complete rip off. I really wanted to like this Mechanic but when times are tough and money is hard to come by this is not acceptable. read more

Absolutely disgusting place. The customer service was a joke, the people who worked there were so rude and didn't even give any consideration about safety protocols for COVID-19. I rented a uhaul at this location, and none of the staff were wearing masks. The man I spoke to insisted I step into his 8x8 office and shut the door behind me, even though I reserved my van online and opted for contactless service. He then proceeded to tell me I did it wrong, regardless of the fact that I had the email verification in front of me. If being trapped in a small room with a rude man, who wasn't wearing a mask wasn't bad enough, I finally got my van.....they pulled the van around, didn't bother cleaning it or disinfecting it before having me get in. Not only that, he wasn't wearing a mask inside the van either, and there was broken glass on the dashboard. Once I drove the van to my home, I personally disinfected the entire vehicle, and when I came around to the back to wipe down the cargo doors, I opened the doors a nest of cockroaches scurried and pile of pistachio shells was in the spot where the roaches were resting. It's obvious that no one has cleaned or disinfected that van for a while!!! I guess the deadly virus that all of Florida is testing positive with doesn't affect this one specific business. There is NO better service with knowledgeable and kind people working there. Tom is an Angel, we would never go anywhere else. Some people just have a bad attitude and expect the world. Please try this place you will definitely be satisfied a million times over. He even drove my husband and I home when we had to leave our car. What to people want ??? Only the best !!! read more

I won't take my car anywhere else. Tom, the owner, is a great guy. He can come across as grumpy BUT in reality he is just very direct. And honest. The pricing is fair, they don't over charge. Over all, I know I can trust this place and the people that work there. They do great work. They are always busy with repeat customers, I think that says a lot. read more

This is a great place to get your car repairs done. They are very reputable and fair with their pricing. I took my car to the dealership to get a window motor replaced and they wanted to charge me over $400, I brought it to Tom and his team and it was less than half of that. read more
