Update: After about a month and a BBB complaint, they finally told me where to send the payment they demanded. Increased to 2 stars since one of the issues was resolved.

I had an appointment 3 days ago for an estimate on solar energy. Guy Joseph came out and seemed rather unconfident in his product and company. While trying to get all my information put into his computer he spent most of the time on his phone talking to his supervisor, Tia James, about how to proceed. While looking in my attic, Guy Joseph put his foot through my ceiling. When he came down he offered no apology but he did offer to clean up his mess. Since this appointment I have tried to get someone from powerhome solar to tell me when they will be out to fix the hole in my ceiling. They have been rather evasive and non committal.

Terrible, dangerous work environment company ask employees to do poor quality work as a sacrifice for getting more jobs done, not a very professional company.

    Wall in my front yard

The lead on install wouldn't wear a mask. That's not even half the issue. They left me uninformed most of the way. They dragged their feet with the design and meeting requirements of my power company. On install they tried to leave a large ugly plywood wall in my front yard. I had to fight to get it down and the meter etc in back of my house where it isn't noticeable. Almost a month after install I haven't received my sign on incentive that was supposed to come 2 weeks post install. I also have received the referral credit for the person I referred after I signed on who somehow has been up and running 4 months ahead of me. The people that referred me haven't gotten their sign on bonus. At the 4 week mark they came back with my power company for inspection to turn it on and they had wired it incorrectly so it wasn't approved. Not only that but my power company found their meter's seal was stripped so they invoiced power home and won't schedule another inspection till it's paid. At this point I will start paying my loan on my panels in 1 month and I won't have any solar banked to offset my electric bill prior to then. I wouldn't recommend this company at all!

After 1.5 years of the terrible install experience, we found a leak in our closet. Install experience included failing inspection 3 times and techs coming to the house asking "what needs to be fixed here?". Its your job to know why you failed inspection, not mine! They also dropped the attic fan through the ceiling of another closet and didn't say anything until i found the huge hole the next day! Since then, we have had issues with PV link and even needed the Inverter switched out. That took from August u til December 28 to complete that job. May 2022, we called them for another PV link issue. 4 days after that, is when we found the leak. May 22 was when they were notified of the leak, they were not going to send anyone until June 23 to even look at the leak and mitigate the damage of our 4 yrs old house. We pushed for 2 weeks to escalate and finally got someone out to remove the panels on June 6. We had our own roofer repair the house and have now been waiting for weeks for the reimbursement. Panels are sitting in our garage. Pink energy says our situation does not warrant the contract to be rescinded as they want to put the panels back on our roof. They will never touch our roof again. So now we are paying on a $45k loan for a shoddy installation job in which zero manufacturer instructions were followed. This company had complete disregard for our roof, ripped shingles, did not seal any holes and my house was only 2 yrs old when Installed and they have the worst customer service. This has been a nightmare and i have contacted a lawyer to help us get out of this situation as this was a breach of contract. Additionally, we saved about 9.8% on our electric and it was supposed to be 55%. 100% do not recommend going with this company.

Are panels were installed on February 14 here it is June 28 and we still have not gotten all our inspections we have made numerous calls we've had numerous calls of complaints of that these panels haven't really changed our electric bill we wish we never got involved because this is a nightmare that $73,000 we talk to duke power yesterday they told us that they don't have the original papers when they first installed. they do not know that there's a solar panel here they are also 16 weeks out from inspection after Power home solar does their job. Here is a picture what are 21 panels are doing on a Little bit of cloudy day and a full cloudy day there is no power from the panels here we are doing is running the air conditioning no TV no lights most of the powers coming from Duke our bill has changed very little

Installer put a foot through my ceiling and his weight cracked in other places that have putty.

They went out of service, but I got totally scammed. Nevertheless, solar system are not worth the money.

I don't often write such lengthy reviews, as most of the time they're short enough to warn others, however if you're seriously looking for work to be done in your home and want a honest opinion on where to turn then you'll appreciate the details. I felt providing such details was important when preparing to invest a lot of money and only wished I had such a resource when I needed it, so I'll share the link below if you'd like to read. The short version: Dynamic Comfort Solutions is the most trustworthy and thorough company! We saved thousands of dollars on this huge AC and water system overhaul, we were treated respectfully, there were no surprises, Billy the owner always stood by his original estimate and his word, the confidence we have in this team could never be matched by any others... in ANY industry! Our lives have literally changed because of this unparalleled company! Read full review here: https://michellecgardner.wordpress.com/2015/08/29/air-conditioningwater-system-review/

I purchased this system on 9/1/13 from Billy Cole of Dynamic Comfort Solutions. When he came to my home to give the estimate and complete the paperwork I was told the system I was purchasing was eligible for a $700 Lennox Rebate and a $200 Duke Energy SmartSaver rebate. Since the instillation, I have not received either rebate and contact with Mr. Cole to get the situation resolved has not been conducive to an agreement. He constantly skips around the situation and makes excuses, blaming the situation on employees he has let go or paperwork errors within his business, but still has not delivered on the $900 worth of rebates promised.
